there is this girl who is calling me a "cow" becuz of my name! she is beating me and stuff! she does not have any friends! what should i do to tell her stop?

Tell her she needs to grow up! No one has the right to hurt you, and if things don't get better, you need to tell someone. Just try to avoid her as much as possible. (and btw, I don't think any name is stupid, as long as your parents didn't actually name you Stupid, lol) Good luck!

im 17 yrs old and My Daddys my Best friend... unfortunatly my dad is HIV +! and im sooooooooooo scared to loose him. im scared that when and if i do i just wont be able to make it without him. 2 days ago his best friend died of aids and he got it at the same time around my dad and for the same reason. im so worried and i dont know how to react or cope with this. im scared to talk to my dad about this because i dont want to make him upset or anything. and i also want to ask him how far along he is with his AIDS .. i just dont no how to come about this.. please help!!

Omg, I'm so sorry. You need to talk to your dad about this. You'll feel a lot better when you do, trust me! Just spend as much time with him as possible, because you never know when you're going to lose him. Tell him that you love him, because that'll make you both feel better. Okay!Well my ex bf and I have been broken up for about 5 months and he completly hates me.I have been doing a lot of bad shit in the past 1 and half months. When ever I come to the point where I want to do something really bad, he is the only one who comes to mind. I just want to talk to him and actually have him listen. I just need him to care a LIL bit about me..Thats what I want for christmas more then any present. What should I do?

Aw, I'm sorry. Whatever you do, don't hurt yourself. If you have his email, email him about how you feel. Or you could call him, write him a note, or whatever. If it doesn't work out, just try (I know it's hard!) to forget about him, and move on, because, trust me, it'll get better! Good luck!

me and my ex dated for 4months...not a long time i kno but everything was perfect we were totally in love and i realli had faith in our relationship well we broke up in august and i still havent found sum1 that makes me truly happy like chris did. my friend mentioned that i should date her exbf but now she changed her mind and doesnt want me to date him. i respect that because he is her exbf and stuff but she did kind of have my hopes up on finding someone who would treat me right and stuff. i dont kno lately its been goin through my head to just give up on a relationship right now because im only 15 but another part of me wants to keep looking. should i give up for now or keep on looking? i just dont know...~!~xoxo~!~nichole~!~xoxo~!~

Keep looking! Don't worry, 15 is a young age, you have plenty of time. And no matter how long it takes, there's always that someone and you'll find him! But don't give up! Ok...Me and Caitlan are best friends, but we always get in little arguments about the stupidest things, and she gets mad at me sometimes for little things and it causes us to be mad at each other for a while. And everytime i start to like a guy, she hates him and she constantly says mean things about him. Like my ex-boyfriend Jeffrey, she doesnt know him, she's never talked to him and i havent even talked to him for 4 months and she's always like "brittani you still love jeffrey" and alot of crap and it pisses me off! and she gets mad if i get mad at her for that stuff. Then, now i like sean and she gets mad at me all the time for talking to him and it pisses me off! it seems like she's jealous! what should i do?! HELP!!

Your friend is probably jealous. Try talking to her about it. She's probably afraid that whenever you start dating someone, you'll leave her or forget her. What a great friend would do (I'm not saying you aren't)is try hooking her up, so you guys could double! Best of luck!

okay i need some serious help on how to get my bffl that is like my lil sis bc ive known her forever... k it all started when we liked this guy... then like we started to go hang out at his house and stuff and he started to like me and so like one day we just like started makin out... and he asked me out n stuff.. k so like we stopped bc we thought that my friend had left so we went to go look for her but we ended upstairs and started makin out again.. then i heard something goin on downstairs and my friend was gone and we went looking for her and stuff... and now shes so mad... like i said something but i let my emotions get a hold of me...what do i do to get her to be my friend again... help!

