I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.


Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.

I don't think anyone really knows. Everyone can speculate, but I think only Michael Jackson knows the answer to that one.

He was accused of child molestation, but wasn't found guilty in court.

It means, in his situation, that he was accused of sex acts with children.

I believe he has 2 children of his own. He may have 3, but I think it's 2.

was he really addicted to drugs?
Never in my life have I heard of him being addicted to drugs. Anything is possible, but I've never heard of it.

What happened to him being white?
You mean why is he white? He has a skin disorder (I forget what it's called) where the pigment of his skin changed. He had white patches that appeared on his skin.
I've heard he did some sort of skin bleaching to even out his skin tone, which caused his skin pigment to turn white. But I'm not sure if the whole skin bleaching thing is actual fact.

and lastly, where is he now?
Last I heard, he was planning to move to Europe after the molestation trial. I'm not sure where he is, though.

Perhaps never again. I'm not sure. Even though he wasn't found guilty, the whole child molestation ordeal wasn't something that was taken lightly by the public, and many believed he was really guilty, but he got off because of lack of evidence.

I was wondering after a mother is killed who does her child go to if the biological father has never been involved in the childs life? Can the child go to the mothers boyfriend?

It's something that has to go through the legal system. That's why it's always best for parents to decide this and create a will as soon as they have children. That way, if in the event of tragedy, the child(ren) will go to who the parents think will do best to raise them.
I see that you are 23, so I'm guessing you have a child? Perhaps not, but if that is why you ask, make a will, and there will be no argument about who the child goes to.

Ok, my parents are strict Catholics, My older brother(17) is 100% satanic, I'm a Buddhist and my sister finds any form of Religion disgusting.
Our house is all classical, with expensive furniture and so on, cause of my parents.
My room is minimalistic with a small shrine to Buddha. My brother's room is all black, and he does quite extreme Satanic stuff. Sorry, I don't know anything about it. But I have seen blood on the floor and so on.
My sister thinks anyone that people worship is s*it and so on. She's 14. She's constantly complaining about out religions and so on.
My parents hate my brother...they haven't talked for 4 years, since he discovered Satanism. My parents don't like to talk to me either.
And basically they ignore my sister. I get along with her ok, but that's when nothing to do with Religion is involved.

What could I do to make my home life better (15/F btw)

Well, you can only do for yourself. Everyone would get along if religious differences were respected and set aside. You can't make your parents or siblings see it that way, but you can start it with yourself.

We are both close best friends and we bicker, I mean I have two close friends and we don’t bicker like I do with my friend (lets call her S). There was this time when I wanted to go get sushi for myself, S made a gross look on her face.

“Hey there’s nothing wrong with it, its good”
“S: No it is disgusting”
(My other Friend commented) “I dont like sushi”
S: “See! She doesn’t like it”

“S: But it’s good”

Ok, simple solution: Don't antagonize debates.

S makes gross look, you say nothing about it. If S says "It's disgusting" say nothing about it. Shrug or whatever, but don't argue how it's good.

S: "You should read this great book."
You simply say "Ok I will" and leave it at that. It's not a lie, because you said you would when you have time, but by just saying you will read it, you are giving her nothing to comment back about.

yes i know i am very young to be pregnant.
i will be 16 in 2 months.

anyways....today i was on the laptop and my dad was next to me and i was looking at abortion pictures and saying how horrible it was. and my dad was like so if you got pregnant you would keep it? and i said YES I COULD NEVER KILL A BABY! and then we had this whole argument on how its not a baby at a certain amount of weeks and whatever...so i showed him an article on how they get nerves at 4 weeks so they do feel it and he was like I DONT CARE ID DRAG YOU DOWN TO THE CLINC AND MAKE YOU GET ONE! i just kept saying you cant make me..

REMEMBER....HE DOES NOT KNOW IM PREGNANT!

also when he found out my mom was pregnant with my little brother he yelled and screamed at her and dropped her off at the clinc..she sat there for HOURS crying...finally went in but they said she was too far along to get one...thank god.

so my dad is capable of having the heart to leave me at a clinc.

how do i tell him im pregnant without going through that? im keeping the baby, im still with the father and he is staying with me so i have help.

when i tell my dad should i immediately tell him abortion is out of the question?

can he really force me into an abortion? thats my right though isnt it? its not like since im under 18 he could make it get it by law right?

either way i need to tell him soon because i want this baby to be healthy so regular checkups to the OBGYN and getting put on healthy stuff is needed asap.

