all you gotta do it pull down your lower eyelid and put the eyeliner on and then your done. it will look good.

well liquid liner might work better on you if your not comfortable with an eyeliner pencil
but to anwser your question you should pull your bottom eye lid down and apply it slowly on...
maybe on eye liner there are dirrections...idk cuz i all i read on eyeliner is the brand...

try liquid eye liner...that stuff can get a little messy but it works pretty well...the stuff i use is amazing but its a little pricey...actually its a lot pricey its eye liner by laura mercier its the best stuff i have ever used...its sold at nordstroms...saks...and other places im not sure....go to her site [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

3.in one neat line draw across.and if you want to make it think go over it again

When it comes to liquid eyelineR oR pencil eyelineR, it's just a peRsonal pRefeRence as to which we use. CeRtain things suit ceRtain people. HoweveR, if you ask... chances aRe that most people will tell you that pencil is a betteR choice. It's a gReat staRt foR a beginneR who is just getting used to it. If you mess up, pencil is A WHOLE LOT easieR to clean up and Re-do than liquid would be. And if you plan on caRRying it aRound in a puRse oR pocket.. you also face a chance that the liquid may Ruin [though I don't suggest caRRying eyelineR in youR pocket]. And if you do mess it up, just take a tissue and slowly Run it along the Rim of youR eyelid.. it'll come Right up. Now, the desiRed effect of eyelineR is to cReate the illusion of daRkness just above the lashline to enhance the look of the lashes. To apply it, gently hold youR eyelid down, and staRt at the inneR paRt of the lid [closest to youR nose]. Then just simply dRaw a thin line smoothly and evenly along the uppeR lid, getting as close to the lashes as possible. Also, make shoRe you dRaw the line all the way to the outside coRneR. It will pRobably take some pRactice -- it took me a while at fiRst too... now I have it down incRedibly well. And now foR the pRoducts... peRsonally, I think the two best bRands of eyelineR out theRe aRe "MeRyl NoRman" and "Beautique". "MeRyl NoRman", which can only be puRchased at "The MeRyl NoRman Cosmetic Studios", is pRicey [typically $8.50 - $15.00], but it REALLY IS good stuff. It goes on wondeRfully, and stays on all day!!! On the otheR hand... I happen to think that "Beautique" is INCREDIBLE, howeveR, I've ONLY seen "Beautique" at "Sally's". And "Beautique" is only .99 cents. TRUST ME.. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy cRap make up!!! I get only the best, so please, please, please, please DON'T let this dollaR pRice thRow you off - you'd be cheating youRself out of the best pRoduct out theRe!! I'd *PREFER* "Beautique" out of ANY otheR bRand of eyelineR!! I could easily go out and buy a $15.00 pencil, but I'd RATHER get "Beautique"! "Beautique" glides on smoothly and REALLY LASTS ALLLLL DAY!!! I CAN NOT pRomote this item enough!! And if you still have doubts... foR only .99 cents.. it's woRth a shot!! I hope I helped!!

i put my eyeliner on by pulling my eye lid so the inside of the eye kinda shows ya know? then just put it on. i dont bother with the top. <3

its hard at first, but i everntually got the hang of it. while your putting it on, pull down like your cheek so u can see your eye better. carefully apply it close to your eye and curve the pencil so u get all under your eye

i dunno why, but whenever girls put on make up we have to have our mouths open..it's like a proven fact. but just try to steady your hand, like if you're doing it in the mornings right after you wake up, do other things first so you're more awake when you try doing it thats what i always do. and most importantly take your time!! good luck!

just under your eye, pull the skin so the red part shows. on the line where skin and red meet(that should be skin-colored), draw a line with the liner.
**if you want it darker, go over it sveral times.
**if you want it lighter, dont go over it as much
**if you get some on the red part, it wont hurt you
**if you get some on your skin, wet a q-tip to get it off
