I asked the question about being bored. Thanks for your answer but what do you mean by "running Civilization"?
Oh lol, its a computer game which i was running in the background. Sid Meier's Civilization to give the full name. Version 3 to be exact... there are 4 but my graphics card doesnt want to run the latest :(
Great game, you take a civilization from 4000bc through to modern times. One of the greatest all time pc classics, and the ultimate egomaniac game of empire building :)
if i only eat fruit and energy bars and drink water a lil soda and energy drinks will i gain weight or lose it..pls dont talk about how that isent heathy..thankyou
The only answer to your question is: Depends on how much you eat vs how much you burn. In other words, you need a negative calorie balance. You can gain weight on fruit and energy bars (which are predominantly carbs) almost as easily as anything else.
So I wouldnt say its a good diet idea (not taking into account that it isn't healthy). Its easier to lose weight when you intake substantial amounts of protein (which are harder for your body to digest, and which can help prevent muscle loss). This carb intensive idea does not sound too good to me.
I am always really ,really ******* bored!!!!!!I get much more bored than any other person on the face of this ******* earth!!!!!!!!I don't understand why no one else gets as bored as me!!!I am bored enough to kill myself!!!!!!!!!I would do that but I know suicide is not an option, but dying is still a calming thought. Why am I so ******* bored?????????What the **** should I do????????????
Ok asking for suicide advice here is not so bright. First it can get anyone who answers you into trouble, secondly it will get your question erased pretty soon.
As for the bored part, I can relate. I was my mother's worst nightmare as a child because I was constantly bored. Dont get me wrong, I enjoy doing all sorts of stuff, but if I dont keep myself constantly occupied (and I mean every second) the instant I stop I am bored again. I dont know if its exactly what you have, but I reckon its pretty close.
The only way I could ever get over it was to overload my senses. Even now, I am typing this message, while running Civilization in the background, watching TV, and cooking dinner (and I have only been home 20 minutes). Thats normal everyday life for me. That way, when the tv bores me I take a turn in Civ, in the meantime I think about what to say to you, etc etc. I dont give my mind time to get bored.
Sometimes I think people trivialise boredom. Usually its those people who dont understand what a burden it can be. Comments like "only boring people get bored" really miss the mark completely (in fact I think its often the other way around).
Anyway, you need to find your own solution somehow. In my case it led to abuse of all sorts of substances in my youth (ranging from food to smokes to stronger stuff). Needless to say none of that was a good solution and led to years of problems. So, get active, find the sort of things that keep you interested and pack your life full of them. Apart from my daily routine I also know I am never bored during certain activities (e.g. sports, certain social events etc). My life is as full of those sort of things as can be. I suggest you do the same.
Alternatively, if you really continue to be suicidal, I would recommend you get some help. Talking to a professional is never a bad idea when one has those kind of destructive thoughts.
Good luck.
does running help get rid of a stomach?
Im not sure I agree with either of the answers below. Running has a few benefits over walking. First you burn calories faster (time wise), which means that you can accomplish in 30 mins what might take well over twice that amount walking. Secondly, and probably most importantly, walking does not elevate your heart rate into the optimal training zone (except for more elderly people). That means walking does not have the same cardiovascular benefits as running.
The only advantage to walking is that you are less likely to get injured. You do not use more muscles walking.
Now, the answer to your question is yes. It can help, and exercise wise its one of the best things you can do. However, whether you actually lose fat or not depends upon what you eat (since you still require a negative calorie balance).
Since fat loss cannot be spot reduced (targetted) it is also a heck of a lot better than doing crunches.
So, you are on the right track. Just watch what you eat and you will do just fine.
Are you suppossed to shave when you go see a guyno?
Im really the wrong person to ask (so please do run this by a female as well), but I dont think its mandatory or anything...
ohkay well i was just wondering, when you go to give a guy a hand job, or head, do they get "hard" right away? or like what happens. cause dont you have to be hard to get head and a hand job and have sex?
