I'm getting a new phone this week, and looking online, I've narrowed it down to :
- the pantech matrix
- samsung a777
- lg shine

based on experience or anything, which phone would be best/most reliable? I was hoping the matrix but im not sure. i bought a phone a while ago and it was so cheap and i dont want to make the same decision again

well, I have the red lg shine and I am absolutley in love with it haha. It's like the greatest thing ever, :] but if I were you I wouldnt get the samsung a777, my friend got that and hated it so much she started using her old phone again. the pantech matrix hag gotten good reviews, but it just depends on what you're looking for in a phone, yuh know? but since you like the matrix maybe you should go for it, but all I know is that the lg shine is most definetly reliable, I would know :] I mean, I was a little skeptical at first, because I got it when it first came out on the market, but it's great, really.

Ok I got my ears double pierced in September. About 4-5 weeks after I got them pierced they started bleeding. It wanted to close up I think? I didn't take out the earrings till about 6 weeks after I got them pierced. So I wear earrings regularly. My ears went normal. Now my right ear is normal and my left started bleeding again. But then it was kind of gross that white stuff started coming out of that hole. Is my ear infected? Is this normal? Or should I not worry and it will get better? I cleaned my ears with the ear stuff they give you near the beginning. And another thing is I can't wear fake gold or fake silver because it gives me rashes. So I only wear them every couple days. I don't think that would be the problem since my right ear isn't bleeding or anything. Thanks!

Sometimes, when you cut the inside of your ear hole, it starts to bleed. That happened to me with my right hole [I have double piercings too] and white stuff did come out. it was gross, but that doesn't mean its infected, it's just trying to heal itself and that's part of the scab. You have to put neosporin on ur ear and then clean your ear again. then put not fake gold in your ears and leave it in for the day and take it out at night. The fake gold and fake silver are also causing your ears to bleed because it's irritating your ears. make sure you get something from a stroe that is made specifically to clean jewlery and clean your earrings and other jewlery with that, because that will help cease some of the irritations and wipe the bacteria off. But if this problem continues to occur, take your earrings out for a while, or go see a doctor and ask him/her to take a look at your ears. good luck! hope I helped xxo.

okay im 17/f and (after the holidays lol) im going to be trying to lose 7 pounds! im only going to be eating organic/natural foods but at school for lunch our school only serves unhealthy greasy fried foods usually. i need to bring my own lunch but im not sure what i should bring? whats a healthy lunch i can bring everyday for lunch? (no bread)

Salad! I love bringing in salads, it's different from breads and snadwhiches, and totally healthy! You could also have yogurt and some fruit, or a fruit salad. maybe even throw in some veggies, or tuna salas. just bring in a container with any type of salad and you'll be good to go :] hope I helped ! xxo

If I become closer with a guy, and our relationship might be more than just a friendship, without thinking about it, I become quite distant from the guy.
It also happens when I'm not sure if the guy is interested or not, but we're being flirty with each other.
Why does this happen?

