hey,
this guy i really like has told me he likes me to my face but then he goes and tells his friends he doesnt..but they think he does. so my xboyfriend always tells him bad things about me and after a while hes starting to believe him. so i got very fed up with this and i just asked the kid out for myself and he said he had to think about it, hes been thinking about it for like 4 days now and everyday i ask him are u done thinking? n hes like i promise ill tell u tomorrow but he never does, i just dont know what to do...

Time to stop asking him for an answer. Hard as it
may be, ignore him until he approaches you with an
answer. He probably is getting some sort of ego boost by you asking.
He will get curious as to why you aren't bugging him any more and give you a response or he won't.

if he is believing your ex boyfriend that could be a bad start. yeah, your ex boyfriend was with you and he should know everything about you but then again..he could also be telling lies because he isn't over you. you should pull the current crush aside and tell him that he shouldn't believe what your ex has told him he should find out who you really are for himself. and as for him telling his buddies he doesn't like you that could be nothing. shyness so he doesn't get teased about you ;). good luck and i hope everything works out.

So it's obviously that he has been falling for you a lot if he actually admittd it. He might be shy for a certain reason so maybe that's why he wants to keep it a secret. If he's still thinking about it, that might mean he's unsure about the rumors he heard from your ex still, deciding if they're true or not. So maybe pull him aside one day, and talk to him about the whole situation, and how they aren't true. If he still is unsure or doesn't believe you then he isn't worth your time or just simply you. That must mean you deserve better if he doesn't have trust in you, always remember that, because every guy who doesn't trust one of us, a girl, then why give them a chance, because we're all special in different ways.

feel rushed and pressured once he's ready to tell i'm sure he will you'll drive yourself crazy continuing to ask him i'm sure he wouldn't give you a answer seeing as he said he was going too you've got to be patient & wait as far as your ex telling him bad things about you...you should tell him that he shouldn't believe what he hears because he doesn't know what's true & what's not only you know the truth & if he's curious about whether or not the things he's saying are true then he should confront you about it and ask you that way he'll know the truth(:
