I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I'm having a confusing problem...

I've been going out with my boyfriend for 11 months (1 year in March). And for a while now I've been kinds thinking like where is our relationship going? Things aren't the same as they were in the beginning and I feel like i'm getting "bored".

I was rushed into the relationship because he fell for me straight away, so I guess I kinda went along with it and then grew to like him later on and hence why we stayed together.

Anyways I went away on holiday with my college to barcelona for a week, and Me and my friend were hanging out with these cool and REALLY good looking guys (that came with us but we haven't really spoken to before because we were new). She told me that she thinks one of them liked me but I thought she was just making things up and I just brushed it off thinking that he was only being friendly.
However when I came back from the trip, I get a text from him saying that he likes me and wants to go out with me. I told him I have a boyfriend and he's still interested.

The problem is that I really like him and I think that he's SOOOOOOO good looking and has a nice personality (really caring etc..). And i'm already going off my boyfriend so what should I do?

Should I dump my boyfriend and see what happens with this guy or what? Because even if I do dump my boyfriend I wouldn't just be doing it to go out with this guy.

Please help, sorry its so long!

I would stick with your boyfriend. The problems you seem to have with him CAN be fixed. If you dump him, imagine what you'd be doing to him. He fell for you straight away like you said, and he obviously really likes you. And if you dump him for another guy, or for reasons that can be solved, it's gonna make you look bad. I wouldn't go with this new guy. Yeah, you could miss out, but you've got someone amazing right now, and why would you give that up?

Ok. I have this kid in my class his name is david but we all call him "Dee" anyway hes always putts me down. He always trying to inbarace me infront of my hole class. And when I say Dee shut up, and he'll say "what you going to doo about it" and I say nothing back cause hes native and that is the only reason i dont say anything about it, cause hes a punk B*tch. So I need some comebacks hes always telling me to shut up, and that I talk to much. Ill say anything I dont care about my teachers and what they have to say so I need things to throw back at him. okay so well there this guy i really like. and then i found out one of my close friend likes him too. [she didnt tell me though]. and now she wants him to be her valentine. should i just give up on him or what?

Let your friend know how you feel about him. If she's really your friend, she'll back down. But if you tell her & she still goes for him, give up on the both of them.

okay so this guyyyyy that ive been liking for quite sometime now, well i found out he likes me. and he has for a year and a half now... whenever we hang out we have a blast and then w/e. and he knows i like him. but why does he never ask me out. i dont get it. i mean, like he tells me he lkes me then i tell him, you know, "i like you too." er w/e. then, nothing changes. we dont get closer. we dont get further apart. nothing happens, so why doesnt he make a move.

Why wait for him to make the move? He might just be shy about making it, so if you make it, it'll be so much easier on him. And I know what you're gonna say "Well, if he makes it, it'll be easier on me!" True. It'll be easier on both of you for the other to make the first move, but if he doesn't do it, it'll never happen. So step up, make the first move, & ask him out. =)

can you give me a picture of how a chinese or japanese caucasian would look like? also a chinese/japanese (or just asian) african/jamican. like a girl. its for this story im writing.. i have 2 characters like this but i cant visualize like what they may look like. the girls are both fraternal twins, and one has dirty blonde hair, blue-grey eyes, and freckles, while the other has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and no freckles (she looks a little more asian than the other girl). and they are about like 13 years old, but the pic of the person can be older if you cant find a younger version. and please no hentai or whatever. thanks!

So me and this one guy Tom, we talk alot. we joke about everything. LIke he found lube in my house, thinking it was mine when it wasnt and now he constantly jokes about it saying "oh maybe we should use it sometime" or "when do you want me to come over" hes always asking me when or if we can hang out. He tells me when i look good, no hes not gay. He asks me who i like alot, and he wont tell me who he likes, he'll usually tell me 2 out of 3 but he says he can't tell me the other one. He wants to take me to a club (a teeen one) because i dotn go to the school one because of teachers, i told him (true), and he says "i needa take you there so you can dance with me" stuff like that. Then when i found out that people at school were saying i liked him i asked about it. and then hes was like "oh i didnt hear about this, but do you like me" and i changed the subject and now we havent talked when before he would I.M me whenever he was on and answer my calls. He went out with my best friend, she knew i liked him. Me & her look alot alike, and he still flirts with her, their not going out. The thing is do you think he likes me. Say the truth, dont butter it up to protect my feelings. thankss

Anyways, you should've told him how you felt when he asked you about it. You guys talked alot & were close, so you should've let him know when he asked you. He deserves the truth, and you didn't tell him, so now what?

If you like him, call him & tell him. Or tell him in person. Pull him aside & tell him that you're sorry you didn't let him know before but that you're positive you like him. If they're not going out, she shouldn't care what you do. And besides, she obviously never cared how you felt if she knew you liked him, but then dated him anyways. Just tell him how you feel. If he feels the same, then go out.

i wish i had 1 best friend that i could share all my secrets with, and that would be like better than all my other friends and stuff. but most of my friends are just good friends and stuff.. but what do you consider to be best friend material? idk if we're more than good friends yet.. even the ones i've known forever. or maybe they are, but like i still dont think i've found someone that like completely blew me away and that i'd totally know is my best best friend. :/ how do i get one? How do i find one? im always hoping for a new kid in the neighborhood or in my class at school and that we'd click and become best friends. -sigh- what should i do?

Aww, I understand how you feel, but the qualities that make up a best friend and a friend are completely different.

Friends are people you can talk to just normally, and you don't usually talk to a lot. They're just there, really. You consider them your friends, but you don't know too much about them. Friends don't usually take risks, and you never know what's on their mind. If you have to ask someone what they're thinking about, they're not as close as you think.

Best friends are someone you know inside&out, and you can talk to them about anything. They know all your secrets, you know all of their's. They know where everything in your house is, you borrow each other's close, and you know what the other one is thinking. And you know what they're gonna say next. They always know exactly what you're feeling, and they always know how to cheer you up. They can make you laugh when you feel like dying, and they're the ones who'll sneak out of their houses at night to come & keep you company when your boyfriend dumps you. They're pretty much you're other half & a sibling you NEVER got.

If you have a friend like that, you've found your best friend. And it's not very hard to make one, you've just gotta find someone you're interested in being friends with, and see what you guys have in common. =)

im having a spanish fiesta this thursday. (7th grade) which do you think would be the easiest and tastiest to eat? enchiladas (MMMM good), yellow rice (with meat, veggies, etc), or guacamole? also what do they call yellow rice in spanish? amarillo rice? lol also im not the best chef but my mom is helping me. thnx.

Well, I'm Hispanic & I love Spanish food [obviously], so I know what's good & what's not. Empanadas are really good. If you go to your local grocery store, they should have them in the Goya box. =) They're super good & can have just about anything in them. The ones with pizza in them are so good. And so are the originals with beef inside. Yellow rice is pretty good. You can eat that with pretty much anything. Pork, chicken, steak. Vegetables can go in it too. You usually put peppers or beans in it. Guacamole isn't really too good, and I don't recommend it because not everyone will like it. For what they call it, it depends on what country you're in because some of dialect in one country is different in another. But, I call it yellow rice. =)

Well my sister just went off to collage and she has a lot of problems! When she still lived with us she would over eat then starve herself, and she drank underage and smoked! My parents would always yell at her but she still did it! I was always worried about her and still am!! What if she gets soo mad she cammits suicide!! IM SCARED PLEASE HELP!! I'm a 13/f!!
PS. She doesnt talk to me cause she thinks im stupid and sh already sees a tharapist but i don't think it is working!!

Your sister is clearly ruining her life & she obviously just doesn't care. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do for your sister. She's getting help, but it's not working. Maybe she should try some rehab. I realize you're worried, but there's not much you can do. She'll realize eventually what she's doing to herself. When her life is nothing, and she has nothing & no one, she'll begin to wonder why she chose to do the things she did.

are there any ways to speed up your period or something so it doesn't last as long? or any ways that will make it less painful? i'd like to be able to go to my school dance this friday but i can't dance if i have cramps [which i usually get] & feel wet. thanks for any advice.

