okay i wrote a book and at the moment i'm typing it and making corrrections to it, but how do i get it published?
Everyone gave some pretty good answers so far. All I want to add is:
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT submit your book to a vanity press like Publish America. You'll be locked into a contract with them for seven years and they'll require you to publish everything through them for that amount of time. And their books do not sell, are extremely expensive and they do no marketing.
I'm speaking from a somewhat personal experience here, one of my best friends was burned badly by a vanity press. Make sure you find a reputable publishing company.

Whats the difference between a therapist and a physiciatrist? Like an example. And i was wondering what kind of jobs i could have for being like a counsolar.. a professional counsolar. And what i have to major in. Like what do i have to have absolutely good grades in school? Thanks
The main difference is that a psychiatrist is usually a medical doctor that can write prescriptions. Psychologist are not always medical doctors and do not write prescriptions.
I'm not quite positive on what your major would be, I would assume psychology. You might want to talk to your school advisor. And it never hurts to have the best grades possible for any major you want to go into.

I got olive oil on my favorite t-shirt! How do I get it out?
With any kind of oil in clothes, you can pre-treat the shirt with dish detergent/soap. Most dish detergents have chemicals that are especially made for removing oils. Make sure it's dish detergent though and NOT dishwasher detergent. Dishwasher detergent will ruin your t-shirt.

I will be frank. I usually find myself with psychos or jerks. So I have a hard time not being skeptical about a guy who approaches me or when I have allowed my friends to hook me up. I haven't been in a relationship for about three years and have only casually dated if at all since then. I find though, I have ended up dating guys who are at least 30 and I am 22. I like the fact that the maturity level is above that of a 5 year old. I don't care about the money or anything like that but I become more relaxed around guys who are older and they often share my interests more then with guys my age. I have a good relationship with my father, he even approves and my friends think that I am crazy. Is it normal for me to find a relationship with an older man easier or am I just crazy? What are somethings that I need to watch for when I am dating an older man?
It's perfectly normal to date men that are older than you. Take me and my family for instance; my husband is eight yesrs older than I, my sister's husband is ten years older than her, and my cousin's husband is eight or nine years older than her. So, you are TOTALLY NOT CRAZY. Now if you were dating someone twenty years your senior, then I would see you as having a problem.
YoungGrandma gave some excellent advice about what to look out for. It's practically the same things you should watch out for when dating anyone: avoid jealous partners, overbearing and controlling men, men that only want you for because you are so much younger than them, etc. The most important thing is to do what you feel is right for you. You aren't dating for your friends, you're dating to find someone for YOU...someone who is mature, comfortable to be around and shares the same interests as you.

How much should you tip a massage therapist?
Even though Trevor-Wolf had a wonderful answer, I feel I must add this. In my personal experience and mindset, if a person does a good job you should always tip 20%. Therefore, if the therapist is charging you $50 a session, a tip of $10 for an excellent job would be respectable. If you feel that the therapist is not exceptional you should always tip at least 15% ($7.50 for a $50 session). The last thing you want to do is make the therapist angry by leaving a piddly tip, especially if you plan on using their services again. Of course, if the therapist is only charging you $15-$20 then Trevor-Wolf's advice would apply, but anything over $30 should be calculated at 15-20% in my opinion.

I have Netzero Internet and I've been trying to log on it with my labtop for the past few days and it won't work. It says I have a error 500 which is an "internal authentication error"..I don't know what to do because the computer I'm on right now to write this question is so freakishly SLOW..and it keeps freezing..so does any one know what to do? ...Here is what it says..
"There may be a problem with your network configuration or a new incompatibility between your modem and upgraded modems on the acces number you are using."...Someone PLEASE help me..

The first thing I would do is make sure your modem drivers are up to date and working properly. If you know for a fact that the modem is working then I would call the internet provider (NetZero) and ask them to help you. It may be that it's a problem on their end.

I kind of itch, and ache in my vaginal area. I dont know what it is. I dont think its an STD because Ive been checked and I havent slept with anyone else, and neither has he. Theres no odor or anything else coming from it, it just itches a lot. Can anyone tell me what this might be?

It could be anything from a yeast infection to a bacterial infection to vaginal dryness. Your best bet would be to make an appointment to see your ob/gyn. Even if anyone of us knows what it is exactly, your doctor would be able to give or prescribe you medication as needed.

Uninstall AIM, go to the AIM website (http://www.aim.com/), download AIM (this is to make sure you have the most current version) to an easily accessible place on your hard drive, and then install the new download.

There is no catch. The only problem is getting people over to see the stuff you are selling and actually selling it. The way it works is everything has a set price (set by cafepress) and you have to tack on the amount of money you want to make off of each item.
Actually, this site sells its merchandise through Cafepress. You just need to make sure you read their terms of service and make sure it's the right place for you. If it's not, there's a few other places that do the same thing, i.e. 99dogs.com.

