Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. can someone explain cup sizes and measurements to me? what is with barbie? what does she have and why is that so perfect?

I can't answer your barbie question on what she has beacuse I don't know the ratio of barbie to average human. She's so perfect because she's a doll and doesn't have normal human flaws.

I can tell you what is up with cup sizes and measurments.

All people who are A's are the same exact cup size, no matter what the number is. The number is just the measurment around you. The cup size is the actual size of your breasts. Same with those who are B's, C's, and D's.

Sometimes if you're a 36D and your friend is a 32D you are slightly bigger, but not by much. If you're slightly bigger you make need a little more material to stretch around your body, but not but an inch give or take a few centimeters.

I'm not sure if you get what I'm saying, but it's the best way I know how to explain it.

Pure cartlidge (sp?). I've had that area pierced twice in the past. First time I didn't clean it as much as I should have and it got infected and I had to remove the earing - Make sure you clean it every day multiple times and follow the rules of turning the earing every once in a while and keeping your hair away from it until it's completely healed. My second time getting it done I didn't pay attention to the earring I bought and was allergic to the material - go figure. So also make sure that you get something that your ear won't be so sensitive to.

I have had SO many piercings it seems. I have had up to 3 in each ear, but due to me not always wearing them they've closed up and I've had to get them re-pierces, so I feel like I know a lot about ear piercings (it's the only thing I've gotten pierced, my sister has has her nose and bellybutton so I know a bit about those too).

This question, I love. I watched that show religiusly and HATE that it ended. I asked a friend and she said anywhere between September and December, so not until the end of the year as far as I know =(. But, some good new to brighten your day if you love the show as much as I do. ASP (Amy Sherman-Palladino, the creator) has supposedly wanted to make a GG movie. Lauren Graham has (supposedly) said she would love to do it just so ASP can get those final words out... or something like that.

Anyway, to answer your question... sometime withing the last few months of this year. I know it's broad, but I'm pretty sure they haven't come up with a set-in-stone date just yet. Then again, I could be wrong.

Do you need to shave? If your legs aren't hairy and easily noticeable I wouldn't bother starting. Shaving is such an annoyance, and once you start you can't stop. The more you shave the darker and hairier you get.

BUT, if you REALLY need to start shaving (not just because you think you should since you're 13) then there isn't much you can do.

You've knocked down the 2 answers that will work. When you go grocery shopping with your dad just be like "oh, I need to get something" and go, get it, put it in the basket. OR if your dad has a grocery list, write razor on the list.

Other than that your only option is coming straight out and telling your dad that you want to start shaving. That or writing him a letter or something. If you don't ask you won't get.

What are you going to do when you start your period (if you haven't already)? Just bleed through and embarass yourself because you can't muster up the courage to ask your father to buy you tampons/pads. Noo, you're going to take initiative and ASK!

EDIT: I'm really pushing you to ask because you have NO other options. It may be the last thing you want/are going to do, but it's your ONLY option, so sooner or later it's all you can do.

Oh, and in response to your feedback responding to my edit - If you had other options, how come nobody has been able to give you any? All they have told you to do was fake a little skit in front of him. That seems like it would be more embarassing. Oh, and I have come up with one alternative - earn some money and buy the stuff yourself when you're out shopping with friends. That's the only thing you can do without getting your dad involved. okay so last night when i went out to eat my i-pod was in my back pockket. so i was sitting on it, and im guessing it wasn't on hold. when i got back home it was on and it was frozen. i thought maybe i should just charge it, i charged it overnight and this morning when i woke up, it's still frozen!!! help me please i don't know what to do. i have the i-pod mini if that helps. if its broken how do i tell my parents? because i recentlyy broke my cellphonne.

This has happened to me twice. I can't for the life of me remember which two things I had to hold down to get it to unfreeze. It's either the top and the circle in the middle. The bottom and the circle, or the top and bottom.

Give them each a try. It's probably the play and circle button although I can't be positive.

Which one of these two dresses should I wear to my grade 8 grad? (Yes poka dots are popular in my class)

But..those are giant poka dotted so i don't know if it'll seem weird..it may be good with my classmates but thousands of relatives of my classmates are going to be there so even though they might critisize me inisde their minds, I'll still feel bad.

Just because I wasn't able to get a full decent look at the black/blue dotted dress it didn't look as cute to me.
Honestly, I didn't think the one with red was that spectacular either. It looked cute, so it's probably the one I would choose.
Take a look in the mirror while wearing each of them. Look at yourself. Which do you think you look best in? Which do you feel most comfortable in? Which do you have the perfect pair of shoes to match? =D
You're going into high school so you'll have to learn soon - it's not what you wear that matters. it's the personality of the person wearing it. Trust me, anyone who wants to criticize you is a jerk and it's not their opinions that matter anyway.

Some one please help me write aresume how do you write one

Do you have microsoft works word processor? If you do open it. Then open up the help section. Search for templates. It will tell you to go to File, New. Then click tasks up at the top (I did this step by step to make sure it worked). Then I couldn't find where it said template, so I typed TEMPLATE in the search bar. It came up with 3 options. I clicked resume. Choose the resume you want to use. (It gave me 4 options.) I chose the most basic to open and it worked.

