Ok, well i have this guy. I went out with him like a year ago..we're in the same grade and everything..but he goes to a different school then me..i ended up going out with him though, everyone was like "OMG, your going out with HIM?" (as a bad thing) and everyone said i was WAY too good for him..so knowing that. i ALWAYS took it for granted..we ended up going out twice that year. me breaking up with him both times and him asking me out both times. well now, a year later. he hates me. he hates anyone who hangs out with me.. i tried talking to him..just friendly..but hes REALLY mean to me..and now, since the break up, he likes someone. and im mad. because i dont want him too. i really miss him..like in class once..he had to write about his favorite thing..he wrote a whole paper on me..i miss that. but its not that it matters, right? i dont want people saying hes too good for me again..but i dont want to lose him more than i already have..what do i do? and i cant COMPLETELY ignore him forever..next year we're going to the same school..

Don't allow someone to be an ass to you and everyone you likes you just because he can be. You are indudging his mean and nasty behavoir when you try to talk to him.
This guy is hot and cold, wonderful when you are with him and complete ass when you aren't. That is not the way nice people act. Your friends are right. You are too good to give him the time of day.

No one is born already knowing how to talk. About as many people are born knowing how to kiss.
I know it feels like something you should just be able to do. But it's really not, and every guy you kiss will kiss a little differently and you'll have to learn to adjust.
Start out slow and make sure your boy knows what you are trying to do. ("Come here I wanna kiss you" works pretty well hehe) Make sure to tilt your head and keep your noses out of the way.

I wrecked my dad's car this morning, and he's out of town until tomorrow morning. im turning 14 in a week and two days. i really want to start making my own money. i dont know where i can get a job. i have heard of some places around me that hire at age 14 like food stores, but when i go there its all older kids, and i wouldnt want to be the young one. any idea of where i could work and not feel too little?

Fourteen is about the youngest age that places can hire you. So where ever you work, be prepared to be the youngest one.
Summer camps or student jobs like painting or planting might have more kids around your age but still, it's just the way when you enter the work force.

Me and my friend Jay have been very close friends since the 8th grade. We are Juniors in highschool now, and in the beginning of last year he became very attractive. I developed a crush on him, and recently it's become really intense. Keep hanging out with him and talking to him. Ignore the crush on your friend if you can. He clearly doesn't really know the girl yet, and badmouthing her to him wont help you any.
I think it's time you come clean about the way you feel and that you've been feeling that way for a long time. Don't try to enter into a competition with your friend over this guy, cause that will only hurt everyone. But at least let this guy have all the information about your feelings before doing anything.

You need to have a talk with your mother and your sister and brother too. Just do your best to stay calm while you explain. Your mom seems to be kidding herself about this kids nasty behavoir but it'll be much harder once you all talk to her togeather as long as you stay calm and speak reasonably. (trust me if you can get through this conversation without yelling or crying it will drive your mom nuts and she'll have a hell of a time ignoring you.)

Probably. What appeals to you about a guy like that anyways? This is not someone who had one lost temper and threw some things, this is a guy who time and time agian gets angry enough to get sent to boot camp.
He has serious issues, and despite that feelings all girls have that they can change a guy and he'll never get angry with them, it's a load of shit.
You can't change anyone who wont change, (he's been given chance after chance to change and hasn't seemed to yet) and if you are the closest person to him, you are first one to get hurt.

If they aren't dating him it doesn't matter what they think. Your brothers friend is a shit distruber and should be ingnored. Don't say a damn thing to him, any time he insults your boyfriend just ignore him and give your boyfriend a big kiss. If you stop responding to him, he'll give up eventually.
As for your friends. Cut them a little bit of slack, they want the very best from you. Don't bring up the fact you don't think your boyfriend is worthy of any magazine covers to them, but if they say anything just assure them that he makes you happy, and that's all that matters.
No bodys looks are perfect, and it's all a matter of taste. You wouldn't let someone tell you your music or clothes stink without standing up for your choices, so don't be afraid to stand up for your choice of boyfriend too.

