okay well i was wondering if the people who no longer get their periods because of eating disorders can still get pregant even though they dont get it anymore?
jealousyxo answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 5:38 pm: yes, you can still get pregnant, but theres a pretty good chance that the baby can have something wrong with it because of the eating disorder. If you have one you should get help, its not good for you at all, it just makes your body worse. And it can affect the baby too if you are pregnant.Hope i could help you out!
tasuki answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 3:39 pm: No. Your period happens when an egg is ready to be fertilized, but doesn't get fertilized. If you are not having your period, this means that you have no eggs that can be fertilized. Therefore, you cannot get pregnant. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]

Mckick answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 1:44 pm: even if your not getting you periods of a eating disorder theres probably something really wrong with you. a perosn with a eating disorder will have a harder time carring a baby to term and if they do the baby could have problems. LadyGoodman answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 12:57 pm: It would be really hard for a malnourished person to carry a child to term. If you're starving yourself, the baby starves, too. There is still always the chance of getting pregnant regardless though. [ LadyGoodman's advice column | Ask LadyGoodman A Question ]
rainbowcherrie answered Tuesday October 4 2005, 11:19 am: It's not very likely that you'll get pregnant if you aren't getting your period, although there is always a risk. Athletes usually have to take time off their sport if they want to get pregnant as they have to wait for their periods to start again {heavy sport causes them to stop}. So I suspect that it is similar with eating disorders. [ rainbowcherrie's advice column | Ask rainbowcherrie A Question ]
