Q: I want my boyfriend to get tested for STDs before I have sex with him, so where could he go to get this done? Whats the procedure? How long does it take? How much does it cost? And how long does it take to get the results back? Thank you.

go to the doctor or where you can get tested for aids. its not a big deal, really. every guy should get tested just to be safe. but, make sure your boyfriend is the one and where a condom!!

Q: school starts september 7th so i definitely need to dye my hair, get my nails done, get a haircut, etc. lately, i've heard of people asking to get their hair 'thinned' when getting a haircut. i've seen the the results and the hair looks different. like the texture. so my question is: what is hair thinning? how do they do it? what does it do to your hair?.. do you think it looks good?

most people thin their hair when they have curly/puffy hair natturaly.it's when your hair gets to full to handle, the hair cutter takes a sharp/spikey brush and pulls the hair out.it hurts for a second.you don't usually get your hair thined unless it's full.

Q: ok so im matured (and beyond ;)) but i still havent had my period. my friend has and shes like "oh you shave your armpits? i dont have to yet" nd all this other stuff like so shes not matured as much as me but yet i KNOW she has it! hmmmmm. . .?

i know its seems like untill u get your period everybody gets it first, that not the truth. you will get your soon, trust me.and when you do you'll fiind out that having your period means your becoming a woman, but it is a lot of work too not to get to emonial. don't stress over it. if will come before u know it.

Q: im 16 years old and 8 months pregnant..my boyfriend ..which is the father and is 19..wont have anything to do with me..he wont even touch me anymore yea he comes over every now and then but he doesnt stay long..it breaks my heart because i love him so much..he says he loves me but it definately doesnt feel like it..what can i do?

you just need to give him some space. im sure he will come around and help you again. for the mean time, you need to get help form your parents aor your friends. when he comes over, just treat him like the father of your baby and see how he feels. if he doesn't like it, then back of. you could ask his frinds if he talks about you or maybe they could ask him how he feels about you.you could get married, but you should only do that if you both love eachother and are sure of it.condiser counsling. it might help get things off your chest. just don't do anything to harm your baby.

you have to tell somebody. her mom is going to find out sooner or later that she's pregrant. you can talk to somebody at school or let her talk to you. it might make her feel better.you have to do the right thing if you are a good friend.

Q: OK. I have this little problem because I like this guy who is younger than me by like 10 months. People say it's not cool to date younger guys but I don't care. So here's my problem: I like him a lot, but I wanna be more than internet friends. I know him and he knows me, we go to the same school, but we don't talk in school, only online. you should date who ever you want. trust your heart. i say talk to him. see waht you have in commonor maybe ask to sit with him at lunch. have some of your friends to do it too, so you don't feel awakrd. make sure he likes you know so you don't lead him on.he is probably more mature then hes was a couple years ago, so give him a chance. try to be firnds on the comupter and at school a little bit more. you never know what can happen!!

Q: Alright I'm a 15 year old that wants to loose weight. i'm not excatly tiny but not excalty like obese(sp?) but want to be normal for my height. i have a problem with staying on task with the diet and would like some ideas on how i can stay with the diet. i will just end up eating a lot again...pleae help!

you can start by working out everyday with your friends, but make it fun and something you enjosy doing.also, start by cutting out one type of food and replacing it with a fruit or vegetable. DON'T go on a crash diet and only eat an apple a day. dieting takes a long time, it can't happen over night. to me, it sounds like you don't even need to lose weight. being a little chubby is ok, but do noit starve.

Q: This summer I have very few plans. I want to make some fast. Summer is in a few weeks when school gets out, and the pool opened today. I don't know how to get less shy and open up more, and to make more plans.

you could call your friends and aks them to hang out. you said you have a pool, so have a pool party and invite people from oyur school. you could get to know some great people ans hang out with them during the summer. Also, you could think aboout being a camp counsler. you could meet people to, but it might be to late to sign up.

Q: i am getting an mp3 player but im not sure if i want a zen micro or an ipod mini. any recommendations? i like that i can get orange in zen micro when the closest i coould get is gold in an ipod mini. i also like that there is a sound recorder..but i dont think it has any games..which the ipod mini does. please help!

you should get theb iPod mimi. trust me. i have one. it might not come in the color you want , but u can buy different color cases to go with it. the games are really cool, too.the company is a lot better and probably easier to use. there awsome!!!!!!

Q: ok my period isnt completely regular..sometimes i would get it on the same day a month later..other times i would get it 5 days after i started it the previous month. (that was the case for this month) I have an important party in exactly a month and i reeeally dont want to be on my period then..i hear stress and weight loss can delay you..should i stress myself out over the upcomng finals and should i start to lose a lot of weight..and will this delay my period?

saddley, there is nothing you can do. how old are you? there is this pill i heard about on te tv that you can take and makes you have only 4 periods a year. yes i said ONLY 4!!! but, you have to be like 21 or older . i think you should see a doctorjust incase.

Q: me and my friend, lets call her Sarah, got into a huge fight over a little misunderstanding. I tried over and over again to tell her that i was sorry...but what ever i said it came out soo twisted and messed up!! she is my only friend and now she hates me...how can i tell her im sorry without screwing up?!?!?!

just give "sarah" some space to betthe. she will eventually come and say she's sorry, or you will be able to talk to her soon. sometimes it might talk a long time. if shes a good friend, you will make up.

its hard when you just broke up. you can talk to your freinds about him or even your mom{if you want}. hes stupid for dumping you in the first palce beacuse i'm sure your a nice girl. you were to good for him and you will bounce back.

Q: I walked in on my very hot teacher and his wife going at it in the janitors closet one day because i was helping my principal for community service points clean her office. when i came back she asked me what was wrong cause i was mortified. seriously. this is no joke. so i dont know if i should tell her or not. but when i went to class the next day i felt very awkward and i could tell my teacher did too. so later him and his wife saw me walking down the hall and asked me if i wanted to join them at their house, as long as i didn't tell. should i tell the principal or should i join them? seriously. anyboyd that just wants to laugh at me can screw off because this is a very serious problem and i'm really stuck andi dont know what to do. please help

i think that the teacher an dhis wife just wnt ot have dinner with with you and talk. teachers aren't really supose to do that when they are your teacher, but i guess you can go. you should probably tell your parents and see what they say. if yiu go over and things feel weird, jsut leave and get out of there.

Q: My friend vanessa has a friend named alyssa. When i became vanessa's friend i knew right off the bat that i didt like alyssa. almost everyone i no hates alyassa. one day alyssa decided to get revenge on all the peeps. She stole over $200
from the our purse's that we left unattended in the girl's locker room. She must hnot have lioke me cause she stole $9 and a gift card from me. Everyone then totally hated alyssa. The only person alyssa had then and only had so far in middle school was vanessa. vanassa imed me om aim and told me that she didnt ewant to be alyssa's friend anymore but she was the only friend alyssa had. Me and vanessa want to get away from alyssa but not really hurting her feelings, wat should i do?

i think that you should just have a talk with her.tell her how you feel and ask her why she did that bad stuff. when you met vanessa, why did you start not to like alyssa. maybe alyssa has problems with her self or her family that you don't know about. i think as time goes on , you might think that she is better than you think now.

Q: This may seem like a random and completely dumb question to some, but I'm actually quite serious in asking this. My question is that why is it that young girls ages 12-14 and some even younger, feel that they NEED to have a boyfriend just to fit in? You girls don't understand, when your time comes to have a boyfriend, you'll find someone who will like you for you. Also, my other question is why do you feel the need to dress provocitavely, exposing your breasts, butt, and stomach just to look "sexy"? You don't need to be showing all of that to look sexy. i know what you mean. i think girls think they need to ware skimmpy clothes or need a boyfriend because they see it all around them. girls that are 12-14 watch tv and see it, movies have it too. they see what the people at their school are doing and think they need to have onr too from their peirs.

you are suppose to wash your hair everyday. but, depending on your hairtype, you may want to consider weather or not to use conditioner. if you have frizzy hair, lay off the conditioner. use it once a week. but use at least once a month.but if your hair is thin, there is no such thing as too much conditioner.

it will probably take a few years for your hair to grow back. for the mean time, have fun with it and try new things.

your friends are just going through a fase. they will grow out of it and they will become normal soon. try to show them thta they are making a mistake
