The best thing I can suggest would be delieveRing news papeRs, and maybe doing some woRk at a libRaRy oR animal hospital - though they may see that as volunteeR woRk and you wouldn't be paid.. HoweveR, you'll neveR know until you ask! Also, you should check with any little local antique stoRes oR Mom & Pop pizza houses. Also, I know Wendy's and Subway hiRe at *15. I would say tRy theRe, but being summeRtime, I'm shoRe they don't need any undeRage helpeRs, ya know?? Aside fRom that, theRe's babysitting. TRy making a bunch of flieRs and distRibuting them on the bullentin boaRds at youR closest couple of gRoceRy stoRes; fRee advceRtising -- that's what it's theRe foR. HoweveR, baby sitting is a seRious matteR. Make shoRe you know exactly how to peRfoRm CPR on infants and toddleRs in case of emeRgency, and once that is all settled, you can add that to youR Resume. Call them cRazy, but paRents aRe moRe likely to give you theiR business if they feel theiR child will be safe with you... Also, lawn mowing! BIG money to be had theRe; geneRally $10.00 - $45.00 peR GOOD sized yaRd. Happie Hunting!! :D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
dreamandhope14 answered Friday July 8 2005, 12:53 am: Put up a flyer to babysit. I'm 14 and I babysit all the time. I make tons of money and always have the money to go with my friends. Of course, kids could get annoying, but usually new kids won't treat you like you're dirt. I say try that, It works for me, and I love it.

( counselor in training ) for the whole summer and by the end of the summer i got around $850! but it depends on where u work. maybe start off with a little job like at a barber shop & you can sweep the floors. theres a good starter. Good Luck <33 [ SoftballxBuddy's advice column | Ask SoftballxBuddy A Question ]

Decepticon answered Thursday July 7 2005, 11:18 pm: You might want to try getting a job as a hostess at a restaurant. Something easy to start with, and you can work your way up as you get older. [ Decepticon's advice column | Ask Decepticon A Question ]
JLyNn answered Thursday July 7 2005, 11:15 pm: fast food places do hire younger but alot of people dont go for the same reasons as you. you cans tart there at 14 tho, as long as you have ur working papers. sometimes the grocery stores will let you work there too. try babysitting for poeple you dont know or that you already know. i know subway(if you have one) hires at 14 tho. but whatever you do, have fun and good luck!<33 [ JLyNn's advice column | Ask JLyNn A Question ]
Razhie answered Thursday July 7 2005, 11:04 pm: Fourteen is about the youngest age that places can hire you. So where ever you work, be prepared to be the youngest one.
Summer camps or student jobs like painting or planting might have more kids around your age but still, it's just the way when you enter the work force. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
