He is too old to be interested in you. This is borderline disgusting to me. It's not that he's too old for you, it's that you're too young for him. [ Matt's advice column | Ask Matt A Question ]

I know it wouldn't have bothered me a bit to date someone that much older. However, you should think about his side of it. How long do you think it will last? None of my guy friends are dating high school girls, and there's a reason for that. It's just really not a normal thing within our group of friends. So I think it depends on HIS social life, and how well you will fit into it. If nothing else, you could go on a date or two and see how well it works out. Good luck and much love.

Do you think he's too old for you, because I can tell that you are having some doubts and second-guessing yourself. In my opinion, I think that in some situations, age is just a number, but because you are so young [and so am i, im only 16] you should probably just keep it friendly for now. Yeah, it seems cool to have a boyfriend thats 5 years older than you, but you can be pressured into doing things you don't want to do and you have to remember that you can't do as many legal things as he can, so that's where the age difference might come in as a conflict. But that's just my opinion, so I hope you make the right decision! good luck ! hope I helped ... xxo :] [ itdependsonyoux3's advice column | Ask itdependsonyoux3 A Question ]
