I'm not judgemental. Your life is yours to live it as you choose. I believe asking for advice is good, but ultimately the choice is yours. You WILL NOT find a hurtful or smartass answer here.
If you have a question that you would like to keep private, you can email me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

ok.. i am 13 and a female. i already got my period like in march. i usually run like 27 days. and i was supposed to get it last week. like. i know if you miss your period that is a symptom of pregnacy. but i have not had sex or anything or like takin pills. like is it normal for my period to be late. like i just got it but that was in march. so i am so confused. and on thursday i am going to hurricane harbour in six flags. i am scared like will i get my period there? or before. i am so nervous. i mean. hurricane harbour is my birhday party. so i do not want to miss it or get it there. i am going to bring like pads and stuff there. but i know i should wear a tampon just in case but my mom says i am to young to use them. but i could. but i am to scared. so. im so confused.
like im not only asking if i could be pregnant but like... im scared.
rissa
It's natural to have some variation in your periods right now. At 13, your hormones are still going haywire and it may take a while before your period becomes regular, if they ever do. Some women just have irregular periods. I know it's hard but you need to try to quit stressing over it since that can make it not come. I would ask your mom to make you an appointment with the gynecologist for a checkup just to be sure.
I wouldn't suggest wearing a tampon unless you are on your period as there is a risk of toxic shock syndrome, a rare but deadly condition. Wearing a tampon when you're not on your period will increase your risk.
What are some good sites where I can find free sheet music, and/or piano tabs BESIDES 8notes.com and pianotabs.com that has a great variety? Thank in advance :)
This site allows you to download 3 songs per day or you can pay $15/year for unlimited downloads.
http://www.easysheetmusic.com/
This site has a wide variety of music for nearly all instruments. As far as I can tell, the downloads are free.
http://www.finalemusic.com/showcase/fs_home.asp
This site is only Radiohead music, but it does seem to be free.
http://littlerowboat.net/piano/
This one seems to have some variety. You have to have Acrobat Reader to view the files.
http://words3music.100free.com/
This is mostly classical music.

For some reason my vagina burns when I urine, and sometimes it starts to itch and burn. Could it be allergic to my pads or tampons, please help asap
It sounds like you may have a urinary tract infection, yeast infection, or an STD. Make an appointment to see your family doctor or gynecologist. They can help you determine exactly what it is as well as offer treatment.
Is there anyway possible that I can lose three pounds to fit in my dress in 10 days. Please help asap
You should be able to lose 3 pounds in 10 days safely. Drink lots of water. It will help with bloating and water retention. Avoid caffeine as it can make you retain more water. Eat plenty of water-rich foods to help flush your body. These include cucumber, tomato, celery, soups, citrus fruits, watermelon, zucchini, and carrots.
Try to avoid starches unless they are high in fiber. High fiber foods include beans, whole-grain breads and pastas, dried fruits, and most vegetables.
Eat plenty of negative-calorie foods. These foods burn more calories digesting than they have to begin with so you can eat as much of them as you want without weight gain. They include cucumber, celery, tomato, zucchini, broccoli, apples, asparagus, berries, carrots, cauliflower, beets, lettuce and grapefruit.
If you can handle the heat, eat spicy foods. The spices raise your body temperature, increasing metabolism and burning calories faster.
i was wondering where i could but a cd burner? does it have to come with your computer when you buy it? how much would one cost if i could get it and where do you think i could find one?
thanx so much
anything with help!
i rate high
always *KMR*
You can get CD burners fairly cheap, under $50. Some come installed with your computer. Pretty much all new computers you buy today come standard with burners. You can buy them at Walmart, Radioshack, or a computer supply store. You can also order them online. Mine came from Tiger Direct (link below)and only cost $25. They are fairly easy to install but if you're not comfortable doing it yourself, you can check the phone book for a computer repair shop. They can install it for you.

Are there any other sites like this one on the web. Not the ones where they have the famous columnists but another that is set up this way - where you can either ask to general search pages or to a particular columnist
I'm not sure if there are any other sites where you can have your own advice column like you can here. However, if you're just looking for a place where you can ask for and offer advice, there are a few sites you might try.
The site below has a variety of advice categories. When you register, you can select the option to be emailed some questions in your favorite categories to answer. You can also go to the general advice page and answer any question posted there.
http://www.wondir.com/
For relationship advice, I would suggest the site below. I myself am a member and have found that the other members offer great, caring advice. You can also answer any questions posted.

