MrsStevenMarkJones answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 7:53 pm: ok what you need to do is this. Go to a therapist. i have seen many many freinds through cutting themselves. MANY freinds. so what you need to do is this, go to a therapist. they will figure out why you are cutting. then they will suggest a way to stop the cutting. you will probably go to a hopsital for a while or a mental institue (my one freind was in there for 2 weeks but she hasnt cut since) they may put you on anti-depressents to stop some of the depressed feelings that cause you to cut. but the best advice i can give you is go to a professional. if your too afraid go to your best freind and ask them to go to your parents for you. i have helped many through this kind of stuff and i hope it works out for you.

Maybe a best friend, or a parent, or even just a close relative or adult. Tell them what you need help with and see what they have to say about it. You can also get counselling, or see a psychiatrist. I found these websites online which might be of some help for you. A few of them are where teens go to talk about their problems with cutting, the others just have information about the topic.
