Limitations on Presidential Power Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how the Constitution limits presidential power....?? I would really appreciate a thorough answer! :)

the constitution lists enumerated powers... which means specifically listed so they can't abuse it. alsooo.. the other braches check the president. legislative can override vetos, impeach, etc. and judicial can rule laws unconstitutional.

A great example of that is separation of powers, and checks and balances. Okay, so you have the three branches of government: executive, judicial, and legislative. The executive is the president. Because of separation of powers, the branches have equal power. And they keep each other "in check" by using checks and balances, where they can veto each other.
The process by which a bill becomes a law is also an example of this. Here's one of my favorite School House Rock videos:
