Ok...Me and Caitlan are best friends, but we always get in little arguments about the stupidest things, and she gets mad at me sometimes for little things and it causes us to be mad at each other for a while. And everytime i start to like a guy, she hates him and she constantly says mean things about him. Like my ex-boyfriend Jeffrey, she doesnt know him, she's never talked to him and i havent even talked to him for 4 months and she's always like "brittani you still love jeffrey" and alot of crap and it pisses me off! and she gets mad if i get mad at her for that stuff. Then, now i like sean and she gets mad at me all the time for talking to him and it pisses me off! it seems like she's jealous! what should i do?! HELP!!

bombinos_angel answered Saturday December 18 2004, 12:47 am: OoOoOo...I have a friend whos like that too. Shes just a stubborn fart. Sit down and talk to her. Say that you dont like it when she says bad stuff about your crushes or ex-boyf's and if she doesnt listen to you and keeps on doing this, I guess it will be time to say 'Bye' to her and find a better mate.
Hope I helped!

Advicegurly109 answered Friday December 17 2004, 9:16 pm: TALK TO HER ABOUT IT! Tell her how you feel about what she says about the guys you like. If the comments get worse and worse then I dont think she's such a great friend. So talk to her and find out if she is really worth getting mad over. Erinn_the_bamf answered Friday December 17 2004, 5:43 pm: Tell her that it's starting to get annoying. If she gets mad at you because you get mad at her then she's a spolied brat...what happens is spoiled people never think it can be their fault so when someone gets mad they get mad at them for blaming it on them. Tell her that it seems rude. Say this all calmly. If she gets mad take control of the conversation and tell her to chill out and lsten to your point. I hope I helped! Shortie8959 answered Friday December 17 2004, 3:40 pm: Your friend is probably jealous. Try talking to her about it. She's probably afraid that whenever you start dating someone, you'll leave her or forget her. What a great friend would do (I'm not saying you aren't)is try hooking her up, so you guys could double! Best of luck!
Hope I helped!

JesseWa answered Friday December 17 2004, 1:29 pm: it seems like she is jealous of you! maybe you are prettier then her or she feels that your better then her or she could even think shes better then you.. i think you should talk to her.. if shes your bestfriend she should understand. about the little arguements you guys get into.. it may be because you see to much of eachother.. just like if you were dating someone. i really think you should talk to her and if she keeps it going.. ditch her even though it may be hard.. life is to short to be around people that put you down all the time.
hope i helped!!! xoxoJessicaxoxo [ JesseWa's advice column | Ask JesseWa A Question ]