I have a horribal headach. We had no power for atleast 2 days, and it was all thunderstorms. And i couldn't sleep.
But anyways, I took tyolinal and it didnt work. I took it about 3 hours ago, it didn't work. I took the suggested amount of dosage, it still didn't work.
Anyone know a way to get rid of them? I can't take more medicen, Im not supossed to take it after withen 12 hours of last dosage. So I need your help on this one!
x Oo Maddy oO x
Take a warm bath. You could try rubbing an ice cube on your forehead for a few seconds. Get some sleep if you can. Do not take any more medicine until the time is up. You could overdose if you take more too early. Drink some water. A lot of times people get headaches because they are mildly dehydrated. If you can, massage your neck or have someone massage it for you. Sometimes a little caffeine can help. Try drinking a little soda or coffee.
okay i have a stupid virus on my computer!! do you know how to make my computer go back to the day before it happend because i just fixed everything and my brother went online and the virus is BACK after a week of being gone. Im so mad and i really really need someones help!!!!
I wouldn't suggest using system restore since it won't remove the virus. Update your antivirus then run a complete scan of your entire computer. It should find the virus and give you an option of repairing it. If you don't have a virus scan, you can go to the link below for a free virus scan. Once you've repaired the file, reboot your computer. When it boots up, go to start, programs, accessories, system tools, then system restore. It will bring up a screen with 2 options, restore to earlier point or set new restore point. Click the set new restore point then follow the on-screen directions.

I just got my earlobes pierced for the 3rd time. The last two times failed because after a week or so of my newly pierced ears, they would always swell up and get infected. It would hurt and itch! Now, I got them re-done at Claire's and now my ears have formed a rash around the earring. I'm cleaning them everyday but they're still itchy! It's red and gross..I don't know what to do! It's my 3rd time..please help and is this normal?
It sounds to me that you have sensitive ears. Try using hypoallergenic earrings. They tend to have less irritating metals in them. You will pay a little more for them, but, in my eyes, it's worth the extra dollar or so to not have my ears irritated. I myself cannot wear earrings unless they are hypoallergenic. You should probably take out the earrings to cut down on the irritation. If you have some hypoallergenic earrings to replace them with, you can put those in. I'll include links to a few for future reference.
I would suggest using Neosporin or some other antibiotic cream on your ears. It should cut down on the irritation as well as help your holes heal. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before and after touching your ears to keep from transferring any bacteria. Turn your earrings twice a day to keep the hole open and clear.

How do you give good advice? Should you include personal experiences or would that make things confusing. What are some good tips when you want to give somebody advice, like things you should make sure you do? I like to give advice and help people, but I'm not always sure how. I rate 5's for any answers - please help me out on this. Everyone should help so that anyone who reads can get better too. Thanks!
Always read the question completely. I've noticed several times that some columnists have given advice that wasn't really on the subject simply because they have not read the entire question. Personally I draw on my own experiences and also do a little research to give the best answer I can. Offering links to more information or support, if necessary, is also a good thing to do. Make sure you answer the question completely and in a way that the reader can understand.
I know this is probably gross, but I have a serious question. My period is usually extremely heavy, soo bad that I use a SUPER PLUS tampon AND a long, overnight pad. And within an hour - hour and a half, it's everywhere (even going off the pad.) It's usually like that for 4-5 days. I hate going to school because I am constantly paranoid and worried that I'm leaking. Well I finally went to the gynecologist, and they got me on the pill. (I can't start it till the Sunday AFTER my period starts..which is already 2 months late.) Well I am scared I'll start at school. Everytime that happens, I get so nervous and I end up having a panic attack all day because its just sooo much blood. So my question is.. is there anything I can do in the meantime to make sure that I won't leak everywhere? (The pill is obviously going to make it lighter, but it's going to take a little while before its effective and kicks in.)
I would suggest wearing dark jeans that won't show if you do bleed through. Wearing a panty-liner until then should help. As soon as you feel that you're starting, go to the teacher and tell them that you need to go the restroom. If they object tell them it's that time of the month. Most teachers will understand and let you go.
You know how there are websites where you can adopt virtual pets and care for them? Does anyone know of any websites where you can do that with real babies? not pets?
I believe that you mean a virtual human baby rather than a pet. This one took a bit of searching but this is what I found. There is a PC game/simulation called Babyz. You can get it from Amazon at the link below.

I'm supposed to be going to the gyn (women's doctor) in a few months, and I was wondering, when they stick their fingers inside you to examine you, does that hurt badly, or what? Do they loosen you up or what..?
Please answer!
It might be a little uncomfortable but it should not hurt. Try to relax as much as you can and distract yourself from the exam. It'll make it less uncomfortable as well as make it go by quicker.
My boyfriend that I am now going out with (for about a two months)has just told me that he has schizophrenia. I know that if you are a schizophrenic that you are 50% more likely to commit suiside and I know he has thought about it in the past before I knew this condition. He is a really nice guy and I like him a lot. Although right now I'm worried. One because he didn't tell me before and two because I don't know much about schizophrenia or his condition of it. I did a report on it last year in health class so I know WHAT it is but I don't know if even medicine helps much. All I know about his condition with it is that he hears voices even when he takes medication and I also understand it isn't his fault he has it and I should be there for him no matter what. I don't know what to do, I know I really can't do much but what do I do with out relationship? Please help me figure what to do with us and how I can support him if he needs me although I am ALWAYS there for him.
If he's still hearing voices even with medication, he needs to talk to his doctor about changing medications. There is a wonderful website on schizophrenia. It offers loads of information, frequently asked questions, support groups, a discussion board, and much more. I think you may find it helpful.

ok so i hear if you take test and it comes out positive, there is still a chance it can be wrong and your really not pregnant. i also hear if it comes out negative..it can be inacurate as well and you really could be pregnant..therefore how is taking a pregnancy test a good indicator if your pregnant or not? are you supposed to take like 4 in a row and see whatever answer comes out the most?
little confused
thanks
Pregnancy tests can give false readings for several reasons. Usually it's either that you tested too early or that you didn't fall the directions completely. I got pregnant and none of the home pregnancy tests (I took 3 at home then 3 more at the free clinic before finally seeing my doctor.) said positive even though my gynecologist said I was.
I would suggest taking one home pregnancy test, following the directions exactly. If it shows up negative but you're still having symptoms, go to your doctor or gynecologist for a blood test. They're more accurate.
When I try to use task manager on windows xp by pressing ctrl+alt+del, a little gray box pops up and says "Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator." But I'm the only one that uses my computer and I never did anything to disable it. I did a search on how to fix this and followed everything step by step, but it didn't work. Has anyone else ever had this problem and if so, how did you fix it?
First I would try running a virus scan as well as spyware scan. A virus can lock you out of your own computer. Repair any infected files then reboot your computer. Go to the link below and download the REG fix listed under method 2 to your desktop. Once it's downloaded, click it to run it. http://windowsxp.mvps.org/Taskmanager_error.htm
All right. I just got this computer yesterday and my grandfather used to use it at his work, so it's older, but probably not by more than 2 years. It has windows xp, but i have no idea what kind (like dell...but it isn't that) it is.
The problem is, the sound doesn't work and the disk drive won't work either. We called my grandfather, he said the sound worked. We even tried different speakers. I checked the computer's settings, and there's nothing muted, nor is there anything disabled. Can anyone help me with the sound possibly?
Also, the disk drive (as i mentioned), doesn't work. I can open it and put a disk in it, but when I try to open the disk drive icon, it says "please insert a disk". Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance!
You may have the speakers plugged in at the wrong spot or your sound card may be damaged. Try plugging the speakers into a different spot and test your sound card. Make sure to check that the drivers for the sound card are up to date as this can sometimes cause problems.
It's possible that the disk you're using is corrupted so the computer is not recognizing it. Your disk drive may also be bad or corrupted. Check the drivers for the drive to make sure they're up to date.