Ok when it happens depends on the guy and the situation. The more recently that the guy has been sexually active, the older the guy is, and the more nervous he is, the longer it may take for him to become erect. Similarly, the more turned on he is, the less time it will take. And just because its a reflex action, sometimes it will totally surprise you (and the guy himself) and act in a totally unpredicatable manner.
You dont have to be hard for either oral sex or a hand job, those are actually means that can be used to get a guy erect.
You do have to be hard for sexual intercourse.

I just got a membership at a local gym with my mom. They have all kinds of machines, so many that I don't know what to do. I'm planning on going 3-5 times a week for about an hour. What are some routines I could try? Like if I should stay on one machine the whole time or alternate and switch machines a few times. I want to have an efficient and effective workout while I'm there.
Ok pretty much whatever your goals are, stay away from the machines. The best things in that gym... in any gym, are free weights. Machines are designed to isolate specific muscles and this is counterproductive particularly for a beginner. I know the temptation is to use all the fancy equipment, but bottom line you get worse results with them, and you dont hit all the stabilizer muscles.
So, good solid gym routines should be based around compound free weight exercises. Compound moves involve multiple muscle groups, and will get you the best results. Here are a list of a few good exercises:
Chest:
Bench press
Chest dips
Flat or incline dumbbell press
Shoulders/ traps:
Military press
Dumbbell press
Upright rows
Back:
Deadlift (this hits most of your upper body actually... essential exercise)
Rows (dumbbell, barbell)
Pullups (or pulldowns)
Legs:
Squat (the king of all exercises)... comes in many variants
Romanian or stiff leg deadlifts
Biceps:
Barbell or dumbbell curls
Hammer curls
Triceps:
Narrow grip bench press
Skullcrushers
Tricep extensions
Ok now here is a site that will show you how to do them:
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/exercises.htm
As for how to train, well first you need to decide how to divide your body up. That will determine the frequency and intensity of training. You can do full body routines, two day splits, three day splits etc etc. Here is a generic two day split example. Such a routine would be trained twice a week for a total of 4 days:
Day1: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps
Day2: Back, Legs, Biceps, Abs
Once you have decided how to split the body (and I encourage you to seek guidance in this matter), then you need a light intro program. I would recommend for the first 8 weeks or so training not to failure, and doing 8- 12 reps per exercise. So Day1 in the above split might be:
Bench press: 3x 8- 12 (in other words 3 sets of 8 to 12 repetitions each... with a break of 1.5- 2 mins or so between each set)
Incline Press: 2x 8- 12
Military press: 3x 8- 12
Upright rows: 2x 8- 12
Skullcrushers: 3x 8- 12
This is just a suggestion where I used two exercises for each of the big muscle groups (chest and shoulders) and one exercises for the triceps. Its pretty non intensive and it leaves a lot of freedom to learn the movements and hopefully avoid injuries. Im not saying this is gospel mind you, I do not have much experience with beginners.
Anyway, best of luck. Hope this is of use to you. It probably seems confusing as hell, but ease into it (maybe get some help as well), and you will soon learn the ropes.
EDIT: Btw, what the person above who criticised me said is absolutely incorrect. This is perfectly good for a girl. Most girls at the gym waste their time (as can be seen by the routine above). This routine will not make you beef up. It takes years to put on pounds of muscles... you wont wake up tomorrow and realise you are a bodybuilder.
The routine above neglects the major muscle groups and focuses on small muscles that are of little use to you. Believe me on this, I can show you stunning looking, fit women, who train the major compound exercises.
And deadlifts do not screw your back. None of these exercises will, unless done with incorrect form. What you are getting above is a gym myth, made by people who trained poorely their whole lives. The fact is that people who deadlift, squat and do romanian deadlifts, will have stronger healthier backs. Its the exact opposite way around ffs.
You get nothing from the routine above, apart from the cardio. Almost literally nothing. And btw, you cannot "tone" anything without putting on some muscle. Thats what the routine above tries to do, it just neglects everything that might be useful/ healthy.
I work for a solicitor in a town in Australia. This morning my boss came out to me and another work mate and told us that we may have to start looking for new jobs in the next few weeks.
He told us that he's going to have to close the business because he will be declared bankrupt if he can't do anything about it before the 16th of April!
I don't want to lose my job, I love working here! The girls are great, I like the work, but we are struggling for money every week to pay us!
Is there anyway at all that I could possibly do something to help my boss keep his business going?
I feel so sorry for him, he has no family and his life is dedicated to this place! I just want to help him out.
Any suggestions? Thank you so much!
Just a warning, this is the pessimistic view.
Ok you know, if he is about to file for bankruptcy it might take a lot more money than you think. If you even raise enough to pay everyone's wages for a couple of months, that isn't necessarily going to keep the company afloat.
The fund raiser idea is ok, but I wonder how much it can raise. Ideally an outside investor or partner would be ideal, but that requires someone who believes that your problems are only temporary. Selling stocks is probably not an option either, since he either exhausted that avenue or the company is not listed.
You should talk to your boss and see if he has any thoughts. It might also help to get an idea of the kind of figures you are dealing with.
There is one other thing I think you should consider, just to save you some trouble potentially. Do you know why the company is going belly up? As I see it, its one of three possibilities: 1. Its a temporary problem (a recent run of bad luck, a new start-up company etc.); 2. The company is not competitive enough (either due to the quality of the service or poor financial management); 3. The company/ product is inadequately marketed.
If its the latter two, then an infusion of cash will only delay the inevitable, unless of course something drastic is done in that time. Somehow the firm needs to generate new clients, or to cut costs. Typically that implies a restructuring of the current business processes (which could mean layoffs), new strategies particularly within marketing, and so on.
What I am getting at is that you should evaluate whether or not there is any chance that the company can be saved by the money you might raise. Otherwise you will be using a lot of time to buy yourselves a couple of months of work.
Anyway, I wish you luck. I hope that you can find a solution, but I must admit I am not overly optimistic.
So I'm deciding to go on an extreme diet and exercise plan in 1 week. I'm going on this plan for 2 weeks. I'll be hitting the gym at least 4 days a week for about 2 hours a day. And I'll be eating stuff like chicken alone without rice and bread with some butter. Will it work? I plan to eat 2 meals (breakfast and dinner alone).
how much lbs can I lose? I am 195lbs right now and I really want to lose about 8lbs. I want to lose more but if i lose about 8 my body will hopefully reshape and 'toughen' up!
Ok dont take offence, but this is not a good idea. I will explain why its bad, and then at the end I will include a link to a similar question if you want to work out a proper diet plan (if not, just ignore the link).
First off in fitness and weight loss, nothing is achieved very very quickly. To start with, you should never lose over 2lbs or so per week, any more is not healthy. Secondly if you do a crash diet, you will lose muscle more than fat, and this will result in anything but toughening up.
Eating rarely is also completely counterproductive in weight loss (see my link). Suffice it to say that your program of nutrient deprivation and rare meals will lead to your metabolism slowing down. This will hamper your weight loss efforts and, once again, your body will favour digesting muscle over fat.
Finally, when starting an exercise program its a good idea to ease into it and give your body time to adapt. There is no point to overtraining, that will only hamper your efforts. So, start with mild cardios and light weight rountines. Also to avoid injury btw.
Ok thats all the stuff you should not do (i.e. more or less the entire program unfortunately). Now here is a look into what you could do.
http://www.advicenators.com/qview.php?q=456585
Check out my answer there, it should help give you some ideas.
Remember, you need to give yourself time for this. Results that last never come in a couple of weeks.
