i have a Sony Psyche walkman. it's about a year old and it worked great. well just recently the music only started coming out of the left ear. i thought the batteries could be going, so i put new ones in and it's still the same. so whats wrong or how do i fix it? im pissed off cause it was a $50 walkman.

Mercy_x_Me answered Saturday October 2 2004, 2:34 pm: Dont be pissed, it probably has a lot to do with the headphones. You can get new ones for cheap, im sure they sell them seperately maybe at walmart or something. Or if you or someone you know has an old discman, ask them for it (if they no longer use it)
aNgeLxfOrEvEr answered Saturday October 2 2004, 11:43 am: Your headphones are probably just screwed up. Try and get a new GOOD pair, because even though they are probably more money, they will probably last longer and work better :)
S_C answered Saturday October 2 2004, 11:24 am: 1st try new headphones, if you've already tried that, go back to the store where you bought it, and see if you can get a refund, or exchange it.
$50 isn't much to spend on a walkman, maybe thats why, did you get a used one? If not, then ask somebody who works there or something.
XxAxFxIxX answered Saturday October 2 2004, 11:21 am: Well..to me a 50 dollar walkman isnt a lot. Mine was 150..mine is also an ipod or something like that..but it kicks ass. Well, try new headphones and if all else fails..get a new walkman! its a year old..so you deserve a gift
hope i helped

Karen answered Saturday October 2 2004, 10:55 am: My walkman did the same thing to me. The whole walkman has nothing to do with the sound, it's the headphones that do. Just borrow a pair of headphones from a friend and see if the music comes out of both ears. If it doesm, then just go out and get new headphones. Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
XxRockon answered Saturday October 2 2004, 10:33 am: bring it back to where u bought it and maybe they could help you fix it, maybe it dropped or something and something got disconnected in it. Or any electricical appliance store could help you fix it. I would say bring it back and get ir money back, but since its a year odl idk..thats still pretty new for headfones to break so maybe you could bring it back and see what they say. jbdreamer answered Saturday October 2 2004, 10:05 am: It's not the walkman, that has nothing to do with the sound, it's your headphones. Borrow a friends to see if they work in you walkman. That will give you the answer before spending money on a new pair. [ jbdreamer's advice column | Ask jbdreamer A Question ]
xXxpinky615xXx answered Saturday October 2 2004, 10:04 am: Nah it's just the headphones. They always break at one point. I've gone through about 6 different head phones in the last year but my CD player works fine. There is really nothing you can do about the headphones... just get new ones. Hope this helped.