Ok, i have a monitor that is only about 3 years old and i aquirred another monitor and so i unplugged my old one and plugged the new one up and it has a VERY dark tint to it, so i plugged the older one back up and NOW it has a greenish yellow tint, I have tried using the color/contrast tools, and darkening/lightening tools on my system, but it only made it worse....Whats wrong with the old monitor? it was never dropped or anything....i am so confused...thanks
As Russ said, it might be one of the pins. But since it sounds like both monitors are having problems you might want to check and make sure your video card has not come loose/unseated from the mother board. If the connection at the back of the computer jiggles when you touch it, you need to open your computer case and make sure the video card is firmly seated in its slot.

So I have the worst stomache in the history of man. Now, thinking back to elementary school, the Nurse always recommended a saltine cracker or two. QUESTION IS: WHY was that? Was is something SPECIFIC about the CRACKER? And is there any other food the average household stocks that can beat this intense pain? I will be soo thankful of helpful answers - this pain is sooo bad it could ultimately take my life. =/ gr.
Maybe the nurse thought you had some nausea with your stomach pains. Crackers reduces stomach acid by asorption and solidifies inside your stomach. This prevents the nauseous feeling and makes it harder to throw up.
If it's your stomach that is actually hurting, try some peppermint candies or tea. If it's your lower abdomen then you should try a heating pad, hot water bottle, shower or bath. If this a recurring problem, I would suggest seeing your doctor... there might be a chance of ulceration in the stomach or other intestinal problems.

Hey i love my jeans with holes in them and i have a couple pair of jeans without holes in them. i was wondering how i could put holes in them so it looked natural not like i just took scissors and just cut a hole in them. thank you! xoxo_*
Instead of cutting them, make a small hole with the scissors where you want the rip to be and then rip it the rest of the way with your hands. It will be hard to do if they are fairly new jeans but the result is worth it. Afterwards wash the jeans a couple of times to get a frayed look.

I'm getting a new computer soon and I'm not sure what operating system to install. I've been using Windows XP for a while but i've had quite a few people tell me that Linux is better. I use a computer for playing games, watching films and word processing. Which operating system does these things the best? I already have windows xp so cost isn't an issue.
If you're an avid gamer you would want to stick with Windows. There are a few game distributions that offer their games in Linux, but not all gaming companies offer this. But if you want to play around with Linux and its programs, why not make your new computer into a dual-boot? That way you have both and can switch between the two depending on what you are going to be doing on the computer at that time.
If you decide to go with a Linux distribution, make sure that you have all the Linux drivers for your hardware before installation. That way you don't run into any problems when installing.

I enjoy making AIM buddy icons. There is one site that I always submit at. THat site is dollbuddieicons.net. Today when I went to the website instead of the usual home page coming up this message came up:

What does this mean? And can I do to get it to work? Thank you.
"PHP is not enabled on your account" means that the site owner was running a script that uses PHP but the company that hosts the site does not offer PHP to the site owner. This isn't a problem on your end, it a problem with the site and their hosting company. There's nothing that you can do but wait for the people that own the site to fix things.

I'm 26 years old and pretty lonely. I'm finding it harder as I grow older to make and keep good, healthy friends. My best friend has a problem communicating and being around when I need her. I always feel like I'm only here for her comfort and it really sucks. She's always just so flighty and in and out of my life. I guess we are friends when it suits her needs. I don't know how to go about telling her how I feel about it.
I guess the bigger problem is that I really don't have any other friends. I don't know where to start making them either. I am a queer femme and it seems my community is pretty cliquish. It sucks and I hate being lonely.
I would love it if you had any advice to offer.
I'm 30 and have problems making friends as well. Here's some suggestions on finding new friends:
If you have a job get to know your co-workers. They might not end up being your best friends, but it would give you someone to go out with after work for dinner or cocktails.
Take a class. If you have a community college or community center, take a class in something that interests you. At least you would know that the people taking class have one thing in common with you. Or do things that you like to do, even if it's by yourself. Chances are you'll meet people that have the same interests.
I've met most of my current friends on the internet and even though it may be a scary place to meet people, I wouldn't give them up for anything. We may not meet and we may not live close, but it gives me social interaction that I wouldn't otherwise get. They've become my best friends because I talk to them almost everyday.
As far as your best friend is concerned, try to find a way to tell her how you feel. I hope this isn't the case with you, but I had a friend once that I thought was my best friend, but it turns out I was only her friend when it was convenient for her or when she needed something from me. That's just not friendship and you need and deserve more.
