Hey Sherry! The concert was AWESOME!!! But then again, you can't really go wrong when you've got 6 great friends and awesome music at the same time, now can you? The other two bands were Mae and Name Taken. My friends band (in our opinions) is better than Name Taken. The drummer's kindof... really bad. Like, off beat and bangs around like he doesn't know what he's doing. Mae is really good. Their name means the exact term for the mix of art and emotion. I think that's really cool. They're pretty good, a friend's brother got their CD, and (as usual) they're better when you can actually hear every word! Relient k was awesome! It was really hot and sweaty in the building where the concert was, but no one cared. There was a mouse (*cough* rat *cough*) that was running on the rafters, and everyone began to cheer for the rat! It was very very funny! I got a t-shirt, and we all had a ton of fun. I hope you have an amazing time when you go!! (if you've already been, I hope it was awesome!) I heard that .. Mae's (I think) van broke down, but they got that fixed. I got sick from the concert and so did a few of the others that went, but they escaped the flu and pneumonia lol I hope you don't get sick and had/have a great time!!!

Love handles are the area of your waist exactly where your pants stop and there is a little bit of skin/fat there. It's called love handles for a really disgusting reason. The reason doesn't matter, it's just a bit of extra tissue at your waist. Just about everyone has them.

I don't think that there is a right time or a wrong time. It just depends on your maturity and sanity levels. (lol) If you're very mature and don't get hurt easily, and wont go crazy if you don't talk to someone everyday, then you might be ok in a relationship. It just depends. If your parents don't want you to be in a relationship, then I would say, "No way!" Because that's disobeying them, and disobedience doesn't make God happy with us at all. Personally, I don't need a boyfriend. Sure, there are times when it would be awesome, and I do like someone. But I am not going to die if I don't have a boyfriend. At fourteen, you probably don't need a boyfriend. It might just cause you to lower your standards and fall. (like, maybe even sleep with someone when you know that it's not right and that your parents wouldn't approve) You're only fourteen. You have all of your life (God willing) to live and have boyfriends. Don't waste yourself. Be sure not to get hurt! For you, talk to the boy you're dating. Ask him how he feels about ya'lls relationship, and why he's dating you. Ask him if he feels that it is important to have a girlfriend. Then, pray about it. Then, decide. Peer pressure is heavy at this point in age, but don't let your peers make a descision like this for you. Happy Valentines Day!

a Jack Russell Terrier is a good choice, very friendly and easy going dogs. A Cocker Spaniel isn't too bad if you get a nice one. (They have a reputation for being mean sometimes, but I know people personally that have very nice Cocker Spaniels) But, in my opinion, a mutt would be the best choice. Go to the Humane Society and find a nice, small dog (puppy, if you prefer) and take it home. That way you're getting a friend for life while saving a life. Remember all dogs are different though, there are breed characteristics, but there are many exceptions. Have fun with your dog!

I always have to be perfect in every single way. That's just the way I am. Well, now that i'm getting older i feel very uncomfortable wiht my body. I weigh 97 pounds and i am 5'3". I'm worried my thighs are to jiggely and my butt as well. I'm also very uncomfortable wiht my bra size, i'm the 32 AA,=, and i hardly fit in that. Well, yesterday i was making a list about all the things i liked about my body and hate about my body. The only thing i liked was my eye color, and i have evrything else. Please help me!! 97 pounds at 5'3''? Whatever, I'm 4'10'', and I almost weigh that much! (And I'm not fat.) The reason that you wear such a small bra size is you're so small. (Thin) There's nothing wrong with being small, in fact, if you had larger breasts, you would probably be self-concsious because they were bigger. Take what God's given you and love it! I am a perfectionist too, and there are plenty of things that I don't like about myself. For instance, I don't like my height. I also don't like my hair. But I do like my eye color and I have been blessed with mostly clear skin, and I'm very muscular. Make a list of things you DO like about yourself. Go all out! If you rarely have acne, then you'd put clear skin. You have nice eyes, you have pretty fingernails, even put things like "I'm blessed to have a nice dog" or "I'm blessed because I have good food to eat every day". I would suggest eating healthy (not sugar and fatty foods, but a balanced diet of meat, dairy, produce, and fiber) and you could do muscle building exercises. Try doing about 15 crunches a day to start with. Push ups, sit ups and jack-knife crunches are good too. If you feel that you want to do more cardio work, run, jog, ride a bike, swim etc. Always, AlWaYs, ALWAYS remember this : God made you the way he wanted you to be. Be thankful for what you have, and remember that it could be much worse. Be thankful that you have internet access, good teachers, food, and the ability to even walk to class every day.

