The site was down for several days as we switched to a new server. In the process, the automatic scripts cleared the mod list because no one was able to update their columns... we realize that this is an issue, and I've been able to restore a small number of mods, though clearly not all of us. As people realize that the site is up and start posting again, their mod status will return.
Give it some time, and it'll correct itself. On top of that, I think the script for mod determination will change from a one-week window to a two-week window to keep things a little more stable.

well, not all gyms are the same size... now, the indoor track that was around my high school's gym was an eigth of a mile, so 8 laps per mile - you can probably use that as a very rough approximation. If you are running just around the basketball court itself, then this distance is much smaller.. in fact, I'd guesstimate that 10 laps might be a mile, but still could be short of a mile.

depends on the type of birth control... could be a pill, could be an implant, could be opening up your innards and tying off the fallopian tubes (no, really).
Some doctors will require blood work.
Many places will first require a pregnancy test.
All depends on where you go and what type of control you are given.

if you are worried about the possiblity of disease trasnmission, or that birthcontrol isn't 100% effective, then yes. If you're willing to take the risk that the birth control will work (I know 2 women who were on the pill and got pregnant), and you don't have to worry about STD's... then that's your call.

My boyfriend and I just had sex for the first time..He took my virginity. It was unprotected and Im not sure if he pulled out or not. We were both a little drunk. I dont regret it. Anyway, I was told that you shouldn't have unprotected sex for 15 days after your last period ended. Its only been 10 days. Im a little worried that, well basically, I could become pregnant. Im not sure if the 15 day thing is true. Im going to the health clinic in a couple days to get on birth control and they always give you a pregnancy test. ANY sex without protection puts you at risk of getting pregnatnt... those number of days people quote - that's not real. I'm not kidding... not real at all. Every girl ovulates at a different time from the onset or end of her period. "15 days" doesn't mean shit, it isn't reliable. You should be scared because what you did was not smart.

Is there anything bad for you in Diet Sodas? I know they say regular sodas are bad for you because they have so much sugar, but since diet sodas have none, does that mean they're fine for you? Is it okay if you have one or more a day? Or is there other bad stuff for you in there? (link)

Many diet sodas still contain a crapload of caffeine. Also, there is still debate on the artificial sweeteners used in diet pop. Some of the artificial sweeteners, like Splenda, can cause diarrhea and stomach discomfort. Nutrasweet is made of two amino-acids... typically they are in small doses in the body, and are fine... but in diet pop, you get a huge amount of them, which has lead to some controversy and, unfortunately, poorly run studies on the effect and bad media coverage.
It is also very possible to be allergic to the artificial sweeteners.

Ugh, this is so discusting, but how do you get rid of dead skin cells on your face, like after you have a pimple or somthing, without having to go out and buy somthinggggg i mean i have great moisturizer but during the day my makeup becomes all flaky and suck and i dooo not likkke ittt attt alllll!!! hahaha...I'm so frustrtaed, also, what can you do for a scab thats on your face, fast, I use neosporin but it doesnt work that well, ughh im so mad at myselffff =(

wash with something that will exfoliate your skin, like noxema. keep the area well moisturized after you dry it. neosporin is good to use at night, but not during the day.

I would suggest you just let him know that you like talking to him, and that the two of you have never met, so it is hard to accept that he "likes" you because of that. Assure him that you absolutely want to continue chatting with him, but that maybe you have difficulty accepting emotional attachment woth someone you are physically so distant from.

If you want to lift yourself out of the funk, then listen to up-beat thigns... heck, listen to something funky, or even lively classical music, or bebop jazz or something that moves fast and is just bright and happy sounding.

What's the big deal? Who cares what some ex-boyfriend's name was. That has absolutely no relevance to the baby, no relevance to their relationship. I mean, they ARE married, yes? stop practicing so often, take a break for a week or so, then come back to it... try jamming with other people, or invite others you know to jam with you. Look into lessons, even if informal. Practice on your own, apart from the band. Play in the dark, so that you are forced to listen to each other as you all play. During a practice, switch instruments, just to see what it is like.
The most important thing that so many forget about is this: if you're in a band, and it's not fun, then why are you in the band?
Edit: what I said applies to the singer - practice less, play in the dark, try picking up a guitar - even if you're horrible at it, do it for fun. Jam with other musicians - it is a great way to learn - sing songs that you normally would never sing. Listen to a broader range of styles and try to find ways to apply it all to what you want to do in this band. It all works, I've been in enough bands to know.

Like all forms of Hep, it is very contagious. You should get a blood test done to see if you've contracted it. It can cause severe liver damage.
