if u r a guy maybe ask if he wants to fishing or something if his health would permit it. if u are more of an indoor person maybe try going out to lunch or w/e. if your a girl maybe try asking if he wants to go see a movie. i dont know what the situation is but if you dont know how long you have you might want to ask quickly

How does that sound weird? I think it's great you want to spend time with your dad. Do you know how many people wish they had one?? Yeah, so what your trying to do is cool. Find out what your dad likes, like for instance if he's a football fan, you two can go together to watch the game. Or you can watch it together on t.v, it's all good. Be honest with your dad. Tell him exactly how you feel (I know it's not that easy), but just be like "dad, we really never got the chance to hang out and I'd really like it if we did"... Look around places and see if you can find something that interests you both. *goodluck*

Hey, don't worry, this doesn't sound weird. Whatever way that you ask your dad to spend more time with you, I'm sure he'll be glad to. Ask him if he wants to go out somewhere like to a bowling alley, to the movies, or out to dinner. You could also help him around the house or you could watch a movie with him. Just tell him that you want to spend more time with him. Hope I helped :)

I think I know what you're shooting here for...

My brother died of cancer not too long ago, and one of my biggest regrets is not hanging out with him more...

Honestly, I'd say just be in his presence.

I know that sounds lame, but I mean, just sit in the same room as him, and I am more than sure something is bound to come up in conversation.

I agree with the board games, and a few other things, but if it's like I'm assuming, bowling, and ice skating are out of the question.

Just ask him if he has any stories he'd like to tell you about growing up...

Maybe teach him how to play video games if it doesn't make him nauseas...

That's so cute. Dad's always enjoy spending time with their kids. Maybe you could hangout at home and have a simple night. Do some talking, watch some movies and look back on old memories. You could also do something exciting and fun. Go to the movies, the mall, ice skating, bowling, dinner, etc. I'm sure where ever he goes, both you and him will have a great time.

This is so cool that you want to hang out with your dad!!!! Just be like, "Hey, Dad! Do you want to play this game with me? It would be fun if we could play this game!" Something simple as a game of Monopoly. Ask him to go see a movie with you, hang out. Just tell him that you want to spend more time with him. If he is able, ask him to play softball or b'ball with you. (if you like those things, that is) Be straight forward. Maybe you can even ask your mom to help you ask him to hang with you. Happy Valentines Day!!
