I woke up this morning to the sound of yelling, it was my parents...again. they always argue about money and everything. my mom is tired of how my dad threatens to leave and she told him to just go. he said he was going to pack his S*** up and leave...whats going to happen? my moms disabled and we only get 500 a month from her pay and my bro sends 600 a month for watching his daughters. if my dad does leave there will be 5 people in the house...what are we going to do about money?

How old are you? If you're older than 14 years old, depending on where you live, you may be able to get a job. It's the only way to help. Even if it's just babysitting someone else's kids, or doing something for an elderly person, make money anyway you can to help.

Me && my boyfriend have been going out for 4 monthes... I've been told that it sounds like he is controling me or whatever...

When ever we get in a fight and I tell one of my friends (because i need someone to help me before i end up hurtin myself or something) well he gets mad and yells at me... Or my friend will say something to him and then he tells me to tell them to stop talking to him...
it makes me feel (excuse my language) shitty!!!

I don't get why you would want to be with this kid. He yells at you for trying to get some comfort for a friend, & he names random guys who he THINKS you like when in reality it's him that you like. Honestly, I'd dump him. I would never want to be with him in my life. He sounds a complete jackass. And you shouldn't always feel at blame for the fights you guys get into.

15/f, freshman. i'm shy, like pretty shy and in school, i'm quiet. in my classes i'm not the one who's raising their hand for every question and i'm not like extremely talkative in class. with new people, i find it hard to talk to them and open up. i've never had a real boyfriend, never kissed or anything. it hasn't started bothering me until recently. i know that i have to change. not only do i want a boyfriend but i want friends, guy friends or girl friends. i have some friends but i can't always depend on them and get bored easily. so now, it seems like there's not only pressure from myself to have a boyfriend/friends, but from my family. lately whenever my family gets together, we get into the topic of people we like. my 18 year old cousin always brings her boyfriend along, and my 11 year old brother, who is more outgoing than me is always asked about his "girlfriends". yeah, he somehow talks to a lot more girls than i do boys. it's annoying. because it's come to the point where they don't even ask ME about my love life or whatever. not that i care, b/c i'd just get embarressed. i'm like scared they think i'm a lesbian lol but i'm definitely not. i like boys. and then my brother had to say that infront of my cousin and her boyfriend. so i was like greattt. but im not. im just shy! i really want a boyfriend. i've come to the point where i don't care who he is. but like no one understands..i'm shy and it's sooooo hard for me to go up to people and just start talking. idk i know i can do it, i just choose not to. what can i do?!?!?! thanks soo much. sorry it was so long.

You said not to tell you to be yourself, but other than that, there's nothing else to do. Give it more time though. The right person & the right friends will come around eventually. You've got 4 more years of high school to make friends. You've got the rest of your life to find a companion to share love with. Don't be in such a desperate rush.

I really feel very hopeless. I hate it whenever I meet up with difficulties in life. I just wanna give up and watch the world go by. I don't understand life. I don't understand how people can pick themselves up. I'm in depression right now and I'm just sinking deeper and deeper. People say that things can only get better but it doesn't. Life sucks. 14/f In my town, there is a "nightclub" for teenagers to go to where people basically only grind and hook up all night. I've been there a few times, but I just do not understand how I can hook up with someone. Normally, I will just grind and then after the song is over walk away/grind with someone else. I really want to hook up with somebody, so how could I do it? Do you just turn around while grinding? Also, what if they don't want to hook up, then that is so embarassing! I would like any aadvice on how to hook up (with random strangers) while at a louuuud party/while grinding? Like is there a way you can let them know you want to hook up?

Me and my sister are both teenage girls, 15 and 16. We butt heads on a daily basis. We fight at least twice a day, and by fight I mean physically and definitely emotionally. We've physcially fought so badly that we leave bruises, marks and scratches on each other. Emotionally is the worst though. She has no idea that everything she says to me/calls me hurts me so badly. As my older sister everyone expects us to fight, but this type of fighting is over the line. We fight twice a day, at least!
We're past the point of working it out, our parents have tried everything. And honestly I'm sick of crying everyday.
Our fighting is literally making my parents life hell and tearing their marriage apart. Not only that but it's making my life hell too.
What do I do? And please don't say ignore her, that NEVER works.

Stay in your room all day & ignore her. Unless you share rooms. See a family couselor, and a special counselor for just you.

