You are all parts of your dreams and some people can not remember dreams, because they are deep sleepers, but you should keep a dream journal near your bed and as soon as you wake up write down what you remember. The nightmares are the termoil in your life.

No it isn't weird at all. I don't usually have nightmares but I have woke up and thought i'd remember something and then the next day...nothing. So you are normal.

No, that is not weird at all. There are a lot of people that forget their dreams when they wake up. (Me being one of them.) What you could do is this, once you wake up that first time, write down what you can remember about your dream. Have a notebook and a piece of paper near your bed so you can jot down a summary of your dream. When you wake up the second time, try to do the same thing. That way you have a record of your dream on a piece of paper, and hopefully as you look over that, your dreams will start coming back to you during the day.

No its not weird at all its actually normal. To help you not have nightmares while your laying in your bed think about everything that you did that day. It helps because then you dont dream bout the stuff that happened that day which could turn into nightmares. I always do that because one time i had a soccer game and the whole night my dreams were about kicking the soccerball up the hill and then i thought about soccer before i went to bed and i didnt dream about it lol. Also, if you want to member u dreams try when u sit up from the to write them down. If you keep on having scary scary dreams tell someone. Good Luck.

Its not weird at all. It tried that myself. Perhaps you are being bothered by something subconsciously. If you want to remember your dreams (and see if theres something behind them) you have to stay up a bit longer when you wake up after the nightmares. That way your mind will store them in long term memory (when you sleep, and in periods when you have just woken up your mind stores in short term memory only). Try taking a notepad on the night table and writting them down... might be interesting.

therocketsummer answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 9:14 pm:
When you sleep, you dream at least 7 times per night. It's normal to remember, well, none of them. Your brain isn't programed to remeber what you think about when you sleep. The more you think about your dreams, the more you can't remember them. Have you ever had a weird dream, and right when you wake up you remember it vividly, and through out the day you forget all the specific details because you've have other things on your mind. Well the more you think about your dreams when you wake up, the more your mind gets side-tracked and can't remember it. So yes, it's normal.

write them down, silly : ) and if you dont have paper and pen, what I do is just say everything you remember out loud before you go back to sleep, because its always easier to remember things you said rather than things you thought. hope i helped :)
