XoXoDaniXoXo answered Monday February 14 2005, 12:32 am: maybe you should get your kitty chew toys and whenever it comes near you to go and bite you substitute your arm with something else for your cat to bite.
Sweetie2oo4 answered Friday February 11 2005, 8:18 pm: bite the damn thing back..lol that worked for my puppy..but cats hate water, so maybe spray it with a water bottle or if u tug on the skin (lightly) on the back of its neck/head and give it a little shake--thats what their mothers do when they're little, i hear it works well
shake answered Friday February 11 2005, 8:09 pm: Whenever it bites, you
1 spray it with water
2 throw it across the room(thats the evil way, but itll still get the point)
or 3 Slap the cat in the face
FunnyCide answered Friday February 11 2005, 3:50 pm: Well, theres only a few things you really can do, and they're not guarenteed to work.
The reason that a cat bites are
1)disposition, it's in the nature of the cat
2)anger/frustration - your cat doesn't speak english, so it's harder for them to get the message accross
3)playing - cat's are like dogs and will play fight sometimes
Here are some thing you can do to (hopefully) keep the cat from biting as much:
1)keep a spray bottle full of water (only water!) close at hand, and every time the cat bites, spray it
2)keep a rolled up newspaper nearby and every time the cat bites, lightly pop it on the rear
3)when the cat bites, put it in solitary confinement (like a dark closet)