Good luck.
ok so im trying to be a healthier person - not necessarily trying to lose weight but i wouldnt mind slimming down some. anyway im trying to follow the food pyramid (or maybe thats not a good way to go?). i havent been so strict about it because it seems like i dont eat enough meals to get in all the types of food im supposed to... i would eat more spaced out meals but on weekdays i cant. i leave for school at 7 so i eat at about 6:30, my lunch is at about 11, and i have practice after school and dont get home till around 5, and dinner is usually around 6 or 6:30.
so, for a typical days meal, is this good? sorry if its a lot to ask but if you happen to know a good meal plan for a typical day that would be great.
breakfast:
2 scrambled eggs with a slice of american cheese melted in, 2 pieces of whole grain toast, a glass of skim milk
lunch:
peanut butter and jelly on 2 pieces of whole grain bread, a handful of mini carrots, a handful of wheat thins, and a half pint of water
snack:
banana and water
dinner: (i dont have much authority with this meal so i might have to work around it, but here is a common one in my house)
pasta with tomato sauce and 2 meatballs, a bowl of spinach salad with cucumbers, carrots, croutons, and a little italian dressing, a glass of milk
also - im not sure if this is a good idea, but im trying to limit the drinks i have to water and milk. i love milk and i of course have to watch calcium intake, and then i always try to hydrate myself with water for sports and such.
sorry that was so long. thank you!
Well the following the food pyramid is a lot better than what most people do with their diets. However, I often find the concept to be a bit vague in that it often does not differentiate between different types of foods (grains, dairy etc).
Right off the top of my head I can make some recommendations regarding your diet.
First off the traditional 3 meal layout is not ideal, as you realised. The body responds better to a meal plan ranging from 4 to 6 meals. It does not take a lot to fit those in. Try to fit in a small meal before practice during the weekdays. I really dont like the break from 11 to 6.30 without any food. What I would do is take a small meal at around 15 (maybe take a small container of cottage cheese and a piece of fruit to school as an example) and I would take a whey shake right after practice. Then, I would also work in a small meal at 21.30 or so.
In the very least, if you really cant find time to eat, get your hands on some whey protein. A shake and some fruit here and there is something at least, and better than just fruit and water.
Secondly, relative to your protein intake, your carbs seem to be rather high. Lunch for example has very little protein. I would drop the wheat thins and instead add a small good low fat protein source of some kind. If you can work some sort of meal before practice, I would remove one of the slices of bread from lunch as well (or just move it to that meal). I would drop the milk at dinner also in favour of eating something later that evening. This is just to balance out the calories and nutrients a little bit more.
Your drink idea is a very good initiative. Water should be the primary thing that one drinks so you are on the right track here.
Now, one last thing, I am a little unsure about is your intake of essential fatty acids. You seem to get a fair amount of omega 6 from the peanut butter, eggs and probably the italian dressing. However, I see very little omega 3. Your fat intake should not be increased much, but rather substituted a little.
Good sources of omega 3 include: oily fish, flax (seeds or oil), walnuts, canola, etc. Eggs can be a decent source depending on what the chickens are fed (usually that means free range eggs have good values and industrial farmed ones do not).
Its really important to have a small regular amount of omega 3. Deficiency in this fat is associated with all sorts of health problems, and even (oddly enough) obesity.
Ok, hope that makes some sense. You are certainly on the right track, and you should be proud of the initiative you are taking.
Good luck.
Edit: and remember a multi vitamin in the morning as well.
Well can you get preganent from having sex with another girl?? Iunno Any way in the world that this could happen?
No
ok i write alot of poems about my good/bad life experiences and i read them to my friends. all of the friends that i have read them to say that i should get them published. im not trying to be cocky but i do think that my poems are good too. my question is who could i send my poems into so that they can get published, or even looked at by a professional? also i am 14f if that helps. lol thanks in advance
XOXO
DearAbby suggestion is very good. I just wanted to comment on poetry.com so you dont make the mistake of posting there. Those guys are a bunch of cheats, and what they do is they will lie to you. They will tell anyone who subimts anything that their poem is brilliant. Then they will ask you to order the anthology you will be put in. If you dont pay the money, they remove your poem. The book is not sold anywhere else, as far as anyone could determine, they just take the cash from gullible aspiring poets thats all.
I fell for their crap back years ago. Its a money making scam basically, where they deceive you in varying degrees all the way through. Just so you know. Edit: and as you can see with the answer above mine, its pretty widespread. Here is a link to a more detailed explanation:
http://www.eliteskills.com/writing_scams/poetry.com.scam.php
You can also find legitimate contests online. You need to research a little, and avoid the things that usually pop up at the top of the page e.g. poetry.com.
