Hello!! Hi i normally give out advice but i need some! bad! Well i have a really bad habit and its biting my nails. It sounds normal but the habit's so bad that when i quit smoking it was easier(!). Now when i bite my nails i bit it down so its just a couple millimerers!! (ouchhiee) Also, when half of my nail is gone a chew and pull my skin around my nail, to like the second layer of skin!and it burns when im peeling it like downward but it..iono its painful but its a habit. i dont realy cut as much as i chew my nails! its turning into something way worse! does anyone have ne ideas how i can stop! il rate u a five..:) help me plz!

Go get a manicure. If your nails are all painted and pretty you will be less likely to touch them.

Ok there's this guy that I met a little less than a week ago at a party and he asked me for my number. The next day he called me and I invited him to come to the haunted house with me and all my friends. He lives in another town but it's really close... like he walked to my house. Anyway.. after the haunted house we all went to my house to watch scary movies and me and him were like all cuddling and shit and we wound up making out.. I feel like I've known this guy forever and we have so much in common.. So i guess what I'm tryin to say is that is it bad that we hooked up the day after we met?? he even told me he loves me already ..

That's deffiently too fast for me, but you are your own person. However I wouldn't hold on to tightly to the words of this boy. He is mostly likely just looking for some action if he is throwing out the "L" word so quickly. Don't beleive everything you hear, especially from an almost complete stranger. How well do you really know him?

hi. well all of a sudden my life has been bad i mean im in 7th grade and when it started everything was going great! but now its like everything is goin down the drain.. i mean all the guys just think of me of "acasia" not anything else i wanna be better then i am now. like i have a great body i admit but like i was going to see my friend zack and his friends were over there so i was like wassup zack? and he was like nuthin.. so then i was like okay.. and i walked to my friends house. so he told me the other day that this guy that i had a great body but an ugly face.. i mean that really got me mad i started to cry when i got home because i havnt had a boyfriend in a year and i have ALOT of friends but for somereason everything is just going away... what does all this mean???

It means you are too worried about having a boyfriend. There is more to life than boys. Stop worring about what you don't have, and enjoy what you do have. Quantity of friends is not importain at all, it's the quality of the friendships. And weather of not you have a great body matters not. If you are looking for a quality relationship, it's the intillectual, the the physical that will bring you together.

Everytime i leave my 1 year old puppy alone, like when i take my brother to work in the mornings, and there is nobody up to watch him, he always gets into things. Like this morning, he chewed my clock, and my medicine *was way out of reach* was in the floor chewed on. Thankfully he didnt get any of it though. My question is, 1. how can i stop him from chewing on things that he is not suppost to, and 2. is there other way other than locking him up in his carrier?

That's what puppies do, and there is not much you can do to stop them if you give them free rein of the house. Try confining him to one room by closing the door, or getting a child swing gate. Also make sure the puppy has pleanty of toys to keep him entertained while you are away.

My friend has a dare that she has to do on Halloween. She has to kiss the boy she likes. But the problem is, she doesnt know how to french kiss! and neither do i. there is this one kid who i started liking, because we have alot in common, we listen to the same music, dress the same, and i assumed he liked me too because of the way he smiles at me, and plus we're going to a show together. well yesterday he told my best friend that he likes HER, which doesnt even make sense because she's not even his type. and she doesnt even like him back. i'm so confused cause i had no clue that he likes her. but my best friend still thinks theres hope that he could start liking me, but it just doesnt make sense. ps, he doesnt know that i like him, so should i tell him?

First of all, how do you know what his type is? To me it sounds like you hardly know him. If you like him, just tell him. The show you are going to together is a perfect opportunity to do it.

i have a Sony Psyche walkman. it's about a year old and it worked great. well just recently the music only started coming out of the left ear. i thought the batteries could be going, so i put new ones in and it's still the same. so whats wrong or how do i fix it? im pissed off cause it was a $50 walkman.

It's not the walkman, that has nothing to do with the sound, it's your headphones. Borrow a friends to see if they work in you walkman. That will give you the answer before spending money on a new pair.

I really like this guy, and he says he likes me too or atleast he did. Well the other day, he didnt talk to me at all. I called him and he didnt pick up, i texted him and he diditn answer, and then i talked to him online and he said he was goin to some party when actually i saw him at our schools football game. When i saw him he just smiled at me and walked right on by. I dont understand it, last weekend he wanted to be my boyfriend and then this weekend he doesnt even talk to me. What should i do, call him and ask him whats goin on, or just wait for him to call me since he didnt pick up his phone last time i tried.

He is brushing you off. I don't know what changed his mind between last weekend and today, but when a boy ignores you, it a sure sign he doesn't want to be with you. If you continue to call him, you will start to look desperate. Big the bigger person and forget him, or maybe he'll call.

well one night i was at my friends house and her cousin was living with her and he was holdin my hand (he was my ex) and things like that but see when we went out we never did anything! and i was goin out with his cousin who hes really close with..(when all of this happend and still am but he dont kno about it!)..anyways..i had never kissed before that night he thought i had kissed like 3-4 guys before him because thats what i told my friend and he heard her so do you think he'll maybe find out it was my first?!

Okay I got The Sims 2 and like where it is supposed to show you the picture of your family and then also where it is supposed to show you the picture of the sim you are playing as it doesn't show it. My friend has the game too and it shows up on hers. Does anyone know how I can get it to show up? That'd be great.

Someone, somehow got into my column and changed all of my ratings for people. First of all how did they do this and how do i change my password?

You can chage your password by going to profile settings. It's the first option on the page. Unfortunatly I think we have been having prolems with some level 2 mods changing ratings, and advice admin has asked this to be stoped. If you are still having problems with that, please bring it up with advice admin.

Like you said she is shy. That's why on your first date, she brough her friends. I am sure she likes you, she is just nervous and scared. Be pacietnt and take your time. If you are a gentelman, she will come around.

Long distance relationships only work if you have a plan. A timeline of when you plan on actually being together. Seeing that you are so young, I think you should just let her go. You don't want to spend you teen years commited to a girl you never see. This is your time to experiance life.

Also how do you plan on paying the long distance bill, and the plane tickets to go visit one another? As much as you like eachother, I think the realtionship is doomed.

My dad got a job in San Antonio, Texas. I'm EXTREMELY happy!!!!! But the thing is, in a way, I don't want to move. I live in Central Pennsylvania, so its definitely a big move. I know I can't stop my rents from moving. But, I'm just going to miss my whole life. I grew up here, I'm going to have to start all over. Is this normal?

Of course you are going to miss your home, and your friends. It would be abnormal if you didn't. I wish you luck with this new chapter of your life.
