Kudos to you for realizing you can't be in love when you first start going out. Not many people on this site seem to realize that.

If you don't feel it, don't say it. If you explain to him that you aren't ready to start throwing around the "l" word yet, I'm sure he'll understand. If he freaks out about it, he really isn't worth your time.

Well, I transferred to a new school at the beginning of eighth grade, and I can't believe how fast time flew, because now I'm going into ninth grade. I wear cute clothes, I always get compliments on them from my friends and stuff. Recently I went shopping and got really cute jean bermudas from Hollister, and 2 new polos from Aeropostale, a new hoodie and khaki shorts from Aero as well. I had some mild acne, but now it's calming down since I don't pick at them anymore. (lol). I've been told that I'm pretty (by friends), and cute (by like two guys), but that's about it. I'm pretty tall 5'8" and I have a nice figure (flat stomach, nice shoulders, long legs, nice butt), and I've seen a few guys look at me at school, but not as much as they could if thats the way to put it? I recently got side bangs and when I straightened my hair, they looked absolutely adorable. I also want to gain some confidence, because me and my mom were talking about guys and she's like 'Well, I know that I've been keeping you back from dating and going out and stuff, but don't be afraid to look around and notice guys. I notice that you walk fast when I drop you off at school and don't like look around you.' I also had a bad nail biting problem, but I'm happy to say that I've quit! :]

I wear average makeup, foundation, blush, mascara, and when I wear my hazel contacts, I've been told that they look pretty on me. :]

As you said, confidence is something you need. Though several people have made fun of me for this method, I think if you believe in it it works:

Get a pen and some paper and sit in front of a mirror. Write down everything you like about yourself physically and mentally. Everyday or just when you need a boost of confidence, read over the list.

Furthermore, don't be afarid to show your personality. I mentioned it before: looks won't get you everything. A guy likes a girl who will talk to them too. Don't forget to be yourself! Guys love a girl who's genuine.

Well im 13/f. Umm.. this is kinda embarresing but is there anyway to make my breasts grow faster? Cause im kinda "flat". I dont even wear a bra with cups. I heard of training bras but im not sure what they look like, ( i dont go t thsoe departments) and I heard sports bras are okay. Help anyone?

You can't make your breasts grow faster. Besides, big boobs aren't always great. With smaller breasts you can wear tank tops without a bra.

Sports bras and training bras are fine. Ask your mother or a female you trust to take you bra shopping. You may actually be an A. The people at the store will measure you and tell you what size you are. If you want a bra with cups they make a size called Barely A. You would probably be able to wear that.

Hey. Um, so I cheer, and I've been a flyer for years. Only, this year, I don't get too much of a chance to fly. This is because my base/back is always gone, and we don't have the right amount of girls on the team.. But, anyways.. I never tend to get to practice much. So, I have to switch around groups and try libs and stuff every few weeks (totally not fair).
Some girls say I'm really light, and then this one, specifically, says "Oh, that's alot of weight." I'm not sure if she's just lazy, but it's my main base, who says this, too. (Though, she tends to be a perfectionist, and is used to lifting an 80 pound girl).
It's just killing my confidence, ya know? I mean, I've always felt fat, but I've been trying like crazy to lose weight, because I don't want the people on cheering to like, hate me. (I don't really talk much, anyway). I mean, I'm so tempted to be like "I'm sorry I'm not anorexic, but suck it up." But that'd be rude, hm? :P
I'm 14, about 4'10, and found out at physicals today that I was 93 pounds. I was really proud of that weight, because at home, I normally add 10 lbs to the scale. But yea..

No, you do not need to loose weight. I was a pop warner cheerleader for six years, and 93 pounds was fine to lift! Bases can be really critical sometimes because it can be tiring to lift, depending on the stunt you're doing. However, try not to let them get you down. I know a girl who was literally one of the best flyers I've seen, but bases started calling her fat. Be proud of your weight!

Do I need to lose weight? I've gotten so self concious this year, and I hate it, but I can't seem to make myself think I'm thin. Heck, I add weight to my scale to encourage myself. I'd always thought I was 104, hah..
But really. I run three miles, three days a week in the mornings. Eating habits are alright, I guess.. No soda, usually. I chew my food 30 times each (I don't know if that helps anything, but it fills me faster) and I drink ALOT of water.

No, it's not the same. The blood and other wastes on the tampon staying in your body for too long cause TSS. Therefore, a clean one wouldn't have blood on it and wouldn't cause TSS.

How long do you personally keep a tampon in? Like how many hours before you have to change? Also, about how many do you go threw in an average day? Because it seems like i'm constantly changing mine, and its annoying. This is for girls obviously, lol=].

I change it every 4 hours. On the box it says 4-8, but personally, I think 8 is unsafe. I prefer pads so I only really use 2 tampons a day is I'm swimming or something. However, you would probably go through about 6 a day.

Things that cause it to pop:
-tampon
-masturbation
-horse back riding/bicycling/other vigorous sport

Many girls bleed a little when their cherry is popped, however, not all girls bleed. For some girls it hurts, but, again, not all experience pain.

Even when having sex with a condom there is a 2% chance of being pregnant. I advise you take a pregnancy test as soon as possible.

I just got a new light colored bed set, and im so afraid of getting blood from my period on it because it will stain it. How can i make sure i dont get blood on it? I use tampons, but i tend to sleep in pretty late, so its a while until i change it at night, so it tends to leak out. I'm sooo tired of getting it on my underwear and staining them, and i reallllly dont want it to get on my new bed set. So any ideas?

You should really be wearing a pad at night. Since you sleep late, you may have the tampon in for too long, risking TSS.

In drugstores and supermarkets they sell pads specially for nighttime. Where one of those. If it's really heavy, spread two out in your underwear.

February. and it says they're HOPING to have them at every concert. if you've been to a concert in their tour this summer, did they have a meet & greet? i would REALLY love to meet Nick.

I went to one at a Six Flags. And I may go to another one tomorrow because I'm too poor to go to Warped Tour, but that's aside the point.

They didn't have a meet and greet and the one I went to. However, it probably would've been hard since it was at an amusement park. It's possible they may have one because you have to think of the venues of the concert. It would be easier to have one at a state fair.

No, it isn't from masturbating. Stress, excessive excersise, and malnutrition cause a period to stop. And of course, pregnancy.

There aren't really any effects of masturbation on girl. It doesn't change anything about your body, except it can possibly break her hymen. However, that's not really that important.

hey i have green eyes and i am always trying to find what color eyeliners, mascara, and eyeshadows to use. I was thinking about buying almay's "bring out the green" eyeliner and mascara which is a colro called rasin quartz. but im not sure.
