Hi, I am just learning how to knit and I was wondering if I can knit mitts with two needles instead of four or five? - even though the pattern says to use four or five needles. I only have two normal and a circular needle at the moment.
I also would like to know HOW to go about knitting a pattern that says you need four or five needles, with just two needles (if possible).
And.. does it matter if you use regular, dpn, or circular needles to knit mittens/anything?

it would be better to use what it calls for so the pattern can come out right. like baking a cake. :) use all instructions to make the perfect mittens. if you find it hard ask an elderly person who has been doing this for a long time.

so the other week i had a dream i was pregnant and i obviously wasnt cause it was a drea but ever since then i cant stop thinking about being pregnant an sometimes i tend to sick pillows up my jumper to see how it feels to have a baby bump. is this normal i dont know what to do help ?

The baby doesn't start to push on the bladder until later in the pregnancy. A lot of people tend to get worried when they think they are pregnant and the symptoms seem to come early but it's just the mind playing tricks. you can take a home pregnancy test or you can go to the doctor they usually give blood test that shows more then urine. if you want your friends to know about this they can go in the room with you when the results come back or you may feel more comfortable going alone. Hi, im 14/f and my boyfriends 15. I'm an August baby, and all of my friends are september - even though we're in the same year at school, their almost a year older than me. In septmeber, when they turn 16, they'll be starting to have sex with their boyfriends. Even though i've been with my boyfriend for just as long as them (coming up 9 months)i wont be having sex until august 2011 - im not sure it's worth waiting that long.
We both love each other, and i'm not on about having sex now, maybe may next year? but i wanna know why its such a big deal to be over 16?!? should i wait - obviously i only would have sex if im ready. can i get some opinions?

1. You're the one that is older because you were born in August. That makes your friends a month younger then you not a year older. Next year your boyfriend will be 16 because he is fifteen this year.
2. It does matter how long you've been with your boyfriend when it comes to sex but if you are not ready then don't do it. Just because you turn Sweet 16 doesn't mean you have to jump the gun and have sex. If you don't feel ready then don't do it because you may end up regretting it later even if it feels right now sometimes later down the road you may feel it wasn't such a good idea. And as for your friends they may say they are having sex but are they really? sometimes people say to feel more "Mature" or to "Fit in". Don't let age decide when you're ready to have sex. You decide.

if he is believing your ex boyfriend that could be a bad start. yeah, your ex boyfriend was with you and he should know everything about you but then again..he could also be telling lies because he isn't over you. you should pull the current crush aside and tell him that he shouldn't believe what your ex has told him he should find out who you really are for himself. and as for him telling his buddies he doesn't like you that could be nothing. shyness so he doesn't get teased about you ;). good luck and i hope everything works out.

it's too early in the relationship to have sex. if you have to ask then it's not a good idea it shows you are not ready. what for a while until you get to know each other better. there's more to a person that meets the guy it just takes more then friendship to see it. best thing to do is wait and you know what if he dumps you because you say no he wasn't good to begin with and no guy/girl is worth hurting yourself and doing things you may regret later.

I've been dating my boyfriend for TWO MONTHS and he has called me his exgirlfriends name a few times now (on the phone AND in person face-to-face). My grandpa has Alzheimer's and it's really, really sad to see him deteriorate. I'm really scared for him and want to see him get well. I know he probably won't ever be cured of the disease but I thought that maybe there might be some natural remedies that help reverse some of the Alzheimer's or lessen the symptoms. Maybe something that is natural that stops Alzheimer's from progressing so rapidly? His medications and doctors don't seem to be helping and I just thought...maybe somebody knew SOMETHING that MIGHT help fight the disease?
And please don't call it old timers or anything :( it really breaks my heart when people throw that wording around...
as far as i know there are no treatments. i use to volunteer at a nursing home when i use to be in grade school and it was very sad to see how the elderly folks were acting it was very sad. i have been told many times there are no cures for this but i am sure there are ways you can help your grandfather with this. you know sometimes it doesn't stay a long time. i wish you all the luck in the world as well as your grandfather!
is it true that the less often you wear underwear the better your "down there" smells? cause underwear like doesn't let it breathe or something?