Ok, you need to apologize to your friend, and I think the best way to do that is like, writing her a note and sticking it in her locker or something. Say you never meant to hurt her, but you really like this guy. She's your bffl, she'll understand. And also talk to the guy about this. I'm not saying you should break up, but just be more careful when you know your friend likes a guy. Just try hard not to get in a relationship with him until you're sure your friend's ok with it. On Monday I broke up with my boyfriend that I had been with for almost 9 months. Sunday would've marked 9 months. Anyways, I really love him but I think he deserves someone better. We both knew we'd end up together in the end. Well yesterday we were talking and my friend told me that he told her that he wanted to get back with me so bad but he didn't think I wanted to get back with him. So I told him that I wanted to get back with him more than anything. This was all on the net so he told me that I would have to ask him out in person, which I was planning on doing anyway. Well last night we were happy and we were talking and he said he didn't know whether or not he wanted to get back with me because when we're together we're one and he has no control over his life. I said "I get it.. I'll go" and he said bye forever. He didn't even try to stop me. I told him I was going to do something really bad and he said he wouldn't feel guilty about it. A bunch of things were said between each of us and he ended up saying he wanted to talk to me just not then and he knew we'd end up together in the end. I just don't know what to do. Should I just stop talking to him and try to forget him (impossible), or should I wait? I need help. He was my last hope and last night after we stopped talking I cut myself and OD'd. I'm sorry it's so long but someone please tell me what to do.

You should never hurt yourself over a guy. I know you love him, but the relationship that you have just isn't worth it if you're hurting yourself because of it. If things work out in the end, then that's good, but don't worry if it doesn't, because there's someone else out there waiting for you. Good luck!

My boyfriend and I have been together for around 3 and a half months. I really like him and he says he feels the same but we never talk. He acts like all he cares about is seeing how far he can go with me. When we are not hugging or kissing, we just stand around not talking. We just never have anything to talk about. I don't want to break up with him because I really like him but our relationship is based on physical contact and no emotional support. So what should I do?

Try talking to him about it, and if things don't change, dump his butt! Lol. I know you like him, but believe me, once you break up with him, you'll feel a whole lot better! Hi the is bAhAmAmA0250 i have a column on here and I given alot of peopl advice but i cant do it for myself.. so please help. I have alot of things going on in my life. Some i cant really help.. both my grandma's have cancer and my other uncle is in the cities living in ICU off one of those machinesa all because he needs a heart transplant.. he had a mechanical one but something went wrong. My other uncle is waiting for a new kidney but he is doing ok but its still hard. My cousin Luke is in Iraq (coming home in summer hopefully!!) My cousin nicole which is his sis jus got married.. and i dont know we used to be really close and i havent heard from her once sense oct. My dad lives so far away from me i used to live out east with him when our parents were together.. but yeah so thats hard me. My problem is that i have a hard time even really excepting this and i feel like this isnt raelly making my family any closer.. i feel likes its kinda pulling them apart because they're scarred.. And they dont tell me much i usually have to find out for myself. Or am i just not seeing any good sides of this at all?

Aw, I'm sorry. I think what I would do is sit down with your mom and have a long talk about everything. It's amazing how mothers can make all that bad stuff go away, lol. Maybe you could visit your family or have them visit you. Maybe get your cousin's screenname if she has one. My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a month now. We dont get to see each other that much because we go to different schools, but im going to his school next month so things will get better. Well this weekend he wants to do somthin, but its up to me to find out somewhere for us to go on our date. We went to the movies last weekend so i want to go somewhere new. So if you have any good date ideas, please help.

Ok i moved 2 months ago into an apt so I can build a house. But my dad is getting on my last nerves. Hes really my step dad. I even asked my mom to let me find my real dad and let me move with him. I am sooo sick and tired. I am gonna run away if it dont stop. Plus he makes fun of all my poor friends. I hate him. I have a friend whos mom isnt the best and he just talks and talks terrible. I am really skinnby and when I eat alot he will yell the name of my fat friends. Hes a hippocrite!!!!. I am so so so tired of him!!

Don't run away..sit your mom, your stepdad, or both of them down and talk to them about what's going on. Your stepdad is probably just trying to make you laugh or something, because he wants you to like him. He probably doesn't realize it's hurting you. Best of luck!