First off, have you told your mom? I'd go to her before saying anything to him.

Second, set an appointment to talk to your county attorney for advice on this. They can answer your questions, and it costs you nothing to seek their legal advice. Your mom knows where you're coming from on this, so see if she'll help you do this.

When you do tell him, YES, you tell him abortion is not an option. You don't want one, you shouldn't have to have one. If he drops you at the clinic, you know you don't have to go in at all.

Here's the deal. I have this HUGE crush on my best friend's brother, but he has a gf. But not only that, all my friends are telling me not to go towards him 'cause he'll break my heart. I don't know if I should believe them or not. He's been really nice to me, but I don't know if he is flirting with me or not. I am not very experienced in this category. Someone please help!

If he has a girlfriend and is flirting with you, then your friends are probably right.
I wouldn't even consider pursuing the guy until he is single.

Well, I'm graduating from high school on June 10th. We will be wearing caps and gowns, but I'm not sure what to wear underneath and for shoes. I don't know how long the gowns are supposed to be (all the teachers are less than helpful) but I'm guessing pants or jeans won't be appropriate.

Also, do the caps fall off? Should I bring some bobby pins to pin it to my head?

Also, I don't even know what color the gowns are, (again, everyone is less than helpful), so what would be some good shoe color choices? And types of shoes.

We got our caps and gowns before graduation. The gowns are normally about calf length. I didn't bobby pin mine, but I didn't have my hair done all up, either- it was straight.
I wore shorts under mine. Nobody knows what you're wearing, because until you decide to take off your gown, that is all anyone will see outside of your shoes.
If you don't pick out colors as a class, generally you will be dressed in school colors.

Okay so I know Im probably too young to get RLS but my grandma has it, my mom and my sister has it, It has always been in our family.

But when I try to lay down and go to sleep I have the sudden urge to kick/move my feet. They get all itchy and It is like that till I finally fall asleep about 2 hours later. Is there anything I can do to stop the symptoms or lessen them? THANKS!

what do you do when you're with a guy that you liked for a long time and were so much fun together but when you started going out everything went down hill. nowadays after only 4ish months there's just as many bad times as good, if not more. when we're good, we're great. but when we're bad, it sucks arse. like ridiculous. what do you think, does the good cancel out for the bad?

I really can't tell you if the good cancels the bad, because that's something you need to figure out for yourself.

ok so i just got done reading "all american girl" by meg cabot.

and at one point at the beginning it says that she "e: dyed all of her clothes black "e.

i only wear black. but i wasnt always this way, so i have A LOT of clothes that are not black....including denim jeans.

and i was just wondering how you would want to do that? because there are a lot of cute non- black shirts i have that im not willing to give up just because they arent my favourite colour! how would i dye them black PERMANENTLY???

You can use Rit Dye. You can either get it in liquid or powdered form. Below is a link so you can see what I'm talking about, but you should be able to buy it in places like Walmart, etc.

BE SURE you follow the directions exactly. When dying clothes in your washer, BE SURE to run the washer empty with soap added when you're done to make sure the dye is rinsed out of it, or it will end up on other clothes.

what is indecent assault? examples please and what is the usual amount of time in jail when you get convicted of indecent assault? i already read a couple pgs which refers to something someone would consider indecent and i want to know what is generally indecent?? i kno a boy whos dad is charged with this and im wondering if he most likely just was inappropriatly touching some woman or had her give him a handjob/blowjob because on a s iteit said that it could mean either and i want to know which it usually means.

What it means is a sexual offense of some sort. It doesn't mean any specific sexual assault, for there are many ways a person can sexually assault another.

The conviction time varies by the crime. Meaning, the worse the actual, specific offense is, the harsher the sentencing.

I don't know where you live, but if you live in the US, you can go to the courthouse and get information on the crime he's being charged with. It's public record...

