Well I'm writing a research paper for my Honors English 2 class and it's too late to change topics. Mine is Italian culture. Well I know religion and entertainment are apart of culture, but what other topics should I discuss? It has to be 5 pages, 12pt font, double spaced. Mine, handwritten, medium-big handwriting, single spaced, is about a page and a half with my intro, 2 paragraphs on entertainment, and 1 paragraph on religion. I'm not really sure what would be included in culture. I don't think I just write about everything in Italy-- or do I? Pretty much, if you were doing a countries culture, what would be paragraph topics? I hope you get what I mean, sorry if you don't. Thanks in advance!!

I hear a lot of people say that applying toothpaste on pimples helps to clear it. I asked my dermatologist if that was a good remedy, but she said that there's no known ingredient in toothpaste that would aid to get rid of pimples. Does it really work? I would try it out myself, but I'm a little skeptical of putting toothpaste on my face.

no! it doesnt work! trust me, i've tried it. all it did was irritate it and made it more red and noticable. try using a face product made for acne. i find neautregena(sp) helpful.

Hey, you know the neospharen (spelling) stuff people use to prevent scars? Well my acne is actually finally clearing up and i have some scaring (i think) on my cheeks, can I use it after i wash my face and put my medicine on, or will it just make it worse?

i just got a pimple last night and im going to a wedding tomorrow! well when my pimples come they usually are red for a couple of days, what are some things i can do to cause less redness? thanks

as weird as it sounds, use visine! it's made to reduce redness in eyes .. but it also reduceses the red in blemishes. once the red is gome, use a concealer or liquid foundation to cover it up more. hope i helped!

note - if you intend to keep on using the visine for your eyes, dont let the tip of the bottle touch your skin

Hey guys, i like to read a lot, and i've read many famous books like To kill a mocking bird, Catcher in the Rye, Harry potter, and so on. Anyways does anyone know any really really good books, and authors for when i go to the library next time? Is 13 old enough to wear makeup? I mean like light makeup, not really heavy makeup cuz I'm 13 and I want to, but I'm not sure if it would look weird on a 13-year-old?

yes, 13 is fine to start wearing make-up. im 13 and i do. Basically all i wear is mascara, eyeliner, cover-up, and if i have a bad breakout i'll even wear foundation. You could wear light pink or light brown eye shadow, just try not to go overboard, lol. save the lipstick for later, you shouldn't be wearing that till you're 30!

How do you put on eyeliner without the pencil going all over the place????

just under your eye, pull the skin so the red part shows. on the line where skin and red meet(that should be skin-colored), draw a line with the liner.

**if you want it darker, go over it sveral times.
**if you want it lighter, dont go over it as much
**if you get some on the red part, it wont hurt you
**if you get some on your skin, wet a q-tip to get it off

to start off, im going to a flea market for fun with 2 guys and another girl. i know there are a ton of creeps so i really dont know what to wear. the 2 guys are punk & goth and im in between girly and rocker type style. SO should i go for a jean skort with a t shirt or my ripped jeans and a tshirt? there would be pros and cons to each...i have good legs (lol, i get told so often.) and that would drive the guys im with crazy, but im concerned about being stalked by some of the creeps. jeans...well its summer. let me know! theres no right or wrong answers!

i think you should wear the jeans because (a) there are creepy people out there and (b) you wont stick out like a sore thumb compared to your other friends. As for the heat, bring a awning (http://partytentcity.com/images-ptc/20x20SRV4sidedValance2of2.jpg) so you you'll be in the shade. most flea marketers have one!

Yesterday I was trying to crack a glow stick and it exploded in my mouth. Only a little bit of liquid came out and I spit it all out and rinsed out my mouth. It burned my tounge..Does that mean it was toxic? Would I know if I was poisined by now? Please reply quick so I will know how to treat this!

no, its not toxic. Thats happened to me before and all it does is tatse terrible and make your mouth glow, lol.

I'm 14 years old and I would really love a summer job. The only thing is people don't really hire you untill your about 16 years old. Does anyone know of any way I could get some sort of a job at my age? Besides babysitting of course.

I just overdosed. I do it all the time but this time I think I did to much. I keep passing out so I'm making this quick. No one would understands my problems so I can't tell anyone. I feel freezing I have no air conditioner though and I live in FL it's 90 degrees. Something's definatly wrong. What should I do?!

okay calm down and dial 911. tell then that you are overdosing and tell them where you live. they will probably ask what you took, and you should tell them. this happened exactly to my brother so i know what to do. they will probably take you to the nearest hospital in an ambulance to the emergency room. if you live with your parents/gardians, they will probably follow you in their car.

Well I'd been using clearasil ultra on my face and chest and they got really really dry and tight. my face is getting better but it's still a little pealy and nothing i do will help the skin on my chest, its all red, splotchy, and tight from where the medicine was. I've stopped using the medicine but it seems like even moisturizing doesnt even help. I have graduation in a week and i'm wearing a strapless dress help!

i hate that stuff! use nutregina rapid clear. i noticed a difference! i really works, and brings down acne and reduces redness quickly. theres also rapid clear face wash as well as cream. i would suggest you use both for better results. hope u look awsome for your graduation!