Well, I used to have a nice butt, but suddenly I'm losing it, and really fast. Ever sine I've been losing weight. hate it, it's going flat. So pretty much, my question is, How do I get my butt to get bigger?

Exercises that can make your butt bigger


Squats. Those really do work. When you go down, squeeze your butt so it firms it. Look straight ahead and squeeze your bum while bending your knees. Try using heavy weights that allow you to do only 6-15 reps of squats.

Walk uphill on your toes (this also builds your calves).

Yes, you can still get pregnant using condoms. There is NOTHING you can do to 100% prevent pregnancy. If the guy wears a condom and the girl is on birth control you still have a 1% chance of pregnancy.

To truly feel ready to have sex, you have to understand what consequences could come. Pregnancy and a baby is one of those consequences. There is only one method that is 100% when it comes to not having a child. That method of birth control is abstinance. Which, if you want to have sex, obviously won't work.

If someone tells you they have a 3.60 GPA is it possible to estimate around how many As, Bs and Cs they got? Is it possible to get that kinda grade point average if you for example have 50% of your grade as a C and the other 50 as A? (hope I'm making sense)

A's = 4pts
B's = 3pts
C's = 2pts
D's = 1pt.

2 C's = 4, 2A's=8. 8+4=12. 12/4=3. So that would be a 3.0 gpa.

BUT there are exeptions. That would be the unweighted GPA. If the person is in honors or AP classes, then the weighted GPA is much higher.

2nd semester my sophomore year I was in 2 honors classes and two regular classes. I'll break down my GPA from that year.

Foods 1: I made a B which gave me 3 GPA pts. Weighted and unweighted
Honors Geometry I made a C+ which gave me 2.something unweighted and 3.something weighted (I forgot that it's not always a perfect number, I'm not sure how they figure in the decimals though).
3rd period I had Spanish 1. I made an A, so that was a perfect 4.0
4th period I had honors english 2b. I made a B which was 3.0 unweighted, 4.0 weighted.

My unweighted GPA would have been 3.__ (I think it was actually 3.4_)
My weighted GPA would have been 3.5 (But I think there were more decimals in it.)

It works something like that.

So I guess to answer your question - Yes and no.
It depends. If they're in honors/AP classes etc. then it would be a lot harder to do so. Even if they're not you may think they have all B's but they could have 3A's and a D or something like that. So truly it really depends. You could do it, but there are a lot of possibilities. Once you get into a class such as statistics you learn a lot more on probability and you see how many different outcomes there could be. It would be hard to get it dead on.

If it's from a movie or song then I didn't, nor do I, know. A friend of mine who is also a member of this site (Mackenzie) had this quote on her myspace a while back. Except it wasn't typed by her. You know how you can get glitter graphics and stuff like that? That's the type of thing it was. I saw it, liked how true the quote was for me, and decided to put it on here to show that I'm not perfect and that it's okay not to be perfect. After all this is an advice site and a lot of members are probably insecure about one thing or another. It shows that they're not alone.

okay so i'm taking the sat's tomorrow morning and i just need any quick tips for the critical reading! i did bad my first time on that part so if anyone has any quick tips just please answer!! thankss

Ohh, that was where I scored the lowest when I took my SAT's. I even had a prep course. There really aren't very many tips to give. It's so early in the morning it's hard to concentrate. Just try to get a good nights sleep, a healthy breakfast, and try to stay focused. (A good nights sleep and a healthy breakfast keep you awake and not focusing on hunger).

Try to stay focused while reading the passages. What I like to do is read each question and answer choice. Then read the entire passage all the way through. That helps me a lot because when I read the passage I remember a lot of the stuff I'm looking for and underline it. If doing that will just make you skim the passage then don't. You may think it takes longer to read then answer questions, but I've found out through myself and others that it takes a lot longer to look at questions and skim the passage to find them. If you read the passages first then it helps you to remember where the answers may be.

Also answer the questions your positive about first. Then the questions you're pretty sure about. If you can't eliminate at least one answer choice you're better of skipping it. If you can eliminate one or more answer choice then you're better off guessing. If you can't eliminate at least one - DON'T BOTHER GUESSING unless you're REALLY GOOD at guessing!! I learned that in my prep course.

Anyway, if you can't answer them all (this goes for all sections) move on to the next part. Then, if there's time left, go back. Remember you don't lose points for not answering questions! You do lose points if you answer them wrong (except the fill-in-the blank on math, but you know that.

Anyway, I hope my answer helps. I'm not really sure if I'm answering this too late or not. I hope you get this in time though.

If your high school ID says your age or birthdate then yes. If it just says the year you graduated then probably not. I suppose it depends where you go though.

I hope you really are 18 and wanting to buy ciggs rather than underage and trying to find a way to obtain them illegaly. That wouldn't be cool at all.
