1) Is an MP3 player better???? depends on which you think are easier. MP3's may diffrent options.
2) Are iPod mini's effective? yes very.
3) Are they easy-to-use? yes, just plug it in wait 5 minutes and your good to go.
4) Are they worth the money? in my opinion yes.
5) How many songs do they hold? either 1500 or like 500 or 1000.
6) Can I get different headphones for them? yes, any headphones but the plug in must fit it.
7) Do they ever freeze up like computers? i have never experienced it but what happend to me is i pluged my ipod mini [pink] rarley freezes on your computer, but it may not respond or if you plug it in it wont start updating or charging which has happened to me once. also the "do not disconnect" message may appear and not go away. all this you can get info from their site and you just press a few bottons and it goes away. its not a big problem.

An Ipod IS an MP3 Player; it's just a specific brand name.

Mini's aren't all that great; they work, but they can't hold as much music as the bigger ipods can.

They's easy to use.

Not worth the money; if you want a tiny Ipod, get an Ipod Nano - they're a lot smaller, have about the same amount of memory, they're faster, and they have a color screen.

About a thousand songs, maybe? It depends on the size of your songs; they have 4 gigabytes of memory, and a song is typically 3 megabytes in size.

They use the same headphones that cd players use.

My ipod only froze once, but It's a regular Ipod, not a mini.

An iPod mini can hold 4 GB, which is about 1000 songs. However, the iPod mini is discontinued so you'll have to get it second-hand if you want one.

They're fairly easy to use, especially the software for transferring songs from your computer. I think iTunes is easier to use than the software given with other mp3 players.

However, I don't think they're worth the money because the quality of the iPod hardware isn't that good, so they're prone to problems. They freeze up easily, even if you don't drop them. The headphones aren't that good either (but you can get other headphones for them if you want).

1) Personally I think my MP3 player is great. I don't know 1000 songs and if I did I would probably only listen to like 5 of them at a time. Mine holds about 240 songs, was a lot cheaper, sounds just as good, is even smaller, came with a sport band (Apple charges you like $30 for that I think) and belt clip and doesn't give me any of the common battery/screen problems of an iPod

2) If you like your music then they're very effective

3) very easy

4) I think that depends on the person, if you're a real music lover and you want to store over 1000 songs so you can enjoy them, then yes. If you're just getting it to look cool and only know around 200 songs and wouldn't even listen to that many, then no.

5) I think like 1000

6) Yes you can get all kinds. I recommend the ones that go around your head in the back. Comfortable and out of the way. Earbuds annoy me.

7) No

They don't make iPod Mini's anymore, by the way.

1)No.

2)Like I said, they don't make them anymore, but iPods in general are.

3)Yes once you get the hang of it and READ THE DIRECTIONS. Most people don't.

4)I'd have to say yes. They really are

5) Alot, probably alot more than anyone would really ever put on an iPod. Maybe up to 1000? More than that..

6) Yes you can get whatever headphones you want at Wal*Mart or places like that. They'll fit in the headphone jack.

7) Noperr.
