Hey everyone!My name is Brina,I've been on this site for a few years, after not being on for a while, I figured I'd start up again, having more knowledge then before! I'm 19 years old and am going to be a sophomore in college this coming fall! Please feel free to ask me anything!

Five minutes ago, I was trying to talk to my aunt and all of a sudden, my mom bursts in our convo and starts yelling at me asking "Why didn't you ask me!??!" "Don't talk to me like that!" She didn't give me a chance to talk so she kept yelling and so I yelled back and then she blamed me for things I didn't do! She totally humiliated me infront of my aunt! This always happens! What do I do to prevent this..and What can I do about the situation now? If you tell me to say sorry to my stupid-ass mom, I'll give you a 1. It seems like she wants attention, but whatever..help if you can..all 5's for reasonable answers.

Maybe your mom has some issues with your aunt? Most likely your mom is jelous that you talk to your aunt about stuff and not her. Try talking to your mom, you dont have to apologize at all if you didnt do anything wrong. Is your mom going through stuff at wokr or anything? If you find out if somethings wrong and if you want to help even though shes being a " stupid - a*s mom" maybe get her flowers or something and if she doesnt apreciate it then thats messed up. so lets call her summer.

me and summer have been friends for a couple months. but now summer is being mean and is really annoying and i just DONT like her anymore. the problem is i half to sit with her in health and i HATE it. shes really chubby and the boys tease her all of the time but she was mean before that. and im popular and she trys to fit in but shes not bcuz well shes MEAN. and now shes hitting on my boyfriend and its annoying. and shes extremely 2 faced and gossips all of the time. and im sick of it. so how do i tell her i dont want to be her friend? silent treatment? i rate high.

Na, thats kinda immature to give her the silent treatment. I would just tell her to stop being a meany and that she should get her own boyfriend. And if she's mad at you oh well she should hit on ur boyfriend. Good Luck

I can't seem to find and black cheerleading spandex shorts. You know, the kind that you wear underneath your cotton shorts? Where do you buy those? And what brand do you suggest?

I have a track meet friday, and last time i had one, i fell! and couldnt run for the rest of that meet. Well, like i said above, I have a Track Meet Friday, and I am soo scared!!! and I am so nervous, i have been since monday, no joke! and i have been thinking about it since then! i know it sounds crazy, but it sure is true!! SO, what are some things that i can do to distract myself from being nervous? I have a fear of falling too, i fell in the open 100M dash! and i have to do it again tomorrow, and also the open 200M dash! and i am fine w/ doing the 200, its the 100 i am nervous about. when i fell i dontknow what happened, and i only had scratches on my legs, not my hands or anything. so, i think i was breathing funny because i was nervous and blacked out. well, I also dont know weather or not to use the blocks. :/

My friend tripped a couple times at track meets but she just got up and kept going. Dont be nervous, just have fun! If you trip its not a big deal, its probably because u might have stepped on your own feet { thats happened to me before}. To distract yourself sing a song in your head while your running or think of someone you hate or dont like. Good Luck at your meet!

Okay, well I really liked this guy Chris. But then this guy Scott started to like me. Anyways I went on a date with Chris last night and now that I think about it I didn't have that muchf un with him. I don't even really like him that much it's liek since I can have him I'm bored of him. Anyways this otehr guy Scott I kind of like him a bit but I odn't know if I shoudl even start with him cuase I'm afraid I'll get bored with him to. i get bored with all guys but I don't know why does anyone else? I like this otehr guy but he's so out of my league so I just gave up. I don't really know what I'm asking I guess should I just stick with Chris since I gave him teh impression that I liked him or should I go for Scott or really try for teh guy I really like? And does anyone else get bored with every guy they date afetr like a few weeks? Or is it just me?

You probably get bored with guys because you dont have much in common with them. Get to know a guy for about a week before you start dating. If you dont have fun with chris then dont go out with him again. Go for whichever guy you have a good connection with.

okay..well my friend is going out with this guy that i like..i thought that i was doing the right thing by telling her this..i know it wasnt the best move..but i also said that i couldnt be bestfriends with someone who i like((this was all in an e-mail))..well a few days later her boyfriend told me online that she showed him the e-mail! i was so mad! i started crying..and i was on the phone with one of my friends and she couldnt believe it either...i cant believe my best friends judgement..we have been in arguments for awhile adn i think that i should draw the line here..what do you think? i really dont wanna be friends with someone who betrayed me like that..i just dont! and she has done things like this before...i really dont want to talk to her again..but our families are very close..i jsut dont know what to do..PLEASE help me!!

That is so shallow that she showed him the email. Advice for the future, dont say important private stuff on the computer because like what your friend did by showing someone that can happen again.
That is totally messed up what your " friend" did. I wouldnt be friends with her if she would do that because thats extremely immature. Your correct about not wanting to be friends with someone who betrayed you. I know about the whole friends family thing because my family has really close family friends, you dont have to hang out with her even if your families are close. Good luck girlie.

i like a kid, and like he is mean to me, and my friends asked him why he didnt like me, and he said cuz i'm stupid. but i'm not, i just say a lot of random stuff.but like everytime he talks to me hes all smiley, but the problem is that two other girls in my grade flirt with him. so i feel like i have a competition and then my other friend likes him, and she is closer with him, and i really want to go out with him.

Why would you want to go out with him if he's mean to you? But! Usually guys who are mean to a specific girl they like! So you probably have a chance but to find out if he says something mean be like do u like me or something cuz usually guys are bi*tches to girls when they like them. i feel like everyone around me has a boyfriend. i feel so alone and i really want to have the feeling of a boyfriend again. i feel as if everyone around me is moving so fast...one of my friends just did third base wih a guy. i am 14 and still haven't gotten my first kiss. i wish i could just find a guy.. what is taking sooo long!

Its alright that you dont have a boyfriend! Dont look at what other people are doing with there relationships. I'm fourteen also and i havent gotten my first kiss either. That certain guy will come to you. Dont try to rush into finding a relationship. Its alright if you dont have a boyfriend at this age. Thats kinda too much for your friend to be doing with a guy which im guessing she's ur age. Dont worry hun you'll get that guy and if not now then thats ok! Good Luck!

first of all, i apologize for the misspelling of 'skating', and the general idiotic appearance of the title. but it worked, didn't it? you came in here to correct me! :P

i am a 16 year-old rookie skater (female) who can't ollie yet.

i was at the skateboard-city.com forums, and this guy posts a rather mean post about how most of the girls that skate are posers, who skate to try to get with 'skater boys', or to get the whole 'skater punk rock' look.

whe someone calls you a poser, the first reaction is to deny it. so of course all of the female skaters on that site protested, but it made ME wonder...

am i a poser? i wish i could say no, but i honestly don't know. there are various reasons why i started to skate (about six mo. ago).

i can definitely say that i didn't start skateboarding because i thought the 'skater style' was hot or anything. i am a "girly-girl" however, i'm not so sure about the skater boy factor. what if i unconsciously DID start to skate because i wanted to meet skater boys? i know it's definitely true that i wanted to make some friends (regardless of gender) through skateboarding.

also the fact that skateboarding - just skateboarding around your town and on the streets itself looked "cool" was a part of the reason why i started. but is this necessarily bad? don't guys get inspired, after seeing a skating video, to do better because of how 'cool' it looks?

and, is it possible to start off as a poser (start skating to look cool or meet guys or whatever) but to change along the way?

You just have an interest in skateboaring.Thats stupid of a guy to say that the reasons he said were the reasons why girls skateboard. Its alright to board because of the hotties, and the coolness. Whateva floats ur boat lol. You can do anything you want even if someoen says you shouldnt {except doing drugs and stuff lol but thats off the topic} Just keep on doing something that you like to do!

Im actually starting to hang out with the people ive wanted to for about two years. I talk to them online and at school. They have a group of 4 people and if I join, it would feel weird becasue it seems to me like i would be brakng into their group when they might not want anymore friends in it. Im best friends with someone who is close with them and the only time i hang out with their group is when that best friend of mine asks us all to. I want to plan something on my own and i have talked to one of the girls about it she said it would be fun but how do i know if she says that to everyone who asks her to do something. Should i go for something that i dont know would work out but truley really want it to, or is their no point in even trying? How do I let the person know that i want to be in their group with out actually saying those exact words?

Its great that your starting to get the friends you want! So, i would say after you hang out once say to them, i had a blast with you guys maybe we can hang out more often. That should deffinitly make them understand that you want to be good friends with them. Good Luck Hun!

Hey. Does your boyfriend know your not supposed to have a boyfriend?Anyways, how about you pretend to break up with him but you just continue staying with him, meanwhile people will think your broken up! My cousin is staying over my house for like 2 months and in the begining i thought i wasn't giving my sis any time with her but now i feal like they are leving me out of the picture. I was just in the room they are in and they sorta kicked me out, now i can hear them just laughing away. i don't know what to do and i know i sound really selfish but i want some atention from her to. should i say anything or just leave it alone?
what should i do?

Invite a couple of your friends over, and while you guys are having fun your sis and cousin will want to come in and when they do just be like Why should i let you guys in if you dont let me hang with you two, and then me like well since im nice i'll let you. Talk to them about how you feel { not in front of ur friends} 2 months will be a long time for you not to be able to hang with them lol. Good Luck.

I'm 15/f and a freshman in highschool. Lately I've been having problems with my phys. ed. teacher. I'm not going to be around the bush about this, but he's an asshole. (excuse my language). He's always such a jerk to me about every little thing. A friend of mine had a shirt on that she changed into for PE that had a picture of George Bush Sr. and George Bush on it and it sayd Dumb and Dumber under their pictures. He had a fit about it and I was supporting her saying that she can have an opinion about whatever the heck she wants to. He basically said she's not allowed to have an opinion about it until she's 18. Then he proceeded to say how he can run his class the way he wants to and if I have a problem with it to take it up with the principal. Not only is he a jerk, but alot of the time he seems like one of those really creepy pedophile type people. He's always staring at me when we do stretches and stands behind me when we're doing toe- touches. We had to do jumping jacks this weird way and I'm not coordinated enough to do it so he asked me to stay after class about it. We were doing lay ups when we played basketball and I suck at any sport that involves a ball and he asked me to stay after class to work on it when there were about 5 other people that sucked 10 times worse than me but didn't ask them to stay after. What exactly should I do about this? I mean, he hasn't made "a move" on me so I can't really say much about that but what should I do? Sorry this was long!

I agree that your teacher is a asshole. Its a good thing that you didnt stay after class with him. A teacher should never say you cant have an opinion or be rude a teacher should be nice. And about the t-shirt thing he could have said it nicer he didnt have to be mean. Thats sooo stupid that he said you couldnt have an opinion till your 18! If he's making you feel uncomfortable or being an asshole to you talk to you parents or your schools guidence counselor. Is there a gym class you could switch to or is he your only gym teacher in the school? If so then deffinitly do that. Good Luck Hun!

I have only been in one relationship before, and that was with a guy who was completely clueless about everything. That relationship really didn't last long.
But now there's another guy on the scene, and I am aware that he is a little more experienced.
I am very self-concious, I am not happy with my lower body (from the hips down really), and I'm not sure how comfortable I would be doing things with this guy. I really really like him, but I have never done anything beyond kissing before and I think this guy would want more.
What should I do? The relationship is in its early stages and I have made it clear that I want to wait, but for the time being it would be nice to have an idea of what I should do.
There is also the problem of me not knowing WHAT to do, which also contributes to the problem.
All advice welcomed.

By him being more exspierienced did you mean that he has had sex before? If so, he shouldnt exspect you to have sex with him or the other stuff that hes exspierienced with. 14 is a young age to do more then making out, but thats just my opinion. Hopefully you dont have sex with him because even if you use protection you could still get pregnant and 14 is a young age to be a mother. This guy should respect what you want and shouldnt force you to have sex and do other stuff if your not ready. Good Luck Hun.

OMG I soo totally Love hard rock!..my favorite band in the whole world is Dirturbed and I love every one of their songs and i know the words to all of them and i listen to them 24/7...but i am a christian i like other music too but hard rocks my favorite....is listening to it a sin?? and do they worship the devil??? thnx for any help

Well, im jewish but im pretty sure listening to Hard rock is not a sin. Even if they do worship the devil which im not sure they do, is alright that u like there music. :)

i know i have dreams.. i just cant remember any of them! they are nightmares and they wake me up.. i think about them for awhile.. then i go back to sleep but when i wake up again i dont remember them anymore i just know i had a dream because i remmeber waking up.. is this weird?

No its not weird at all its actually normal. To help you not have nightmares while your laying in your bed think about everything that you did that day. It helps because then you dont dream bout the stuff that happened that day which could turn into nightmares. I always do that because one time i had a soccer game and the whole night my dreams were about kicking the soccerball up the hill and then i thought about soccer before i went to bed and i didnt dream about it lol. Also, if you want to member u dreams try when u sit up from the to write them down. If you keep on having scary scary dreams tell someone. Good Luck.
