Hey, my name is Colleen and I'm 13 years old. I like to give advice and I'm gifted with the talent of not judging while I advise. I'm a relatively nice person and though I'm not high up on the social totem pole I have a few close friends who are like sisters to me. One of them actually is my sister. Anyway, I like to read and write and I spend a lot of time on the computer. I like to do charity work for fun and I don't have a boyfriend though I once did.

Okay so here it goes!*Greg* keeps teasing me like playing around.He tells me im a stalker and he says he doesnt know where he got it from he just says its funny.So he goes to my church,school,and hes in my carpool.Today he told the girl in my carpool*julia* that I asked him out.Shes like "*mary* how could you"! And then she told me and I like looked at him and he started cracking up!And when we wait for our parents to come pick us up he takes my backpack and puts it somwhere.He also looke through it when im walking with it on.
So acouple of weeks ago I was at *julias* house and *greg* was there. Cuz julias brother is friends with him. We mostley were in julias room for the time so he kept coming to the room and talking to us which julia said that he NEVER does. So we all played uno attack wile we were there and he never won so he told me that i jynked him.
Oh and hes one year older then me. So im not sure of anything really.
And whenever im wearing a sweater he decides to pull my hood and send me back and he LOVES to flick me! Its kinna anoyind, but I'd like to know Does he like me or what?

My friend asked me if I was goth, I didnt know what to tell her. . I mean goths dont usually go right out and yell IM GOTH! But she asked and I always tell the truth, I said ya. She said ew ur weird. . . She asked me this online, she hasnt seen me for weeks. . and I have maracuously changed, not because this lifestyle has become popular, but because I found it deep down in my heart. She got mad at me and everything .. she gave me a necklas and now she wants it back, she said she'd call the cops if i did anything to it, which i didnt and anyways its mine she gave it to me, is being gothic worth it, i rlly ant to be and i like being this. . but should I give up our friendsship and go gothic, or forget gothic and be ehr frined, I think I should forget her, but please tell me if Im right!
OMG. That's so wierd. I just was involved in a conversation like this because my friend asked my step-sister, who has moved to our school if she was gothic and she said, "I guess" but nobody said she was wierd. I think you should stick to being gothic and give up the friend because she probably isn't a very good friend to think that you're wierd just because you're gothic. DO NOT GIVE THE NECKLACE BACK!!! It is rightfully yours and if she went to court about it, she wouldn't win, actually she'd probably get in trouble for wasting the judges and the cops time for bothering them about something as small as a necklace. Next time she tries to bother you about it, tell her to f*ck off because she's an idiot and it's yours.

You could just ask him out for yourself. You know girls can ask guys out just as easily as guys can ask girls out.
okay. one of my best guy firends...yeah...i think im falling for him. ive been thinking about this for the past 3 months. we're really close and i really love spending time with him. my school's semi formal is coming up and id really REALLY like to ask him.
but i have some issues.
a) i dont want to ruin a quality friendship by throwing "love" into the mix
b) I dont know how to "ask" guys out. im just not really "into" the whole guy thing...WHTA THE HELL DO I DO????
c) how do i even know if he likes me? what are some hints that he would drop? because my friends are pretty sure that he feels the same way about me as i do about him. but im just not sure!!

a) You're right, falling for one of your best friends is pretty much asking for a ruined friendship if you break up. On the other hand, after you graduate from high school or jr. high, it depends on which you're in, you might not stay friends anyway, so...
b) Now, if I've ever heard of the most stereotypical sentence, that is it. Girls can ask guys out just as easily as guys can ask girls out. Just go up to him and say that since neither of you have a date, maybe you could keep each other company, or something. Wait. That was a bit complicated...
c) Watch and see if he is trying not to or to make eye contact. Catch his eye and see if he turns away, blushing. If he does any of those things, chances are, you have a chance!!!

Yous should try to talk to him about the meaning of STALKING! If that guy was calling that many times a day, you had a reason to let him down. Though it probably not as gently as you meant to be, it's ok! You don't want him to like you, right? So, you got your wish. If you still want to be friends with him, talk to him.
my parents got divorced a year ago and ever since my mom has always been trying to do stuff with me. My only free days of the week are wednesday and sunday..and now she wants to have dinner both those nights. I feel like everything I do with her is scheduled. What should I tell her to make it not feel like she had to make an effort to see me?
My parents are divorced too. You should feel lucky that your mom makes an effort to see you. She'll probably relax in a little while, give her a couple of months.

Well, I'm an 8th grader and my friend who is in my class is dating a 6th grader, nobody seemed to have a problem with it. Try to find out if he likes you, if he does ask him out or you can flirt with him waiting for him to ask you out. If you do it right, it will work. If he doesn't, don't do anything.