I was dating this guy for a couple of months, and everything was perfect. He was the first guy I could actually say I loved and cared about, and he loved me too. I was a freshman and he was a senior when we started dating. What's the problem you're wondering ... well he turned 18 and graduated at the end of May. His father is the real problem though. His father got a new job in another state, and moved a couple days after his 18th birthday and graduation.[he got to stay in his father's old house] This guy I was dating also stopped calling me [we talked every night!] the day his dad moved. His dad told him several times when we dating that he should be careful and it eventually got to where he told him to stop dating me because he thought we were having sex and doing things. We were never even close to having sex! Well its been almost a 1 1/2 months since we've talked. He never called to tell me he was breaking up with me, but I did find out that he told someone that his dad made him break up with me. I tryed contacting him several times for several weeks, but he never answered his phone or called me back. I need advice on what to do. Should I try to forget him and move on or what? If you have never had one before (as in, don't know exactly how it feels) go and get it checked out by a doctor first just in case.
If you have had one before you can just go and get a kit from your local drugstore, they are over the counter (normally right beside the condoms actually)
Yeast infections will not go away on thier own. They might seem to, because the itching stops eventually but all that means is that the infection has shifted deeper into your body where is can cause serious harm so DO NOT leave a yeast infection untreated.

i have stage frite! when im singing w/ my music teacher or around my friends or for an audition for a play by myself, i barely sing! im so nervous! but when im by myself singing or singing to my cds, i think i sound pretty good! i mean i must be since i keep getting nominated for things like all county, nyssma, select choir, etc. im just SO nervous! how can i get over this REALLY annoying feeling? thanks in advance!

Stage fright takes alot to get over, but it is completely beatable. It might be really good for you if you practiced singing in front a one or two people who you really trust and then build from there. Also remember:
When people get scared they start to breath faster and shallower, that puts more oxygen in their body and makes them MORE neverous! So control your breathing, slowly and deeply. You'll be surprised just how much calmier you feel.
A little trick I use when I'm on stage is I look at peoples hair, I just check out thier hair the whole time, cause looking in faces just makes me terrified and having something else to think about is helpful.

Hey guys. Well.. tonight I went to a club for the first time, and met this really great guy. He asked to dance with me, and we did for a while, and attempted to talk a bit (but the music was so loud, so we went and sat down) He introduced me to some of his friends too. Anyway, I had to leave early.. and out of nowhere I asked for his number. This is TOTALLY out of character for me. I'm usually shy around guys, but hey. Anyways, the calling bit is really up to you. Some girls think a guy should always call them, some think it's fine to call them.
If I where you I would call in up in a day or two and ask him out, (Don't just say Hey you wanna go out with me.) Have a plan like "Meet me for coffee at 3 on Staturday." It helps alot and makes you seem more serious, also that way you get to control the enviroment.

My advice to you would be to invest in some paper dolls. Scan them into your computer or photocopy and design clothes for them that way. That's how I started, just making paper dolls and dressing them up :) Now I'm at university for costume design. Go fig. Good luck and keep at it!

ok, i want to get into really good shape for the upcoming school year because i plan on working out hard over the course of the year. im trying to get my stomach to get really flat and its not working. i do sit ups every single day and i do a total of at least 4500 in a week. i stretch everyday too and i go on walks as often as possible, probably a few times a week. i swim twice or three times a week too but nothing seems to have any affect on my body. any advice? plz help! i rate high for any reasonable answer

Do crunches, not sit-ups. You'll work out your ab muscles better and you wont hurt your back.
Make sure you are doing different kind of crunches as well, do some with your legs leaned to the side, some with you legs right up in the air, and do some with your knees pulled up and pull them towards your chest as you crunch.
You hafta to work out all your ab muscles, the lower ones and upper and the ones on the side.
On top of that, if you are serious about losing weight ask for a professionals advice (It's totally worth it.) Don't take diet advice from strangers but do make sure you are drinking lots of water!

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should co-ordinate my dresser? It has a mirror, and three medium size drawers [in a column]. I have a lot of products and make up and stuff, yet I also have a lot of clutter and hats and jewelry I dont need. I dont really know how to organise my stuff, and I'm just wondering how everyone else does it for some inspiration. The three drawers could be used for more useful things yet they are filled with junk. I dont know what to put on the dresser, and what to put in the drawers. Also, would it be a good idea to buy a shelf of some sorts?

Shelves are great for hats. I have one that runs the entire length of one side of my room. I make myself a promise not to own more hats then fit on it!
I think you should throw out the stuff you don't want first. I use little tuberware constainers to store my makeup (cause you can clean em easy) and those deviders you use for silverware are great for necklaces and braclets.
Get a pretty little container for the top of your dresser too, and put your very favorite things in it (deoderant, favorite lipstick ect.)
Then you just have to clean up every once and a while to maintain it!