Otherwise years ago I was part of a poetry group on deviantart.com. They had a number of people there that would look at and critique your work (but you needed to find them and join the community if memory serves to avoid the usual "hey dats a funky poem" kind of comment). Then they would have weekly exercises where you submit a poem according to a specific form and stuff like that. Might be worth looking into.
Good luck.
In Counter Strike, I am at a complete loss at how to use the AK47. The recoil is way too much for me, but it's the only Terrorist gun that's good that I've found. If I could master the art of the AK, I'd be a better rounded player.
Help?
Yes I couldnt agree more. I remember back at the beginning I had the same problem. Of course that was when CS first came out, so back then you could fall back on the mp5 (it was more effective than today and very few people could hit you while strafing... it was a a simpler time lol).
Anyway, mastering the AK is vital. Today, 6 years down the line or whatever, I often prefer it to the m4. I did two things to learn the gun back in 1.5. First I went in to play aim maps, particularly aim_ak_colt and aim_map (for two different ranges). I stayed on the T side religiously (in the first map), getting my behind kicked for ages. Then, the other important thing is I watched the good players very carefully, and copied what they did. I got blasted for a couple of weeks, then things turned around.
So here are some general tips (some are obvious as hell but bear with me):
- Learn to stay calm while using that gun, and to control your burst to firing two or three shots at a time.
- As with all guns, but particularly with the AK you got to be standing still when you fire. So that whole fire 2- 3 rounds, strafe two steps, fire 2-3 rounds, etc thing is what you will see most of the good guys doing.
- There is one technique where you aim a tiny bit above the head and then pull the crosshairs down (slightly... not lower than his upper chest area) as you fire a burst of two or three rounds. Works best for crouched players.
- Also learn to predict the AK spray at very close range. If you learn where to spray below the head you can get loads of kills. Again... only at very close range.
Learning where to aim is the most important step. Depending on how you fire, you aim at a different area of the body. So watch the good players on the aim maps and then copy what they do. Dont worry about dying or looking like a dork lol, just stay calm and keep at it.
Good luck
i smoked weed two times in the last week. i didnt get high either times. the first time didnt have ANY effect on me and the second time they said i was " blazed " QUESTION ONE : how long will it last in my system ? QUESTION TWO : why didnt i get high ? QUESTION THREE : what does it mean to be blazed?
Ok I can tackle two of the questions.
1. I have read conflicting stuff on this. But we can say at least 1 month to the best of my knowledge.
2. When I was young and not so bright, I did the same thing you did. And I also did not get high the first 5 times or so. Its not a terribly uncommon thing, I think the brain needs to interpret the high.
I could guess nr 3, but I will leave it in the hands of someone who knows for sure.
I do want to add one thing. Why are you doing this? Its an uneccessary risk. I can tell you that I paid for it in a really serious way. I was smoking so much I even went to my university exams stoned.
I wont lie to you, a number of people get away without too many problems. But many dont, and I have a number of close friends who have thrown their lives away in a puff of smoke. In my case, I ended up in hospital at the age of 25 or so thinking I was going nuts. Luckily it was a mild psychosis and it passed.
You have tried this stuff now, and you arent hooked or anything. Do the smart thing and dont expose yourself any further. There are so many worthwhile risks in life and this is not one of them.
Hey im a girl who is 16 years old. And i hang with a buch of preppy girl's. They are super nice but they have one prob. They smoke !! And now they want me to. I mean it seems real cool and stuff but i know its bad for you. so can you help ??? cuz i need it!!!
Love,
Under peer preasure
Its not real cool. Believe me, as an ex heavy smoker let me tell you its not a good habit to have. You have already heard of the health risks (cancer etc), but there are also so many other small surprises along the way. Such as waking up in the morning and having a coughing fit which results in spitting out gobs of slime (regular occurance after a few years). Or having your teeth yellow really fast. Or bad breath, and countless other little things like this. And on top of it all, its one expensive habit.
