Is 13 old enough to wear makeup? I mean like light makeup, not really heavy makeup cuz I'm 13 and I want to, but I'm not sure if it would look weird on a 13-year-old?

I definitely say you're old enough to wear make up. No one says you have to totally PAINT your face like a canvas, you could easily make it suttle and naturaly. Why not try some earthy colors as your eye shadow, and a nice shimmery lip gloss? I think that would look great! :D

♥ lol im 13 and i wear makeup! ive worn makeup since i was 11 or sumthin. as long as you feel comfortable wearing it. I think the best starter makeup in caboodles! or covergirl. just start out with some mascara maybbe a little eyeliner and if you need base or coverup. then once your used to makeup you can go on to the big stuff like MAC-thats wut i use its deffinetely the best. Anyways its your decision if you want to wear makeup or not. Just know it wont look weird, actually most 13 year old girls wear makeup. just remember less is more and still look natural! xoxo LAUR3N_*

Okay well, im a 13/f and i wear make-up. depending on the occasion determines the ammount of make-up i wear for example to school i wear just like eyeliner and shimmer powder. But like if i go to i dance or sumthin ill go al out on it.

ive worn makeup for as long as i can remember. go with basic eyeshadow and maybe some foundation. dont over do it, it looks bad. try reading "bobbie brown teenage beauty" for some good ideas to start off with. <3

Hey! I'm 13 and I wear makeup so I think it would be okay to start. Try a natural look so it sort of blends in. Try a light eyeshadow in a neutral color, maybe a little bit of eyeliner or mascara, a little bit of blush, and some lip gloss. That is what I wear and I think that it would work for you too.

yes, 13 is fine to start wearing make-up. im 13 and i do. Basically all i wear is mascara, eyeliner, cover-up, and if i have a bad breakout i'll even wear foundation. You could wear light pink or light brown eye shadow, just try not to go overboard, lol. save the lipstick for later, you shouldn't be wearing that till you're 30!

I deff. think 13 is old enough to wear light make up. I started wearing blush when I was 12. I just dont think you should put alot of dark eyeliner and eye shadow on. Just some blush, mascara, and light lip gloss would be fine, even some light brown eyeliner would look pretty. But I dont think it would look weird on a 13 year old, I see 13 year olds in make up all the time, just don't over-do it.

i started wearing make-up when i was 11. I wear pink or light light light blue eye shadow, mascara, and eye-liner. Lip gloss is good too, and i wear that sometimes. But lipstick, no. lipstick just makes you look like a slut or a clown.

Actually, yes it is old enough to wear make-up! I wouldnt wear any face make-up though, just some light eyeliner and lipgloss! so you dont get too hooked onto wearing it every single day ya know? But you could wear some light powder also. make sure when you take the powder on the brush you dab it on your hand to get the extended powder off, then (putting it in oily areas first) brush it out into your hair lines!

Yes, but be careful what u wear. Too much eyeliner and stuff can make your eyes look like their dead. Trust me. Eye shadow's good, and lip gloss and blush, if you want. Kepp it light though.

Well, I do thing it's a little early for you to be wearing a full-blown face of make up. But, you did say you don't want that so that's good. I think that 13 is a good age to start with some moderate types of make-up but for the full effect wait until you start high school. Since it's summer, you can experiement though. I would try wearing a nice blush and some lipgloss or shimmer, not lipstick yet though. That would look too dramatic. You could also try wearing just a touch of mascara. Like just get a really basic kind to start off with. (One that's available in your local drug store) Make-up isn't meant to make you look prettier or cooler, it's just there to enhance natural beauty which everyone has, so remember that, and have fun! :)

I got make-up at the age of 12 and i'm 13 now. I think it's ok to wear make-up. I wear the light make-up like you said you wanted to. Most of my frends wear make-up. hope I helped.