hey, there's nothing wrong with you! Ok, you're not the only one that doesn't have a special someone, believe me. I don't have a boyfriend. I know lotsa people that don't have boyfriends/girlfriends! But I know what you mean by the whole left out thing.. But I've never had a boyfriend before, so I'm a little bit ... more self dependant I guess. Tell your friends how you feel, and that you would appreciate it if they'd tone it down on talkin' about their boyfriends. I would hate seeing people in the hall kissing.. dude, that's why I'm homeschooled! (not really. That's not the reason, it's just a perk, but lately, it's becoming de-perked..) I am a Christian, like it or not, I'm still human. I've screwed up many times, but I know that my fate is secured. If you're a Christian, you know (without a doubt!) that when you die, you'll go to heaven. THAT ROCKS! I know different people that behave in different ways. (that are Christians) Some of them are hypocrites, they do the whole "good kid goin' to church" thing, but they do very inappropriate things. I know people who say they're Christians, but don't live the life at all, don't go to church or even own a Bible. But most of the Christians I know try their hardest to live a life for Christ. They are very well behaved, pretty much stay out of trouble, very polite and well mannered, but are still cool cats. If you're dating a Christian, you have less of a risk of getting pregnant. You'll have less of a chance of being pressured into something, less of a chance of getting hurt. Like you said, all Christians are different. Dating this Christian boy would probably be a good idea.

Well, theres only a few things you really can do, and they're not guarenteed to work.
The reason that a cat bites are
1)disposition, it's in the nature of the cat
2)anger/frustration - your cat doesn't speak english, so it's harder for them to get the message accross
3)playing - cat's are like dogs and will play fight sometimes
Here are some thing you can do to (hopefully) keep the cat from biting as much:
1)keep a spray bottle full of water (only water!) close at hand, and every time the cat bites, spray it
2)keep a rolled up newspaper nearby and every time the cat bites, lightly pop it on the rear
3)when the cat bites, put it in solitary confinement (like a dark closet)
That's really all you can do to try and keep the cat from biting. Happy Valentines Week!

i've had a knee problem for quite awhile. my doctor put me on "extreme resting", consisting of as little walking as possible, no juming, no running, no P.E., no going fast, no sports. period.
i've been doing this for 2 months, with no avail to my problems. i have a second MRI thursday, but i am becoming discouraged that i'll ever be able to do the things i enjoy again. how can i stay motivated?

ah.. the dreaded knee. I had a knee injury as well, but nothing as serious. I do know how boring the "extreme resting" thing is.. blah. You will be able to do the things that you once loved again!!! Do not stop loving them! I love horses, but for about two and a half months, I wasn't allowed to ride them. What I did was I made myself the most knowledegable that I could be about horses. I know alot more now, and since I now own a horse, it was actually a blessing in disguise. I would suggest that you study the things you enjoy. If it is softball, memorize all of the written plays, famous players etc. Tell yourself that you'll never get better if you lose heart. (because you wont!!) you have to be super positive, but not bubbly. lol =D Keep a smile on that face! The doctors will treat you like an adult if you act like one, and the doctors sure appreciate a smiling face with a good attitude!! I will pray about your knee, and so should you. God bless

I would tell your sister how you feel. Is your sis older or younger? It's easier to explain it to an older sibling than to a younger sibling. (I don't have older siblings, but I have friends that do the job quite well, thanks dudes.) If your sister has any brain in that head, she'll honor you by respecting your feelings for this young man. If you feel comfortable doing so, tell the boy that you like him. He'll respect you more, and understand (if he has a brain) that it's not really cool to flirt with a different girl when theres a chick standing there that likes you. (that was a confusing sentance, sorry) I understand the whole "I don't like getting hurt by guys, so I stay away" thing. But, sweetie, it doesn't always work. I tried that, and I couldn't stand it. You know how it is said that staying away from the one you love makes you love them more? It's that way with people of the opposite sex. (guys with girls, girls with guys) It's just the way God planned it. He did not intend for guys to be such players and break girls hearts, but he also didn't intend for girls to 1)totally stay away from guys ... or ... 2) be as much of a player as the guys are!
Two of my three closest friends are guys. Granted, they're not ... "normal" guys, but still guys. (what I mean by not "normal" is I go to church with one of them, go to a Bible study with the other. That makes us close alone, but we're also all homeschooled, another close bond.) You've just got to find the right guys to hang out with.
If your sister doesn't listen to you, don't get mad at her, just perservere. In two ways. Continue telling her that it hurts you to see her flirting with this guy, and also by not letting it get you down. Keep your chin up, girl! God will provide! *Be kind when talking to your sister! She'll be less likely to listen to you if you're all up in her face!*

This is so cool that you want to hang out with your dad!!!! Just be like, "Hey, Dad! Do you want to play this game with me? It would be fun if we could play this game!" Something simple as a game of Monopoly. Ask him to go see a movie with you, hang out. Just tell him that you want to spend more time with him. If he is able, ask him to play softball or b'ball with you. (if you like those things, that is) Be straight forward. Maybe you can even ask your mom to help you ask him to hang with you. Well, this is probably one of the most random questions I personally have ever asked. I love Panera's French Baguette (sp?) it's basically a long loaf of french bread. It is by far the best bread ever. But, getting to my question, I buy the bread when it is nice and fresh so it's warm and soft. After about 2-3 days, the bread gets hard. Is there any way to prevent the bread from getting hard? I had to put it in the microwave just to make it soft enough to bite into! I can't bite into hard things because I have braces and they might break off. But can anyone tell me as to how I can keep the bread from getting hard and virtually unedible? Thanks! (link)

Dude! I speak Engrish! Don't worry about it!! (it's sortof a joke with me and a few friends..) Anyway. You could try putting it in a cupboard, but if you don't take it out at least every other day, it'll grow mold then be bad. Put it in the refrigerator. It'll be cold, yes. But it'll also stay much, much fresher. If you plan on eating it, take it out of the fridge about 10 min. before you want to eat it. Then it won't be as cold, and it will still be fresh. Make sure that you're covering it up and closing it well. Make sure there is absolutely no air in the bag. Air is what makes bread go stale. I understand the whole braces thing. (I don't have them, but a few friends do) Popping the bread in the microwave is a good idea, though. If you want it warm and soft... but it sortof takes the flavor out of the bread if you're not careful lol. So, yeah. If putting it in the refrigerator and/or putting in a cupboard doesn't work, ask the people at the store how to keep it fresh. Happy Valentines Day!!

I don't think that he'll make fun of you if you get him something, he will probably just realize that you like him alot. But, I don't think that candy hearts is really the best you can do. I think that there has to be something a little bit more unique.. (no offense or anything..) It would be sweet for you to give him something! But I think that a nice little Valentines day card would be plenty right now. Not one of those dorky little things that are like, Rugrats or Scooby Doo or whatever, but a card that is a little bit nicer. Maybe from Hallmarks, or even Wal*Mart, Target etc. If you want something that's maybe, anonymous, then you could send him the little candy heart things. If you want it to be personal, but not face-to-face, you could put whatever you get him in his locker. If you wanted to be really really nice, you could get him something.. a CD or headphones if he likes music or something that he likes. I think that it's good that he wanted to be friends first. That means that you'll know him better before you go out with him. (If you go out with him) Happy Valentines day!

okay i have a major problem
my school has the biggest clique system EVER....like you wouldn't believe how many cliques there are. Its such a big deal....and its really get on my nerves to the point where I can't concentrate on my school work and my grades are slipping. This is because I'm at the bottom of the pit I only have a few friends (1 or 2) but still I wish I had more and theres a certain group that I would like to make friends with and they seem nice but I'm soo shy and people say I'm one of the shyest girls in the grade and that I hardly speak. I know I should speak more but its hard for me and I think I have social anxiety. Please help as high school is starting next year and I don't know whether to switch schools or change my image at the school I am going to (the school I am at has the grades pre-k till 12th). Also my school is one of the best schools in the nation and that is another reason why I am having a tough time deciding whether to leave it simply because of the cliques. I heard someone call me a reject and a loser at school....and to be honest I am a reject, but I know I'm not a loser. Please help, thank you sooo much!! (link)

Ok, enhance your shyness. Don't be afraid of it, love it! I am shy, some of my closest friends are shy, but around each other, you can't shut us up! Ok, I know how you feel. You just wanna sit there, hands under your knees and stare at the floor. Actually, I am good at that. Well, ok, really good at that. Actually, I do that almost every day, and I am homeschooled. I can't determine weather you have social anxiety or not, but it doesn't seem likely. You're probably just shy. I know how you feel, it's like, "No one's my friend, I don't have a life, why does school matter? Why should I bother doing homework if I don't have a life?.." I am assuming that you're in eighth grade, considering that you said that "High school is starting next year", or you're in ninth. I don't need to know, just something that I figured lol. Well, let me tell you this: Middle school is so much more rough than high school. In middle school, everyone is trying to figure out who they are. Who they want to be, what they're gonna do. That's why there are so many people that throw things like, "You're a loser!.. What a reject!" at you. I get them too. I don't even care anymore! You know why? Becuase God made me the way he wanted me to be!! That's what I love about my God, He made me the way he wants me to be. Even though I sin plenty, (not proud of it, but I do) He sees me as perfect. Without blemish, though I see all the screw ups and mistakes. Don't worry about what all those people say, they're just insecure. That's why they say things like that. They are hurting, and feel small, so they make someone else hurt and feel smaller. It's awful. But all I can tell you to do is, say "hi" to someone, join a club and meet some friends. Put yourself out there a little and introduce yourself. That's what's so hard for me. But I've done it. I have three very close, awesome friends. And believe it or not, two of them are guys. (FYI, I'm a girl..) But my "sister" is my best friend in the whole world. We aren't related by blood, but by our Savior. You gotta start slowly, get one or two friends, and build off of that! Just smile, smiles make you look happier, friendlier and smarter. If you look those things, it's easier to find friends. Keep your chin up! You're no loser! Ignore cliques!! Dude, cliques smurf!!!