But we also still have sex and do other sexual things.. and im just scared that he could be using me..!! what do u think??? please help!!

I've been going out with my boyfriend for almost a year now and I love his family to death. Since he's away at college they invite me to visit them alot and I stop to see his mom at work whenever I go to the mall. I have a problem, though- I got his Christmas gift and everything, but should I get something for his family? His mom seems like the kind of person that would get something for me, but I would feel really bad if she did and I didn't get them anything, and I bet she would vice versa. He has an older brother, a younger brother, a sister, dog, and mom and dad. They're really nice to me, but I'm lost on the dating/present etiquette here. Should I get them something, and if so, what?

I would definitely get them something! Get his dad, like, golf stuff, his mom, maybe some nice jewelry or some flowers, his brothers, wow, I don't know, um, maybe some cologne or something! Sorry. His sister, you could get her some candy or chocolates or a cute stuffed animal. And get his dog a cute little squeaky toy! Lol. As for your bf, um, maybe some cologne, a mix CD of his favorite songs (you could find out what they are from his family), or a pic of the 2 of you! Good luck!

i brokeup with my boyfriend but ONLY because he lived so far away and i never got to see him (everyone thought it was because of another guy but it wasn't) and ive been an emotional wreck ever since then, it was like 2 months ago and i still cry like at night and even somtimes if i start thinking about him during the day i go to the bathroom and cry during school... i'm just really confused. i mean, i don't know if i want to ask him for a second chance cuse i dont think i can stand never being able to see him all over agagin :-/ but i really want him back, and i still love him :( what should i do?

What can you do with a 7 yr old boy when your babysitting him? Thanx in advance!

Try playing boardgames, playing PS2, or whatever he has. Or I guess if it's warm enough, go outside and shoot hoops or play baseball or something. Or if there was snow, you could like, take him sledding or something! That's always fun. Just find out what his interests are from his parents or ask him what he wants to do. Have fun and good luck!

okay so i went out with this guy for only two weeks...he asked me out ONLINE two days before school ended. he is hela popular and stuff and im not that popular and people said that we were kinda random, but we had soo much in common...and he was really hott. so after two weeks, he tells me that he's moving to a different state, and my bitchy friend told me he was lying so he didn't have to go out with me again, but then he really did move. now, its like 6 months later, i hela miss him and i dunno why....and he visited like last week but he didnt even want to hang out with me, and everyone was al "o ya he's in town i saw him today' but i had no idea..should i just get over him

Well, tomorrow afternoon we get out of school at 10:30 a.m. because of exams...me and my friends were going to walk to an ice-cream shop and eat. The thing is, we have invited guys to go with us. I dont want to look like a complete slob when we go. Do you have any adivce on how to dress and do makeup? Its supposed to be around 56 degrees tomorrow, so I want to look cute, but still stay warm. THank you so much.

Just wear a pair of cute jeans, and one of those shirts that goes off on the shoulders and has that tank top thing underneath that. That would be really cute! As for makeup, make it subtle. Try black eyeliner and mascara, some powder, light-colored eyeshadow, and either a clear or light pink lip gloss. Oh so pimp..

I have this guy friend, we can call him Rob. Well Rob lied to me about something and i got mad and stopped talking to him. He was begging for forgiveness and asked my friend, let's call her Barb, to try to make me forgive him b/c he was seriously sorry. And i could tell that he was sorry, but i don't want people walking all over me, you know? But then he told Barb these things he wanted to tell me like "i'd swim the whole ocean to get to you and apologize" and he said i was beautiful. And no guy has ever said that about me. I've pretty much forgiven him but he tried SO hard to make me forgive him and it sounded like i really meant a lot to him (man that sounded snobby) and i'm wondering if i should ask him out. Does it sound like he even likes me? by the way, i REALLY like this guy! Plz help!

Yes, it definitely sounds like he likes you. I think he's really sorry for lying. I would say give him a second chance, but don't let him do this again, because it'll just keep happening, and you don't want that!