Is 10th-11th grade too late to start cheerleading? (for my high school..jv)? I never had the oppurtinity in gradeschool & I don't tumble. I was with some of my new friends (I just moved) & one is a cheerleader & one is a dancer. They saw my flexibility & asked me if I was a cheerleader & later said that I should be one. It got me thinking because I think it'd be cool but I don't know if I should go for it. I'm loud, average body. Thanks in advanced.

ok to get to the point i am a cutter and i don't cut because i am depressed i cut because it gives me a nice rush i think i might be bipolar because i looked it up on wikipedia and it said that people who are bipolar do that and ilike the feeling of getting body piercings so can someone please tell me if i am.

Okay, so you like the rush of cutting & pain. That doesn't necessarily mean that you're bipolar. When you're bipolar you could be totally happy one second, and then screaming and trying to pull your hair out the next.

Cutting yourself is retarded. Why in the hell do you do it? See a counselor to stop [even if you don't want to] because serious consequences come with cutting. Trust me. You get these ugly scars, and you've gotta cover yourself up all the time so nobody finds out. You get teased when people do find out, and you could eventually kill yourself, whether it was on purpose, or on accident.

I like body piercings too. I usually do mine myself, but I'm getting one professionally done sometime this week. Just because you like piercings does not mean you're bipolar.

Ok so i just started this new semester at a new college. i met this kid and he's wicked nice.. we've been kinda flirting he's been poking me, hitting me with a tray from the cafe. ok heres the deal.. he asked if i wanted to hangout tonight.. to which i said yes. he and i have been texting back and forth.. and well obviously we have not gone to hang out tonight.. i don't know what to do. i'm really hurt. i called him and left a message but he has yet to return my phone. What should I do? When I see him next time how should i react? Should I forget about him? HELP ME ASAP!!

I wouldn't get too mad at him. Maybe something came up. Maybe he had a ton of schoolwork to do. Or maybe he had to go to work. Honestly, you can't really jump to conclusions & get mad at him. Call him & ask him if you guys are still on, if you're not, don't get too mad. It's the first time, so it's not really anything to get pissy about.

My friend Daniela is not a saver and is very clean and neat. Her mother even tells friends and relatives; I have one daughter named Joanne that saves and one daughter named DANIELA that does NOT save. Last month Daniela brought home from work a menorah that is gorgeous and two months ago she brought home from work a jewelry box. HERE IS THE STORY: OK Yesterday, Daniela came home with a cover from a box of chocolate that really is a work of art. Daniela is going to frame it. So when Daniela came home last night she showed her mother the cover and her mother said; wow that is gorgeous; Her mother and she spoke about the cover and her mother said; Your coworkers are going to think you are a pack rat; Daniela said; why are you saying that; Her mother replied; because of the other times you brought things home; This bothered Daniela because Daniela is not a saver and neat. Daniela asked her friends; is my mom saying that she thinks I am a saver and a hoarder; HER friends said; No she is not saying that at all; MY QUESTION: DO you agree with Danielas friends?

Diet pills suck, and aren't made for teenagers. They're made for adults, but I honestly don't recommend them for anyone. They don't work. Eating healthy & exercise 3 times a week for 20 minutes is better for you.

It's the enV. My friend has it. It's a really nice phone, the pictures are good quality, and it's really simple to use. It's also an mp3 player, so you can syncronize all of your songs onto it. But, you need to buy the cord seperate. It's from Verizon.

If you want a phone from Cingular, I suggest the KRAZR or the RAZR. The KRAZR is a bit smaller than the RAZR, but it's just as nice. And they have the super small phone that's the same size of an egg. They don't have it for a plan anymore, so if you'd like it, it has to be prepaid.

As for T Mobile, their best phone is the Sidekick 3. I'm pretty sure it's the same as the other ones, but the features are better & there's more of them. I'd have to ask my cousin, she had it until it got stolen.

Virgin Mobile has some nice phones. But they're prepaid without plans. They have some okay phones, but their best phone is the Switchback. Virgin mobile phones are the cheapest out there. Depending on what you get, they shouldn't be anymore than about a hundred bucks. The switchback has penny texting, so you won't lose all of your minutes so easily.

Honestly, some of the phones do break easily, but that's if you drop them constantly & don't take care of them. If you take care of your phone, it'll last pretty long. =)

You can't stop a hypocrite from being one. The most you can do is talk to her about it, or do the same thing back. She'll see how annoying it is, and maybe she'll take the hint that she does it, and she shouldn't.

okay so I'm a girl, 14 years old. freshman. I just came out as a bisexual recently, as getting a girlfriend. we have been together since 12-30-06 and i don't know what to get her for valentines day.