This happens to me all the time, don't worry, I know what you're talking about. It happened in my past relationship, and I think it's because you don't want to do anything to make that person not like you, and you get so consumed in trying to be perfect for them that your first instinct is to keep your distance because you don't want them to look at you and be like ... "why do I even like her?" yuh know? It could also be because you get nervous at the thought of commitment or the unkown aspects of peoples feelings or even your own. You just have to force yourself to get over your fear, I didn't even know I was doing this until afterwards and I'm just like, wow why didnt I notice this before? but you have to take baby steps and work towards not slinking away from a guy who likes you or may like you. You have to always talk to him and try your hardest to not become distant. Don't run away from something that could turn out to be so great, trust me, I would know, and in the end, you will regret it. My best guy friend just told me that he liked me on istant messanger. Then i told him i just liked him as a friend because that's all the feelings i have toward him. Then he got offline and i felt really bad. I figured i hurt his feelings and he didn't want to talk to me anymore. What do i do? What should i say next time i talk to him? Or should i say anything? Obviously he's going to be sad that you don't feel the same way, put yourself in his position. If you told the person you were best friends with that you liked them as more than "just friends" and they didn't feel the same, you'd be pretty torn up about it. Just know where he's coming from because he might have some bitterness towards you for a little bit, sometimes guys take rejection hard, it hurts their e-go, yuh know? You should just talk to him and tell him that you don't want this to ruin your friendship and that you know he'll find a great girl and when he finds her that you'll be cheering him on, things like that to let him know you still care :] If he's still pissed, then let him cool off for a little bit and give him some space, I know you feel bad, but it's not your fault, he can't make you feel guilty for your feelings and following your heart. I think that what it comes down to is what you think. Do you think he's too old for you, because I can tell that you are having some doubts and second-guessing yourself. In my opinion, I think that in some situations, age is just a number, but because you are so young [and so am i, im only 16] you should probably just keep it friendly for now. Yeah, it seems cool to have a boyfriend thats 5 years older than you, but you can be pressured into doing things you don't want to do and you have to remember that you can't do as many legal things as he can, so that's where the age difference might come in as a conflict. so it seems at the end of every day my stomach gets huuuge...like in the morning its nice and flat and then as the day goes on it gets bigger and bigger and im so self conscious about it...it almost looks like im pregnant...and sometimes i get these bad stomach aches..its that bad...how do i stop this?

Here may be a reason WHY this happens ...
1. you're skinny, so when you eat you get bloated heavily
Here are ways you can solve it ...
1. avoid acidic foods
2. eat a few almonds after you eat [or even before you eat] because this reduces bloating
3. If you eat fruit or any other acid-forming foods after eating something else before that within a 1/2 hour, this can cause gas which leads to bloating.
4. you mightjust have gas which is making you gt blaoted so take a gas-x, it helps with the bloating. [stomach aches are probably from the gas]
5. maybe you should try gaining some way, it can help even out your body and decrease the bloating. but throughout the day, everyone becomes bloated.

i am hosting a private facebook event (as in, i made it a private event when i first made it) and i am the ONLY ADMIN. however, for some reason, facebook keeps making it an open event, and i have NO IDEA how to stop it! Can someone PLEASE HELP ME? I have to change it back every few days, but NO ONE (no, not even me) is changing it to "open." ANY TIPS?

It shouldn't be doing that, and I think that when you are editing the description, you need to change the "open" back to "private". I think you just need to pick a title and stick with it to make it easier for you :] haha and so it stops changing back to open [make sure you press save after you change it back to provate, because sometimes it doesn't always save]. okay sooo me and my guy are finally together..in a way..
i love him soo much..but how can i make the time pass by until he comes and visits me next year..its sooo long away and its really hard..but there isnt a doubt in my mind our hard that i would hurt him..

Well, if you guys are together, it's good that you know you won't cheat on him, or stray. So you should probably pass the time by hanging out with your friends on weekends, and calling him up to talk to him and hear his voice. You should get out, meet new people, and all of that because if you're cooped up in your house, doing nothing, time is going to go verrry slowly. So just have fun and try not to be sad that even though you and your guy have just gotten together, you can't see eachother for a while. Just don't forget to stay in touch via computer, phone, letters, etc. Also, you should get a job [if you don't already have one] and involve yourself in fun activities.

Look, cheating is NEVER okay, not on any terms, so if I were you, I'd stay away from that route and plus, who wants ot be known as the girl who cheated on her unsuspecting boyfriend, yuh know? :] here's my advice, you should think about what you really want. You can't have both guys, so if that's really hard to choose between, then just let them both go. If you really love your boyfriend of 3 months, you wouldn't even be having these thoughts, so something must be lacking in your relationship. Talk to him about it, but don't cheat on him, and you probably shouldn't hang out with zach until you've talked about this with your boyfriend, he might not like to hear it and it might end the relationship, but to figure this all out, you probably should sort it out with him.

I think coconutcatastrophe gave you a good answer, but to make sure it stays to the side, either just spray it once with a little bit of hairspray, or put some hairspray on your fingers and [using your fingers] part your bangs to the side.
There are also some gels you can use to make your bangs stay, but I don't highly reccomend them because it can make your hair look stiff and greasy after a while.

