Quite a few ipod mini's have been doing that. They are extremely old though so it could be anything. Did you set an alarm??

A few people on that forum complained about it & it turned out it was their ipod alarm. If it isn't & you still can't fix it, call Apple [their number is on their website] & see what they can do about it. They may be able to replace your ipod with a new, updated version such as the ipod nano.

and heres what happened. i cried endlessly for days, but we are on speaking terms now. he seems SO sorry. he has told me a million and one times. hes cried with me.. hes said how he loves me more than anything in this world.. how he cant lose me, hes never loved anyone else as much, no ones ever treated him as good as i have and loved him that much back, and how he was seriously preparing to ask my mom & propose on down the road. he says without me, hes gone. either to live with his dad hours away or to the army.. anything, but i was the only thing keeping him here. that because of me, he hasnt dropped out of school, and he actually cares about things, and that ive showed him so much about himself and changed him for the better.

this puts me in a pickle. i love this kid, but i just cant get over what he did. as of now, we are not together, but its so hard. i feel like i cant just throw away a year and a half ya know? hes seriously never done anything like that before, thats not him. and he said if we were to get back together, he wouldnt try ANYTHING at ALL.

i told him i need time to get over this, and that my trust in him is GONE. it took me months to trust him the first time around [i have major trust issues, mostly with guys thanks to previous boyfriends], and this time would be 10x harder. but all he wants is me back. he seems so sincere.. and i want to give him another chance, but at the same time, i dont want it to be that he'll just sweet talk his way back to me and thats that. i honestly dont think hed do anything like that again, but i dont want to set myself up ya know?

also, he apparently was under the influence of prescription meds that were not his [they were his moms, he wasnt feeling well and didnt take the right thing].. he says that caused him to be in a different state of mind that night... and that he took it the next day, broke things, and had to be hospitalized.

im just lost. should i give him another chance? and also, if so, how can i open up and trust him again, slowly let my guard down, and just not dwell on what happened?

This is completely up to you. It seems like a very complicated situation & the only person that can seriously give you the best advice is yourself. You know him better than any of us. It really all depends on your feelings. If you feel that he's being sincere & does love you, then yes, maybe you should try giving him another chance. No one is perfect & if the situation was reversed, you would probably want a second chance also. If you feel that he is not being sincere or have doubts, you probably shouldn't. It all depends on how he acts towards you & your feelings for him. It takes time so don't expect to be able to come to a definite decision right away. Your friends should be able to help you also. Ask them for advice & see what they say. It is your decision though & you should talk to him about it.

Lastnight, I had a dream about my boyfriend KISSING A GIRL.

a girl who I think he's been with before, but I'm not sure, i use to know her real well, and have hung with her before, but I don't speak to her anymore.

Anyway, why did I have this dream? It was so weird? I was crying in my dream, and this guy said "why are you crying, are you okay?" I went to school with him, and I've only talked to him a few times, on Myspace.

That was the weirdest dream ever, I was SO sad when I woke up..and now I just..I feel like crying right now.

Is this normal? Does everyone have weird dreams like this?

Dreams are just dreams. Sometimes you dream things you think about without even realizing. You shouldn't worry about it too much. Most of the time they mean nothing & are just random. If you are feeling weird about it, talk to your boyfriend explaining the dream. You could also talk to your friends. It is just a dream though. Everyone has weird dreams. I have & almost everyone I know has had a weird dream.

There's always a chance. You need to get to know him more & start a conversation with him. That's the only way you are going to be able to tell. None of us know him, so it all depends on how he acts once you guys are friends & what not. Start random conversations with him & ask him to hang out sometime.

My boyfriend is a terrible kisser. We've only been dating a few days, so I'm not sure what I should do about this. Its not the little kisses that are bad, those are perfect. But when we start to makeout, he grinds my lip in between his teeth and it hurts so bad. He's even cut my lip a couple of times. I try to pull away but he's usually got his hand on the back of my head and I can't make many more excuses to stop kissing him.

I tried asking him to be a little gentler, but he obviously didn't get the point and he even seemed offended. Is there any discreet way to tell him he's really hurting me when he does this?

Be honest. Obviously it would be a real mean thing to do if you dumped him because of it, but kissing is sort of important. Try teaching him yourself. Explain gently [without hurting his ego] that sometimes when he does certain things while you make out, it actually hurts & is a bit uncomfortable. Show him what you want him to do. It might actually become fun. He shouldn't be upset by it. You are just trying to help him so it's more enjoyable for both of you.

i have like 11 pairs of jeans
but since its gotten cold i can only wear about 3 pairs,
because the rest are skinny jeans.

and the only shoes i have that look good with skinny jeans besides flip flops are my high top DCs. thats really it.

You have a few options. I personally think regular sneakers do not go with skinny jeans. I would try either ballet flats, boots, or flat sneakers. Here's a few ideas-

well i am only 13 and im female, and I went out with this guy named john who ive liked since last year he asked me out a few times and I said no but finally I agreed to go out with him because at first he was all sweet and nice now he annoys me to death and I cant have a serious conversation with him so I broke up with him a month after HE IS STILL OBBSSED WITH ME after such a long time but now I have sort of fallen for one of his supposed "friends" his name for now is BILLY well I dont really talk to him I bearly know him well john found out that I like billy and now he keeps saying that he told him but i doubt it and john also said that they are best friends but when i asked billy he said no not really so i want to know if john really told Billy or its just a lie I really want to get to know billy more but i dont know how to approach him in a way to become friends and no more any suggestions

I think you need to sort out your feelings. If you think John is too clingy & don't like him that way, be nice & explain how you want to remain friends but not spend so much time around him & that you need your space. Does Billy know your feelings? You should sit down with both of them seperately & explain the situation. You want to avoid drama. If you want to get to know Billy better, ask him to hang out as friends first. Try going to a dinner or a movie. Maybe you want to hang out in a large group. You need to figure out your feelings & talk to them.