Unfortunately there is no way to speed up your period so it'll be shorter. I wish there was. You can ask your mom to take you to a doctor so you can get some birth control. Depending on the pill/patch/shot [the three ways to get it], your period can last up to three days or less. =)

Well a friend and I have always fallen for eachother almost every once a year and last year we were both at a carnival and he cheated on his girlfrend with me. He said he liked me and I told him I did too but we weren't going out. Then in halloween we made out almost the whole time we were together and once again he told me he liked me but he still wouldn't ask me out. Then like finally on his bday he would always want me to call him and he would always tell me that he was expecting my call. So I called him nearly the whole time. Then in Jan. he came to my house and we had dry sex but then after this he started to flirt with my friend and told me he didn't like me any more. That was a big turn off for me. Now he flirts with me soo much and i don't know if he likes me or not. What do you think?

I think he's a jerk & I wouldn't pay any attention to him. I doubt he likes you, he was just messing with your head & was probably only in it for some ass.

Okay well the last time I had sex was 7 months ago (it was also my first time). Since that time my period hasn't come. I know I'm not pregnant because my belly hasn't grown and I don't think I've had any pregnancy smptoms. My question is "Why hasn't my period came?"

Your period might still be irregular. If you're concerned, see your gynocologist.

I was burning a cd for a car trip when I realized I'm pretty much sick of most of my music. I need some new stuff.
I like almost any kind of music, although I'm really into indie and rock.
Some of my favorites are Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy, The Legion of Doom, Senses Fail, Mandy Moore, and Hinder.

Well, if you don't have Senses Fail's new album, I suggest you get it, and get Fall Out Boy's new one too. Saosin is really good. Just download what you can off of those bands, and I promise you won't be disappointed. =)

Okay, since this week is the week of valentines day, I wanna do my nails a cute way. I have a soft but solid light pink, solid white, and solid red. Any cute ideas, but not polka dots or anything over the top?

Also, please dont mention like alternating colors on each nail, one hand with one color and the other color on the other hand, etc, or just using a single color on each nail. I want a cute design.

Paint all of your nails solid white. Take a toothpick & dip it into the pink and red nailpolish, and make little heart designs on your nails. =)

here's the deal, i grew up in a upper class family and have bene kind of spoiled my entire life. and i like it... but the thing is i cannot live a life like that when i'm older if i'm not a) a doctor b) a lawyer c) a scientist, engineer, business, something along the lines of that! but i'm not interested in any of that. i want to be a celebrity, like a lot of other girls. but i know that cannot happen since it is 1 out of a million. or i'd like to be a fashion magazine editor (also hard), nutritionist, yoga teacher, makeup artist, etc.... all of the above either doesn't pay alot at all or is one out of a million. i don't know what to do. in order to become any of the "good jobs" i have to get into an IVy league (i know i don't have to, but there's alot of pressure). sooo, help?

If you really like those jobs, and that's what interests you, go for it. Those jobs actually do pay a lot. For yoga, you can become a famous trainer that every celebrity wants to work with to stay in shape. Celebrities make a lot of money. There are people out there worth millions of dollars, so don't doubt it. Nutritionist can make good money too if they know what they're doing. Makeup artists are good too. Fashion magazine editors are sort of easy to be. Try working at a magazine company as an intern & then work your way up. =) You can be anything you wanna be. If you're successful, then that should be all the riches itself. Don't be so dependant on money. Yes, it can get you a lot of nice things, but it can't buy you happiness & love.

My ex dumped me cause she wasnt felling it, Any way I want her back but she likes for othere guys, and just wants to stay freinds. I cant live without her she is the love of my life, and I cant let her go. She already has a date to the dance with one of the guys she likes, and I was with on of my freinds the othere day and we were walking threw the hall and she so us and I had my arm around her and my ex gave the othere girl like a dirty look. You can't get her to like you that way again. You have to be patient & wait it out. Make her jealous & make her see what she's missing out on. Maybe she'll come to her senses & realize what a mistake she made. If she doesn't come back, then move on & find someone else you might like. =)

for my whole life i've only been typing with my 2 index fingers. my friends make fun of me for it and i really want to know the real way to type. and im afraid i cant get out of my old habit of typing.. what fingers go on what keys??? any tips?

Practice it until you're comfortable. I took typing classes in elementary school, so I know what I'm doing, and I type pretty fast. I know where every key is without looking. =)