I'm pretty positive, almost 99.9% sure that he likes you. Number one, he alwasy talks to you, flirts with you by giving you little names like sweetheart and such, he let you have his hoodie ... haha all are sure signs of him being intrested in you. And for the not talking to you about hanging out or not talking to you in general part, he probably wants you to strike up that conversation or ask him, so he can be certain that you like him too. My boyfriend was the best, he was sweet & cute and he loved me soo much he text me everyday call me and we'd talk for HOURS! we never talk on msn because he'd be on the phone with me..But now it's been 3 months and i don't know he started working a few days ago but he's been canceling our dates.. Not talking to me on the phone.. Never texts me back.. all our communication is really msn. i geuss he doesn't have time for me.. the things he did in the beginning were why i loved him soo deeply now he trys to use shortcuts to get out of things.. like excuses and such. since its a long distance relationship its hard for us, but it wasn't before because we had great communication. But now i don't know how can i get him to relize im alive start calling me again and such.. my friends tell me to dump him because he does sometimes treat me bad but i can't i love him too much.. i want him to see how much i want him to care about me.. i could wait for hours for his phone call while he's at a dumb party and didnt invite me (-.-) i really need advice.. and i do things like wait and wait and i text him every morning i use to call but he said not to anymore in the mornings i would be his alarm clock .. and he doesn't see the things i do for him.. WHY CAN'T HE RELIZE HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM! why can't he put any effort into our relationship.. he makes me wait he goes to party's and dinners with friend and doesn't invite me.. should i dump him?

No one on this site can tell you to dump him or not, because we don't know him like you do, because it has to be what YOU want to do. :] My best friend is going through a situation like this right now with her boyfriend, and she is seriously considering dumping him. I agree that communication is important, but you've also been trying to communicate with him and get him to see how much you care about him, but he is choosing to ignore you ... it seems to me like you deserve so much better and you deserve someone who wants you as much as you want them. If you're not satisfied with what he's doing, and you've tried numerous times to get through to him, then you should just let him go, I know it might not seem like it now, but in the end .. maybe a few month or years from now, you'll be happy you let him go, and while you may never forget how much you loved him, the relationship just went sour, and it's not your fault, he just changed for the worse. But if you want to give the relationship one more try, then meet up with him IN PERSON and tell him how you feel. But just remember that long distace realtionships don't always work, and people change or become more distant.

Okay, just as a warning, this is going to be REALLY long. Please, anyone who reads this, please read ALL of it, since there are a lot of details to the situation. Okay, here goes!

So, I have been going to the same church for like three years now, and there's this one really awesome guy I like. For this I'll just call him Tom, even though that's not his real name. I just really started liking him this spring, although we had known each other before hand. I'm kind of a tomboy and I'm rather anti-social, as in I like/dislike things most other girls don't/do. Basically, I detest shopping, make-up could go burn in the fiery abyss for all I care, the color pink makes me vomit, perfume can actually give me serious breathing problems, I enjoy being messy, dirt is awesome, I don't give much crap about my appearance, aside from looking slightly presentable, weapons are wonderful, I train obsessively in martial arts, I'm okay with violence/blood, swords make me feel all fuzzy inside, and I get along better with animals than I do with people. I've pretty much always hated all guys because I was pretty much abused by other boys in my early and pre school years, ie getting choked by a kid in 1st grade. As a result, I really hate pretty much all guys and I feel almost violent, so when I find a guy I like and can relax around, it's really nice. So anyway, Tom and I really started talking more early this year when I got seriously PO'd at this other dude who wouldn't leave me alone. For whatever reason, even though I was flipping out at all the other guys, Tom was the only one who could come near me, and he helped me calm down. And even though this sounds weird, he was only able to calm me down by showing me his weapons magazine, full of swords, daggers, archery equipment, rifles, etc. It put me in a happy place, and I was finally able to relax enough to survive the other guys.

