ok so my parents are getting divorced and for about a year now my mom has been in her room a lot speaking spanish all the time. my mom has 2 cell phones, one for her regular calls and the other for her secret bf. she told me that the cell phone that i found out she talks to her bf w/ is what she uses to call her friends with. now one day i pretended to be asleep when i was resting and i she came next to me and started talk to her phone service and she said that she need a new cell phone so she could talk to her "boyfriend" and thats when i found out that i knew who she was calking to all of the time. she gave my little sister a new cell phone and i called it one day and the voice mail came up and it was someone talking in spanish they were saying like hey babay and something in spanish and ily at the end and then i knew it was my mom since she must have used that phone and it was scratched up. also i looked at the contacts list in my moms phone that she uses to call her bf and there was only one person and it was someone named babo. then she was talking to my sister and i and she meant to say baby for some reason and she accidentaly said babo. she is still married to my dad and i think my mom will get mad at me if i told her that i knew about her secret "boyfriend." plz help♥!!!

so basically you caught her... maybe that's one of the reasons your parents are already getting divorced so no need to bring it up. if you want, you can confront her about her "babo" but there's nothing else you can do.

I've heard rumors that it's not healthy to wear a bra to bed, and i havent been for a while. Which is healthier, wearing a bra to bed or not? and why?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter or cause any kind of cancer. It's more of a comfort issue. I don't wear one and that works for me.

I think waiting for marriage is the way to go.. no need for condoms or birth control and almost no risk of being dumped a week later.
if it was before, i'd say at least 18 or 20+. that's when you at least know what you want in a relationship of have a lonterm relationship.

Ok I'm gonna burst now. I haven't had enough sleep at all for the past few months. My room's in a very bad position. The road is just right in front of my room and the moment cars whiz by, I wake up, esp if they are huge trucks or buses.

In fact, my whole house is in a very bad arrangement. I live in a single storey house and all the rooms are exposed to the living rooms, kitchens and my neighbours. My neighbours can actually look into our rooms. So whenever any noise is made in the living room , kitchen or by our neighbours, it gets heard in our rooms.

I'm going crazy. My eye bags are very horrible and I look awful. Someone please help me! My dad and my sis seem to be able to sleep through all these noises but both my mum and I can't .

Please don't tell me to use the white noise machine or white noise because I don't think it'll work and besides, I don't intend to get one. Leaving the radio on doesn't help either. I actually got kept awake because of leaving the radio on. Anyone can help me to change my attitude towards such noises and for good ness sake, sleep properly at night? I don't think anyone's in a worse predicament than me.

oh no! here are a few ideas..
get blinds and/or dark colored curtains.
buy earplugs.
move your bed to a side that isn't exposed.
this might be a little crazy but if you have a closet with sliding doors, put the head of your bed in the closet and put your clothes somewhere else. maybe the extra walls and darkness help. (don't know what your room looks like so that's just a guess).
sleep in another room... guest room, living room.
if you can, trade rooms or share a room with a sibling.
get some sleep!

Hi all, this is yg. I consider this a question, I am also kind of looking for opinions. I am asking here instead of the mod forum because I'd like answers from those who are mods, and those who may not be yet. There is no right or wrong answer, so please, honest opinions only.

In the last month and a half this question, or a version of this question has come up and it bothers me. 'How can I hide that I have been on advicenators?' I assume it was meant from parents.

I would like to know if others have this problem.

Do you have to hide that you use the site?

What do you think would make it acceptable to your parents?

Would you be embarrassed for your parents to see the site?

I think it is a great way to initiate conversation
about topics you may be embarrassed to discuss with a parent about yourself. I wonder if anyone has done that?

As with most things that have been in my life, i just tell my parents what they ask for. when they come up behind me for a sec and ask "what's advicenators?" i just say "oh it's an advice site and people ask questions and anyone can answer." back when i was around 14, i showed them the random weirdos section with questions like how do you braid hair or where can i find big hoop earings under $5. so they thought, oh well that's neat... something to do... our daughter basically lives to help people and they saw nothing wrong with this site. they know i go on it alll the time.
on the other hand, i probably wouldnt want them reading some of my answer... especially on sexual things. i haven't done anything absolutely shocking but i just don't want them knowing what i've done or my tactics on hiding things frm parents. i spill too many secrets on here... not like where i live or anything that a stalker could use to come rape me and kill me, but stuff that i'm either not supposed to know about or supposed to have seen in real life. I wouldn't be 'embarrassed' showing it to my parents, more like.. showing too much of myself... the part that i don't really want them to see.
i have my own laptop in my room with internet obviously... surprisingly, i've turned out ok. no predators in my backyard or at the local mall..
some of the answers that people give would make them a little uneasy but for the most part, it's almost expected out of teenagers.
my parents don't have time for advicenators. my dad works all day and my mom speaks english as a second language and i can see immature teens giving her crap about spelling, etc.
I talk to my parents about all those taboo-ish things. i never really had a problem. my mom and i went shopping for my first thong even though she never wore them. we talk about drinking... and smoking and how they don't want me doing drugs or having sex and getting stds. we talk about it freely... as long as we're educated and don't do it (or just not mention that we have..) they're fine with it. buttt i do give advicenator credit for bringing up those topics enough that i can make my own decisions and be more comfortable bringing them up.
alright.. sorry if it's a little scattered. i have a lot of thoughts on this.