The only way I can help is by letting you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that starting to do this is one of the worst ideas you could have. You cannot conceive how addictive smoking is. Quiting it was the hardest thing I ever did. Most black market narcotics are not as addicitive.
Beyond this it is up to you to realise that your future well being depends upon this decision. No friend should push you into this. If they do then either they are not really your friend or they are truly ignorant to the risks.
Remember you are your own person. Dont ever do anything you dont feel comfortable with because of pressure from others. Be strong and you will be better off (in general not just in this case). Dont make excuses, make a stand, and let them know in no uncertain terms that you cannot ever be budged once you have made up your mind. If they say anything, tell them politely and firmly "no". You dont need to explain to why, since you do not answer to them. Make them understand this.
Good luck.
How is water good for your body? People always say drink 8 glasses of water but noone can accomplish it and it doesn't even give you any vitamins or protein!
Here is a site that shows some benefits.
http://www.dietinfo.us/Water1/water1.html
You drink water not for nutrition as such, but rather because it is one of the most essential building blocks of the human body. Drinking the required amount is not so hard once you try to get used to it. The trick is to always have a water bottle around and sip from it.
Ok I just want to know some stuff about drinking:
how do people pass out from it?
Drinking how much is ok?
why do people pee in their pants when they're drunk?
and what does a hang over feel like and how do you know that it's a hangover?
Ok...
1. Im not sure what you mean by how... but its no different than going unconscious. I tried it once when I was 19 or so. Dont remember a thing, but I hear I was out cold. Alcohol essentially is a poison which makes you high. Your body can only tolerate so much, and can react a little unpredictably to it as well.
2. Alcohol actually has beneficial properties in very small amounts. So, healthy drinking might be 1 glass of wine or something like that. Where I live they warn men not to drink more than 21 "units" of alcohol per week (1 of these units is roughly equal to one 33cl beer) and women no more than 14. This is an approximation of course, and pertains to adults (for youngsters it would be less).
3. Never tried it, hope I never will. The reason is probably cause you lose control of you bladder. Getting really really drunk makes you lose control of a lot of things.
4. Horrible, but it varies. It can include nausea, headaches, fatigue, etc. You know its a hangover cause it happens the morning after drinking lol. There is no mistaking it let me tell you.
hi,i am looking for a nice and hot girl for marriage, but when ever i saw a girl infront of me,i just cant ask her and my toung start mumbling,,,becouse i dont have courage to ask a girl becouse everytime a thing got scared me that if she say somthing to me or if i got a negative feedback then what i would do,i never ask a girl before i am still virgin,i am now 24,so what should i do,? sum time i ashamed my self that i dont have any girl friend,i know i m a hot guy,and all girls look at me when ever i passed them in way,but i cant ask them i just smile and thats it,, lol.. realy tell me what should i do,
Ok, this may well qualify as one of our strangest questions. How about not thinking about marriage, or sex, and just asking a girl you like out for night in town (or something like that, whatever you like to do in your spare time).
Then, without really thinking about the future implications or your virginity, just go and have some fun. Eventually you will hopefully meet some girl you connect with well enough to consider marriage. But, until then, I think you need to take the pressure off yourself, and just let things happen naturally. Talk, laugh, have some fun... and see if it leads to anything.
So I want to eat more protein becaise I heard that it helps your hair grow faster. I also want to lose a few pounds before summer. I dont want a really strict diet; I just want to eat healthy foods. What are some good meals for breakfast? I really like eggs. So if you have ideas of meals that I could use eggs in. Also, I could use a list of foods high in protein.
When I exercise, I usually run/walk 1.5 miles. and bike 1 mile. Than I usually do some exercises with weights for my arms.
Is this good enough? I kind of want to get a toned body, not just stay in the shape I am. Im 14, 120 pounds, and 5 foot 3.
Thanks
Good protein sources (that are low in everything else):
Lean meat, chicken, turkey (both skinless), egg whites, protein shakes (whatever kind, but whey is best in most cases), low fat cottage cheese, tuna, skim milk (though this one has a fair amount of carbs).