Tom is really awesome, he loves a lot of things I do, including hunting, weapons, animals, anime/manga, action movies, etc. After service at church, we're always trying to find each other to talk. It's practically the only thing I've been doing lately at the church I go to. Tom is really nice, at least to me. It feels like he knows everything I do, and knows how I feel, and we act similarly in a situation. He just... Makes me feel amazing, which has never happened to me with a guy before. Tom's technically a year younger than me, but we're in the same age group, and I really wish I could see him more often than once a week.

So anyways, how the heck do I tell him I like him? I have no clue if he feels the same way about me, or w/e. I'm so afraid I'll get rejected or he'll feel all awkward or something. Should I wait for him to say something? I really like him, and I've never had a boyfriend before, and I'm starting to get kinda lonely since even my sister has had a wonderful bf for almost a year now. Please, please help me! I'm really confused! ;_;

Sometimes, you have to take a risk, go out on a limb, and just tell the person you liek how you feel about them. I know it's scary, and even though you might have a tough exterior, it must be terrifying being so vulnerable. So take it slow, you should probably give him some hints, like flirt with him, or ask him to hang out with you outside of church. Feeling lonely is normal, because almost everyone wants to feel needed and loved, it's an instinct within us, so if he fulfills this lonliness you have inside, you should just tell him. Maybe be like, "So, have you ever had a girlfriend" and whatever he says you could say, "well, have you ever thought about us dating? because I like you..."
Anything like that, but definetly ask him to hang out with you, one on one.

hi guys.

so.... i'm very attracted to women. i date a lot of girls and with what i've heard i'm a pretty likable guy (i.e. girls like me). but lately i've found myself to be attracted to guys too... and the thought of getting sexual with a man seems to arouse me just as much as getting sexual with a woman...

so, am i bi/metro/whatever.... or do you think it's just a phase? to be honest, i feel like i'd be ok with being bi. i'm no homophobe; in fact i have quite a few gay friends. but i don't know if i for sure am bi though.... but if i am i don't know how i would tell anyone. i'd feel really scared to tell anyone i think (i go to an all-male catholic school)... and god knows what my girlfriend would think...

I think you already answered you're own question :] If you're okay with being bi and it doesn't bother you, then you have a ways to go to think about who you're attracted to, wether it be the same sex, opposite, or both. You're only 16 yuh know, so it might be a phase, or it might not, but whatever makes you happy, you should be true to. And remember, you don't have to tell anybody anything if you don't want to. Well this is really kind of weird..
i saw this kid at an after school program (15/f) and i can't really explain it, but when i saw him i felt drawn to him? he's not the cutest kid ever, but there was just something about him. I see him like literally everywhere in school. i can tell he's really shy and kind of a loner,which is the exact opposite of me. But for some reason i cant stop thinking about him? I dont even know his name,haha.He held the door for me the other day,and everytime he sees me he looks away? I know this sounds really rideculous but i think we're like ment for eachother (haha this is so corny..!) Should i talk to him? And has this ever happend to you? I'm so confused why i'm feeling this way about a complete stranger, any takes on this? To be honest,i never liked guys that were shy and quite. That's not wierd at all ! I believe in fate and spiritual types of things, so if you're drawn to this guy, you need to act on the feeling :] You should say hi to him sometime and strike up a conversation, he could turn out to be someone who's meant for you, in a boyfriend or friendship sense. It hasn't actually happened to me yet, but I kept getting drawn back to this one guy ... a little different then you're situation, but I just let it happen :] This can be really different for you since your liking of guys are ones with more vibrant personalities, but once you get to know this guy, he might surprise you.
I think you should most definetly talk to him, you're lucky to have this happen to you. Who knows, if you goout on a limb and talk to him, a couple months, years ... later, he could turn out to be your soulmate :] ! good luck, hope I helped, xxo.

I used to do that all the timee ! and I didn't ahve long nails for a while, I did it when I was bored, so i tried to keep myself occupied. But mostly, I brough a nail filer with me and when i ahd the urge to pick some off, i just filed them a little bit instead, you can also try to concentrate on things other than your nails, like pick at an eraser or something, i nwo that sounds silly, but it works. but the nail filer thing helped me stop :] hope i helped and good luck with your nails :] xxo