I remember being in the same situation... wear athletic shoes. you don't have to wear like gym shoes but just something you can play in. when i went to my mom's friends house, this kid and i would play outside or walk around sometimes. also, i wouldn't go with a skirt... then you'd have to sit like a lady and if you're playing video games or soemthing, it gets annoying fast. wear cute jeans and a top- nothing to "sexy".

is it rude to ask for a 20 dollar fee to enter a teen club for a birthday party? keep in mind that i'm puting on the inviattion dont bring gifts. and the 20 dollars goes towards entrance fee, cake, and soft drinks? cause my parents are divorced and my party is 20$ per person and i have 30 people coming. so is that rude? or does anybody have ideas on how to raise money quick?

Okay, I don't want to hear any statemates such as "you shouldn't have done it". Because I know that it was wrong in the first place.

I had about 4-5 hits of pot, and I don't know when my next drug test will be. I never do drugs, the last time I tried was in the summer and it was only 1 hit. So I don't have much in my system.

My question is how long would it stay in my system, and how can I get it out of my system faster?

Ok well i just wanted to see what one person said on this. But ok I kinda have a little problem.
Last year i went out with this one kid greg. Everything was great and though i was young it still kinda felt a little like love.
However he broke up with me for NO reason and everything ended prettty hard for me.
SO now its over a year latter and he left me a message on myspace saying that he never stopped loving me. Which was of course for me very shocking. So we talked here and there and last weekend we went out to the movies. It was soo great to be with him again. We held hands but that was it.
So now after the movies he hasn't really talked to me. He dosn't talk to me at school or anything.
It makes me relaly upset and idk what to do.
BUt this kinda just brings back all the bad emontion of when he broke up with me. I really like this kid a lot, and i just dont' knwo if he does.
Also he has this one friend and hes been hanging around him a lot, and hes a totaly ass. This kid does anything for attention, and is the biggest dick EVER. I hate greg hanging out with him, b/c hes slowly turnign into him. HELP

hmm this is tough...
i think you guys need to have a really serious talk about why he broke up with you and what his intentions are but be smooth about it. he might be shy about going back with you so he's taking it slow this time. the fact that he doesnt talk to you at school is a little weird... tell him that you don't think he's serious if he doesnt do that and if it changes then it's good.
the only reason i'm not completely saying like get rid of this guy is because you didnt do anything more than hold hands at the movies. if after a year another guy woulda done that and just tried to get some or whatever, that woulda just been a guy that wanted to use you so at least no matter what happens, he's not being a total dick.. yet.
you can't change his friends, unfortunatly, but maybe if you guys get closer you'll just hang out with mutual friends or other couples.. not this kid. you'll be ok.

if you tell him to just use one finger (which if good for the first time), you most likely won't bleed. tampons don't pop it for most people but you'll at least be more comfortable than if you hadn't used them before.

one of my friends has very strict parents. so they were looking at her search history and found her myspace. they also found mine.

i'm not aloud to have a myspace. my parents made it very clear that if i had one, i'd be in deep trouble. i wouldnt be allowed on the computer for a long time and when i am allowed to my parents would watch my every move. so on AIM, i cant talk to anyone about private stuff.

i deleted my account already but i dont know what to do. my friends dad said hes going to tell my parents. her dad is going to say he saw it a few days ago so there's no hiding that i actually did have one.

i really don't know what to do. i don't want to get in trouble and loose my computer rights. last resort would be to come clean but i don't want to have to do that. i need to get out of this situation. i really need help, and FAST!! please, does anyone have any advice?

my parents found out i had one a couple years ago.. my brother ratted me out when my parents questioned us after going to some "are your kids safe online" seminar or something. anyway, i made up a fake one so they saw i deleted it. i know, it was a lie but still. anyway if you absolutely need to make a new one... next time make your default an icon, don't put up a name and make it private and hide your friends so now one can rat anyone out.