My hair is generally healthy, except at the ends...I have terrible split ends. I hardly ever use a blow dryer or straighten my hair (I generally towel dry and put my hair up). Part of the problem might be that my hair is coarse and need more conditioning...I've actually switched to Trader Joe's shampoo, which is mostly natural, so it doesn't have any wax or anything that could mask split ends. I really want to try growing out my hair, but with such damaged ends, that'll be hard, unless I get a trim. But....what are some other things i could do to at least mask split ends, before I go out and get the much needed trim?

Go out and get a good deep conditioning treatment. Best place to get one is at the salon, for you do get what you pay for on something like that.
They recommend deep conditioning once a week- When my hair is all dry like yours, I do it twice a week.

After you get your trim, don't stop using it. Use it once a week, to prevent having this split end issue again.

I'm 17 years old, pretty much a good kid, very slightly rebellious against my parents though. I think I have an extreme potential of becoming an alcoholic.

Although I've never been drunk before (but I have been tipsy once or twice), and I love the taste of alcohol, especially wine. When my family has family over for dinner, I get poured one or two glasses of wine during that evening. This happens about once or twice a month.

On a rare occasion (once every two-three months), when no one is around, I'll sneak a sip of some alcoholic beverage (I'm afraid to drink too much because I don't want anyone to notice that the bottle's emptier than usual. I'm not sure what's my point of doing this, I don't think I want to get drunk, but I'm not so sure I do it for the taste either because I'll have a sip of vodka even though I don't particularly like it, but I'll crave it (but mostly I just crave wine).

What scares me is that I think I will enjoy the feeling of being drunk, and I think I might have a mild form of depression. Also, I tend to be stressed out all the time. How I deal with it right now is by spending hours on the computer because I guess it sort of numbs me. I have a feeling that once I move out I will use alcohol to numb me.

I think the main reason why I've never been drunk before is because I don't know my limits and I don't want to black out or get alcohol poisoning.

I don't know. Is this serious? What should I do about this?

Hmmm... Interesting question.

Well, first off, a lot of people drink because they enjoy the flavor. Some people who enjoy the flavor of wine go to wine tastings, where usually they sip wine, swish it in their mouths, then spit it out into a bucket. (They don't swallow to prevent being effected by alcohol.) Sounds gross to do that, but trust me- I've been to one, and it doesn't seem unusual when you're there.

But if you are worried that you'll become dependent on alcohol, then I'd steer completely clear. Better to crave the taste and not taste it than to have your body crave the drink and be miserable.

Being friend to an alcoholic, he has faced more struggles trying to stay recovered than picking up the bottle in the first place was ever worth.

I am dealing with a huge weigh on my shoulders. Last year I went through the hardest time of my life. I had been with my ex-boyfriend on and off for almost a year and a half. He moved away for school but we hook up when he would come home. I ended up pregnant and he made me feel like there was no way to keep the baby. I was in a horrible state with my hormones running wild and all the added stress of school. I was 2 months away from receiving degree. But I knew it was going against everything I believe in.

I feel totally depressed. Its been a year and I still have the pregnancy weight, I feel totally guilty for what I did. It kills me inside to think about what I did. I have no one to talk to because its such a sensitive issue. My friends haven't been through this and I dont want to dwell my issues on them. I lost all my confidence i feel fat and ugly because of what I did. I dont know what to do anymore. I feel totally alone :*(

Having two babies of my own, I can't have any idea what you are going through right now. I won't pretend to.
I do know that we all make hard choices in this life, and we do our best to go with the option that is for the best.

I think it would probably do you a lot of good to seek therapy or support groups, as said before. Either way (or you can do both) you will have someone to talk to about how you are feeling without the fear and worry of being judged.
You need to find a way to move past this so you can go on with your life.

So i absolutely HATEHATEHATE babies and anyone under the age of 10. they just really piss me off.
well my mom made me move in with her boyfriend who has 2 sons, one of which has a girlfriend who also lives with them. well she was pregnant. but they induced labor yesterday (gag) because she was a week overdue (big deal). and now its like everything revolves around that stupid thing, and its only been ONE DAY. my mom doesnt tell me i love you on the phone anymore she left me home alone all day today so she could go to the hospital and go see the repugnant thing, and i know that whenever my family comes over theyre not going to want to see me anymore its all gonna be about that monster.
so all im really asking is how do i make it through all this, and how do i not kill it, and deal with the crying, and all that shit. and most of all how do i get over my hate. because i seriously hate ALL kids.