my best friend "maggie" likes this guy, "jason". maggie is an amazing girl, but she is awful with guys. she changes her mind constantly. one day, she'll love a guy, she'll get him to go for her, then she'll decide she doesn't feel the same way about them. that's what she's been like for as long as i know her, and she has a whole lot of guys who hate her. this guy jason is really hot, and i talked to him a little bit in the beginning of the school year, and we have a class together. we're friends. so maggie decides she likes him, just when jason and i start to really talk and be good friends. this was about 2 weeks ago. it kind of made me mad, bc it was completely out of the blue. but whatever. i was talking to jason a few nights ago, and i asked him what he thought of maggie. he said 'ew, no, never! sorry, but i just could never see it happening. she's not my type.' so i asked him what his type was, and he perfectly described me, down to my hair and eye color and the sport i play. i asked him if he had something he wanted to tell me, and he said 'yeah, i gotta crush on you, i have for a while.' now i really don't know what to do, bc jason is a really great guy. i'm thinking maggie's gonna change her mind in a little bit anyway, and jason's not gonna ask me out bc he knows my best friend likes him and he cares about me and doesnt want to mess anything up for me and maggie. but should i tell her that he likes me, and i kinda like him? or should i tell her that he's not interested before she wastes her time or makes a fool of herself? and if i do that, and something happens with me and jason in the future, won't i look like a massive bitch? my conscience tells me to forget about jason and ignore him for now, but what happens when maggie changes her mind about him, like i know she will? would it still be wrong to like jason? help!

My brother weighs around between 210-220 pounds. I am helping him out so what are some good tips to lose weight fast within a week. What I am looking for is what foods to eat each day and how much of it. Also what excercises he can do at home to speed up the process. Also some ways to trick your body into losing more weight like for example if you excercise your upper body one day then excercise your lower body the next day, it can trick your body or something.
It's not healthy. The people you see on television didn't lose weight that fast it's what they do so people can buy into the scheme. I believe it would be best for your brother to eat vegetables, meats, fruits and light snacks and if he doesn't want to go to the gym you can look things up on the internet or even go to wal-mart and buy some dvds for like 10.00. Umm. Sit ups, Push ups, Jogging, Jump rope, Walking, Running. I feel that loseing weight so fast may damage the body because it's too much change. I hope I helped somewhat and good luck with everything. You can make a schedule on what to do each day for how long and keep a food log. record what he eats.

I know this may take forever but when I was in school I found that it helped. Re-Write notes over and over. Or. Read something a few times give someone the book and you read out what is on that page and they will let you know how you did. You can also read things and then lay the book down and write out what you read without looking at it. :) good luck i hated to study lol.

It will be hard to find the words to tell her but the best that you can do is sit her down and come right out. If she is open chances are she will accept it. After all she is your mother and she does love you. Umm.. How about "Mom, I know you have questioned how can a young person know their sexual orientation. Well, (I don't know how you figured out you were Bisexual but you tell her that and thenn) that's how I know I am bi. But I love my boyfriend and that doesn't mean I will be getting girlfriends it's just the way I am. Maybe it's a stage I don't know but let me figure it out and please don't judge me." 17/f my friend went on a diet and at first I didn't think anything of it, I mean it never hurts to lose a couple pounds. But my friend didn't lose a couple pounds. She probably lost like 30 pounds in like 2 months. She looks really bad. She iS not only a toothpick, but her eyes are so dark underneath and whenever she talks or smiles it looks like it hurts her face. I know most teenage girls go through the anorexic phase, but I think my friend took it too far. She promised she would stop a long time ago. Every time I see her she looks skinnier. She gets mad whenever I mention it, she looks like one of those mal nutritioned African kid. I don't know what to do. She's not even the same person anymore. She's always tired and in a bad mood. I think her mom is trying to help her but she told me she isn't doing what the doctor says. What should I do?
You can't help those that do not want to help themselves. By you trying to help her is probably going to be hard because if she doesn't follow a doctor she wont follow her family and friends. I think the reason why she gets mad is because truth hurts. she knows how she looks and how she is not only hurting her but everyone else around her. physically she can admit it but not mentally.. a lot of people do this for attention and sometimes diets do get out of hand and there is not way to stop it unless the one on the diet agrees to go along with the help that he/she is getting. anorexia leads to other disorders and sometimes it is too late. i hope your friend soon comes to realize how this is affecting everyone and i can tell that it is hurting you. you lost a friend to a disease that may or may not be controlled. i wish you all the luck because i know what you are going through.. i had a friend that was anorexic and she started to cut herself nad get into heavy drugs..it was awful.. she lost all communication with everyone around her.

What are good ways to detroy my enemy/make her jealous?
Show her you know who you are and you will not change for her. let her know that you are happy with your life and the way things are and no one can make you change that. best way to 'destroy' an enemy is to be nice to them it irritates them and it shows that you never stoop to their level.

Don't take any. Unless they were prescribed by a doctor which by the look of your question they weren't so.. best thing to do is not take them!