Breaksfast stuff thats good for you includes: oats, skim milk, low fat yoghurt, eggs (though easy on the yolks since the have a lot of fat, supplement with just whites), whole wheat bread, fruit.
You can of course also go for something less traditional... how about a chicken breast egg white omlete, with one yolk and a slice of whole wheat toast. Just a thought.
Your exercise routine is so-so. I think the cardio could be increased a bit. As for the weights, the more muscles you work the better it is. I would try to go for a more full body workout there. It doesnt have to take long. Get in some big exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench press, shoulder press etc.
About a week a go i was on the phone with my boyfriend of 3 months ( who, by the way told me he was planning on "spending the rest of his life with me") when we started talking about serious things that were going on in our relationship. Out of no where he tells me that hes been online talking to other girls about sex, and even using his webcam to masturbate while they watched him. Along with that he wouldnt stop lying to me. At first he told me it was just one girl. the next day it was two, then three. Every little thing was a lie. When i asked him about this all he could say was "thats a problem i have, when im talking about some thing big that im nervous about i some times lie a little" Now, even though we were only together for three months i fell in love with him. The night we broke up i told him to never talk to me again and to stay out of my life. well, i was doing fine... for the next two days, until he IM'd me saying "please talk to me" and we started talking again. It hasnt even been a full week yet but ive gotten back with im like 3 times then decided to be friends, with a couple of "i hate you. leave me alone. never talk to me again" conversations. Yesterday when i went up to talk to him he said "well what do you want to do between us?" and i said "i dont know, what do you want to do?" and he said "i just want to do what ever's gonna make you happy...but i would really like to be with you" so i told him that we would try to make it work one more time and told him this was it and i wouldnt change my mind again. Then last night he calls me and says "so we're quote-unquote friends, right?" and all i could say was "i dont know" I thought i had made it clear i wanted to be with me but it seems like hes just rejecting me. Maybe i didnt make it clear enough or maybe he just doesnt want to be with me. It seems like he never really loved me all the times he said he did and that hes trying to avoid me right now. All I could see is that he's taking the breakup way better than i am. I cant get him out of my head. My friends are sick of hearing about it and they hate the fact that im with him for 45 minutes then call it quits again then get back with him the next day. I dont know what to do. Its all so confusing because Ive never felt this way before. Im 15 and hes 17 so its not like it was "meant to be" or anything like that but he truely had me believing it was just by the way he would talk about "our future" together. Everyone is telling me im a drama queen and i need to get over it, but its not that easy. He was the only person i could talk to in my life. im not close with my parents, i dont have that many friends,so i dont have 'close friends' im just too shy to go out and meet new people, so he was the best thing i had going in my life and in a way i thought hed always be there for me (because he told me he would) and i really depended on him for a lot of things. now it just seems like my whole life is falling apart and i dont know what i should do. please help me.
Ok the reason you are putting up with this is stated clearly at the bottom of your text. You dont have a lot of friends etc etc. The thing is, this relationship is no good for you. Anyone who makes a habit of lying is not really worth your time.
I have a hunch that this guy has begun to understand what he can get away with here. He is off having his fun, then when the time is right he reels you back in. Im not saying that he may or may not have deeper feelings for you, I dont know about that. But its pretty clear that what he is acting on first and foremost are his desires, not concern for you.
Your friends are probably tired of hearing about this because they cant understand why you are putting yourself through it. I know how hard it can be to fall for the wrong person, its a real hearbreaker. However, the fact of the matter is that the only way to overcome it is to not have contact with that person. There really is no other way. Its like a drug. You have to go cold turkey, the minute you take just a little bit, you are hooked again.
I know things suck right now, and there isnt anything concrete I can say to make you feel better. All I can tell you is you need a clean break. Then you need to get out there and try to make more friends. Just cause you dont have the right people in your life at the moment does not mean you need to settle for someone who hurts you.
Good luck. I hope you get over this as smoothly as possible. If it makes you feel any better (and i doubt it will), something like this will always feel worse than it actually is when you are going through it. In reality things are rarely as hopeless as they seem.
