the constitution lists enumerated powers... which means specifically listed so they can't abuse it. alsooo.. the other braches check the president. legislative can override vetos, impeach, etc. and judicial can rule laws unconstitutional.

Okay I just got my SAT scores back...

540 math
450 reading
380 writing

It was my first time taking it and i was kind of caught off guard... so i just decided to answer EVERYTHING... even the grid in questions in the math (as in just pick a random number) because i COMPLETELY forgot that wrong answers are minus points... so i didnt leave ANYTHING blank...

I also have almost straight A's in all my classes... just one B usually and rest A's... and i take all the honors and AP classes i can...

So with that will I be accepted to USF??? I know no one really knwos but What's the SAT score that USF is looking for??? (University of South Florida)

And what are the other school's like? usually...

also does anyone knwo about standard SAT score for University of Florida??? (everyone was surprised when my friend with 970 SAT score got accepted)

by the way, the grid questions... they don't take off for wrong answers. everything else tho...

schools in florida don't usually ask for that much... butttt i would recommend taking it again.. just not more than 2 or 3 more times.

i have a lot of hair on my arms. And now that summer is comming i want to not have hair on my arms or make it so noticeable. Do u know what to do??? And also just for a summer tip, how long should i stay out in the sun?? b/c i have very light skin, and i get burned easily. And what kind of suscreen could i use. thank you b/c all the boys in skool make fun of my hair and that i'm pale!

i have the hairiest arms ever and back in the day i got made fun of too... i tried bleaching but it didnt really work for my arms as well as my face. sooo i decided to wax them and it works mad good. it hurts like a bitch at first but it's worth it.

Ok, so, last night I finished the last pill of my first month on Yaz. Well, I've been having breast pain. They've been really sore. [I know it can't be because of my period, because it's never dont that before, and it wasn't even close to time for me to start] At first I thought it was because of the pill or something, but, they were sore at the beginning of last month, before I was even on the pill. Should I see a doctor? I'm 15, if that might make a difference for anything. Do you think they might be getting ready to like, grow or anything? Thanks!

yaz changes you haha. i had pain during the first month too... along with obnoxious spotting but now it's all good. it could be your period [like i said, it changes you] but in the long run, it makes your period a lot less painful in general. you;re fine... just take aleve and it'll feel better.

yes, that is too young in my opinion.
in fact, most people in high school aren't ready. there's really no rush to "do it". when i was in middle school, making out was like a huge deal... it was 'slutty'. this wasn't even that long ago.
most sex ed starts in high school anyway. just think about it... what if you got pregnant? or got an std... would you want to tell ylur next partner about that?

So i'll fill you in on what has happend..

I dont know if this has to do with my problem but about two weeks ago i had sex and the condom broke. so i got my period but it only lasted three days and wasnt heavy as usualy. well ive taken pregnancy tests and they've all come out negative so i dont think im pregnant.

but before my period and still now I have had SEVERE stomach pains. I have gone to the hospital twice and to the doctors once. the doctors did a cat scan and there was nothing wrong. They also did urine tests and still nothing wrong. when they feel around inside my stomach it doesnt hurt but when they push on it it does.. it also doesnt hurt me to pee so it cant be something with my urine. PLEASE HELP

doctors usually push really hard... so maybe that's the thing. it couldbe horrible cramps, constipation or something wrong with your ovaries perhaps?

okay so, i am totally afraid to 'bikini wax' my in between my legs area because i have like a -999 pain tolerance, and shaving is a bit tricky. any ideas as to alternatives, or suggestions?

i say shaving is your best bet. when done right, it's painless.
just shave downwards towards your feet and side to side. then put on hydrocostizone cream. ta-da!

this is really ambaressing but my vagina was itching quite bad for a while so i scratched alot. now its alright again but the part where i itched is kinda worn out or however u say it. and it looks really weird cos its just haning there and it still itches sometimes.

besides common belief, it might not be a yeast infection.
try using a baby detergent for your underwear. i use dreft and it works great. it could just be an allergic reaction to the detergent or your soap. [i can't even use dove... its possible]
if it doesnt go away after that , go to the doctor and get tested for a yeast infection. it's really not bad at all... they put a qtip in your parts for like half a second and then give you meds.

In the past year, I've grown from a 34B to a 34D. While I like to show off tasteful cleavage, I don't like to be over-exposed. I'm really worried about clothes for the spring/summer because I've always loved babydolls, but I feel over-exposed in them now. american eagle and hollister have good babydolls and other random stores in the mall do too... you really have to look around and look for the right cut. forever 21 is good too.
bathing suits... i would say pacsun or kohls because you can mix and match and they usually hold boobs up pretty well.
start looking now so by summer you have the perfect bikini... theres sooo many to choose from and i feel your pain with the whole "don't wanna look like a hoochie mama" thing.

I am 14/f and i really want some pretty bras and underwear. the pretty fancy kind. mine r just regular and plain. my friends all have pretty ones too and i would just be really happy if i could have some. i also have a boyfriend tho and i dont want them for him-im not taking him anywhere right now haha so i dont want my mom getting the wrong idea plus i just dont know how in the world to tell her. and i want ones like from Victoria's Secret but my mom might think it innapropriate and uneccesary for a 14 yr old girl to shop there. Honestly, not everything at VS is really skanky. the Pink collection is fairly modest... they have bikini undies with cute prints... boyshorts and thongs too. the other collections are a little more mature but theres really nothing wrong with the pink collection unless its like see-thru. their basically the same as kohls except cuter and made better... and trust me, kohls has some pretty skanky things too. bras at VS are crap for the most part but try some on. just ask your mom to go there one day while youre at the mall. theyre having a big sale so just stop by and see how she reacts. if not, i suggest jc penny.

I'm 23 and T-E-R-R-I-F-I-E-D of going to the gynecologist. I've never been, and I know that's pretty bad. I know I need to go, but I'm so scared. I'm afraid of it hurting and stuff. What can I do to help myself?

I went the day before I turned 17 and I was also very nervous. I see people have given you the process... from my experience, she just talked to me about my sexual history, birth control, etc then she felt my breasts then did the whole downstairs business. if you use a tampon, this should be nothing. i never saw the clamp thing luckily but that whole thing doesnt really hurt. it does for a split second then it's over. gynos know how sensative that area is so they're careful. they use lube and are gentle... you'll be ok, i promise. i suggest bringing your mom with you or maybe a friend to calm your nerves until they actually start the exam.

I bought my friend a shirt from American Eagle for Christmas. I bought it 2 days after Thanksgiving, so it was quite some time ago. I went to put it in the box yesterday and realized that the ink squirty thing is still on it. I don't know how they missed it and I don't know how I got out of the store with it still on...

Anyway, I threw away the receipt not too long after getting it and I've misplaced the gift receipt. I know that if I still had the receipt I could bring the shirt back and they would take off the ink thing, but will they still do it without a receipt? If not what am I supposed to do? It was a $30 shirt and I'm not made of money to go get her another...

I was just wondering if anyone here works at AE or has had to do this there or some other place and knows whether or not they can do it without a receipt. I paid with cash if that matters...

what I would do is borrow money and buy another one of the same shirt. a couple days later, go in with the shirt that has the ink thingy and the recipt. later on return the extra shirt.

Okay, well I have a clean-cut sort of preppy style, and since Christmas is coming up and I'm bound to get gift-cards and money, I have some questions: (Note: I'm not talking about Hollister kind of preppy.
