So how does this whole thing work? Im always giving advice but I just joined here! How do I know people can find me to ask questions?

People do not have to find you. On the side where it says "Give Advice" click "Vie Questions" and then you can answer whatever questions are there. That is how I found your question, which I am now answering. Give really good advice and people will ask you questions from your column. It might help to motivate them by saying "please ask me any time you need help", or putting a snazzy description of the types of questions you answer in your profile. I'd ask you questions if I knew who you were, so when you rate me you should comment and tell me your screen name!

Well, he is harassing you. If you tell your parents that he is doing that, they won't ground you. You are the victim. Tell your parents, and say that you think the police should be notified (they SHOULD! This is against the law!) You will only be in trouble if you keep secrets. If you tell your parents that someone is harming you, they will want to defend you.

does anyone know how i can burn the songs i download on limewire?

First you have to save them to a certain place. Then buy a CD burner and get some blank CDs. Then open your CD burner program. Go to burn a CD or whatever it says and open up the files for the songs, then select them and click 'add to list' or whatever it says, I don't know because CD burners and programs are different. Then go to file and click "write CD" or "burn CD", like I said they're all different.

I'm 13/f in the 8th grade.

Why do boys always beat each other up? Every morning, there's always at least two boys beating each other up in the hallway or by the lockers. For example, this morning this guy stole another guy's backpack and tied a piece of twine to it, letting it swing over the balcony. The kid who owned the backpack got really angry, and the one who stole the backpack jumped on top of him and tried to throttle him. Why does this happen? Is it hormones, or are the boys in our school just really violent?

You know how male deer will compete with each other when they see a hot female deer? It's like that. People are animals, too. We all have certain instincts. Girls also fight with each other, but it's different, you know? I think, also, that the guys just like to touch each other. Again, that's an instinct thing. Of course there are some cases where it's actual violence meant to harm other people, but I think most of what you're seeing is just general male rowdiness, ie, it's probably hormones like you said. I could be wrong though. Maybe if public school encouraged peace and respect, and had a meditation hour instead of, say, dodgeball, then they would stop this behavior. I am not a psychologist or anything. Maybe it is a little bit of both. Nurture -vs- Nature, y'know? However, that one with the backpack does sound like bullying. I think you should report it when it happens, but other than that there is not much you can do.

how long should a tampon be in ur body? like if i am at school from 7:00 to 3:10 which would be 9 hrs!!! du i need to change my tampon in skool...probably but i am not sure! pleese help i rate high!

Nine hours is definitely risking it. You should change your tampon once while you are at school. I'm pretty sure the maximum amount of time it should be in is eight hours, and I wouldn't even keep it in that long. So if I were you, I'd put one in in the morning, then change it in the middle of the day like at lunch or something, then take it out when you get home.

Burn incense in the car! There are lots of wonderful scents, like opium, Arabian Night, etc. Don't use Nag Champa. That stuff smells like old, horrible butter!

Why is my hair falling out?

Growing up I always had very thick and abundant hair. But now it's starting to fall out- and I'm only 14...

I dyed it about 3 months ago and it is just beginning to fall out.

Im starting a diet today. Your traditional no soda, all water, fruits &&veggies kinda thing. Im planning on becoming a vegetarian also..I alrady know the excersizes im gonna do, so dont think that im not stupid enough to juss search this, but what are some good MEALS, like for dinner i could eat? okay well i was wondering if the people who no longer get their periods because of eating disorders can still get pregant even though they dont get it anymore?

No. Your period happens when an egg is ready to be fertilized, but doesn't get fertilized. If you are not having your period, this means that you have no eggs that can be fertilized. Therefore, you cannot get pregnant.

ok this question is for girls only lol. i have my period & i can't use tampons..but i have swimming in gym class & my teacher is being a jerk about it, so i have to swim for the rest of the week. i'm not sure what to do exactly. my mom told me that your period stops & slows down in water, soo should i juss jump in fast? any ideas?

Yes, you can just swim without anything in and you'll be fine. But once you get out, quickly wrap a towel around you because you don't want any blood to be dripping down your legs.

Also, this is just some friendly advice, you may not want to limit your question for just girls. Some guys might have sisters or girlfriends that had this situation and could actually offer some good advice. Or maybe not. I wouldn't be surprised if guys answered it anyway; I answer "boys only" questions.

At Wal Mart you can get transparent nails and paint them blue. For lipstick and eyelashes, try Hot Topic. If that doesn't work, go to Sally's. Sally's has pretty much everything when it comes to cosmetics, but Hot Topic sometimes has some really cool things.

I am a 24 year old female. Please tell me how to choose between two 30-something year old men that are both in love with me. Neither of them. If you can't decide who you love more, you don't truly love either one. Choosing to be with neither of them will be good for you and them. Also, I think that any woman who goes back to someone who was abusive (I don't care that he was drunk!) is kind of weak. No offense to you, but I think you need to learn that you don't need a man to be a whole person, especially one that hurts you.

There are a lot of products used for stretch marks, but most of them do not work and in the end they are just a waste of money. The best thing to do is just accept your body. Everybody has stretch marks, even the prettiest girls, even the hottest guys. You will never be perfect, there is no use in trying.

What can I do to make me think about food less?

Think about other things, such as kittens, hot people, the meaning of life, and killer bat bunnies. XD

It depends on what you mean by pests. If you mean flies and bugs, get like fifty or so venus fly traps and have them all around the house. Those things rock and they EAT THE FLIES!! And yes, they ARE plants. If you mean mice, just catch them and release them into the wild.

My boobs hurt really bad when I wake up in the morning. But if I wear a bra to bed, they dont hurt as bad. I'm not big, only 38A/30B. Does anyone know why it hurts so much? Also, I dont really sleep on them. Thanks!

They may not be that big, but they are probably big for your body. Breasts put pressure on your back and weigh a lot. If you're small, this will happen even if your breasts are small. Some women's breasts hurt around the time of their period, so it may also be that. Other than that there is nothing I can think of.

What part of them is itchy? Have you noticed any rashes, like underneath maybe? Because if that's it then it might be because you haven't been wearing a bra...try putting some powder on it, too. If it's not because of a rash, you're probably just ichy because skin gets itchy. Just answering this question is making me itchy, like all over. So I'm gonna stop now. Good luck.

Maybe his mother is very strict and makes him clean the house a lot. Or maybe his teacher is very strict and gives him a lot of homework. Or maybe he just hit puberty and he's embrassed because you'll notice that he's getting erections. Or maybe he just doesn't want to be your friend! Harsh, but it's a possibility.

i feel like i have come upon a dead end in my life. a boy that i like doesn't seem to feel the same for me and i don't think that i could work up the courage to tell him that i like him...what should i do aobut it?

Oh well. That's life. If I had a dollar for every time that happened to me, I could probably buy a house and a jacuzzi and an i-pod. You could tell him that you like him, or you could just keep quiet and get over him. Either way, it happens. I know if seems like a really big deal, but in the long run, it really isn't.
