How do I tell her?

Question Posted Friday February 11 2005, 4:07 pm

My best friend gave me a baby rabbit for Christmas (she breeds them, not in the greatest conditions but still)...but she died last night :'( I looked after her really well, I brushed her fur (she was a long hair) and fed her and gave her enough bedding and kept her hutch clean and gave her a run and everything...we think maybe she had a weak heart. But how the hell do I tell my friend? She's going to think I neglected the rabbit - I only had it two months!! I'm so upset and I can't deal with her hating me or anything...so how do I tell her?

If she is a GOOD best friend, then she will understand. Tell her what you just told us.

hey,
i'm sorry about your bunny. I think that you should sit her down one day soon when she is in a good mood and tell her what you told advicenators. You say she is your best friend and i think she should understand.
i hope i can help

Well i had a hampster for a week and then it died. So i know where your coming from with the short lived rabbit and what not. Just say hey, my rabbits dead. Thats it. Who cares if she thinks you neglected it, she breeds these things for a living she'll just replace it with another one, if it were me i wouldnt care, i gave it to you and its yours, so the point is she prolly wont care, she'll juss say something like OOOOH how sad.