Me and my boyfriend are real serious. We been datin for a year and 2 monthes.

Weve had a lot of problems.
Stuff in the beginning wasnt so great.
(stuff went around that he touched another girl... and about around our 9 months i found a note between him and her,talkin bout her sittn on his lap. etc.)

He used to hang out with a lot of people that smoked weed,and did a bunch of other stuff.
Hes always gotten on me for doing that stuff. And he said he wouldnt do it again.

One day his neighbor, and friend asked me if i wanted a puff (of his ciggarette) and i said no. he asked why. and i said because he (my boyfriend) doesnt want me too.) he said why he does it.
i asked my boyfriend about it and he said he stopped along time ago.

he stopped hanging out with a lot of the other people who smoked.
Thats when he started to hang out with his sister and her friends. (her friends smoke ciggarettes & weed & drink.)

well one day we were riding in the car with his sister,her boyfriend, and two other people. well his sisters boyfriend sat in front of us. he startd smokin a ciggarette and handin the pack back and my bofriend shot a look to his sister like "what the f*** is he doin" like he wasnt supposed to that when i was around or something.
so then he asked me if i minded if he smoked one. i said no when i really didnt mean it.
Then he asked me if i wanted a puff. (because he knew i used to smoke.)

Hes been hanging out with his sister and her friends a lot. i think he might be smoking with them.

i dont think hes been telling the truth. but everytime i bring it up and say something to him he says he wouldnt lie to me and hell say ive told you before i dont do that s***.
Then he gets all pissed at me.
but i think its because he feels guilty.

Im not sure if im just overreacting or something.
I dont know what to do.

should i tell him how i feel and risk fighting with him?

Always tell him how you feel. It will work out better in the long run. You shouldn't hide things even if you don't want to risk fighting. Be stern but respectful. Don't become angry or upset. Talk to him calmly & in an adult manner. That way he shouldn't feel the need to fight with you back. Relationships should be open & there should be honesty. If you explain your feelings now, there's a better chance things will be easier to talk about in the future.

I pierced my nose about 4 months ago. I've changed my studs a couple of times already. I really want a hoop ring but i don't know what they look like. I'm kinda confused. All guys are different. Here's a few ideas though:

theres this guy i met in school in augest.

You need to ask him. I wouldn't really go by myspace & stuff like that though. You should ask him how he feels & let him know how you feel. Once you both know, things will be better from there. Nothing should be left in the dark. If he doesn't like you, you should really move on. You may like him a lot, but you can't spend your time chasing a guy that doesn't deserve it. Friends would be the best option, unless you come to find that it is difficult to get over him. If it is too difficult for you, you probably should give him space so you can move on. There's nothing wrong with dating around & trying out other guys. Guys can be extremely confusing, so you just have to ask him & see where things go.

I think your hair definately can be fixed to how you want it. My first suggestion would be actually going to the hair salon & asking them. Why? Because they are the ones that are going to be cutting your hair. They can tell you what may or may not look good with your hair type & what not. I'm not sure if you like any of those, but you can try different styles, short or long. Also, I would suggest looking at a book at the hair salon. If you aren't looking to change your hair dramatically, maybe get a trim & put just a lot of layers in it & thicker bangs. It would be a good idea to talk to your hair dresser though.

Honestly, everyone's opinion is slightly different. It all depends on your personal preferences & what you want in a phone. You should look at both & compare the features. Don't just do this online though. Go to the stores & actually see for yourself. Sometimes something online may not be the same in person & vice versa. Look at pricing & features mostly. Also, talk to an employee & have them give you their opinion. They're around phones. It's their job.

I'm currently in High School, and I want to become a psychologist when I get older. Basically I won't deny anyone, whether personally I like them or not. I really love it when people confide in me and I find a lot of enjoyment in making people happy.
But, recently it's been sapping out my confidence (I've been told that I won't be able to make a difference, therefore they doubt me) and it really seems like whenever something makes me happy, someone's going to come up and cry at me until I feel guilty for feeling happy a second before.
For example, I've been receiving a lot more than passing glances from the guy I've liked (his best friend was my ex so it was very awkward). So I'm merrily walking away until someone calls me to lash out because they can't deal with their problems, but refuse to let me help 'em. I don't want to distance myself from the classmates who might need me, but I can't stop myself from feeling so down about it.
Advice would be greatly appreciated =)

I think you should talk to a physchologist about it. It might sound weird, but they most likely have been through the same experiences. Your school, or even your parents, can help you set up a job interview. Ask them about this. I'm sure a lot of doctors dealt with the same situation you're in. Just because you're willing to help others deal with their problems, does not mean you have to share their unhappiness. You have to learn how to deal with other's problems without letting it directly affect you. How can you help them if you're upset yourself?? You may want to try explaining that to them. This takes a lot of patience & practice. Hopefully you are apart of advicenators. That can give you great experience with all kinds of problems & situations.

Hi, I've been with my boyfriend for over a year now and he's very good to me. The only problem is...a little while before we met he hooked up with this girl that I really dislike. They had a friends with benefits arrangement going on for a while and worked together, but fortunately no longer speak. One of the first times I hung out with him before we started dating they were cuddling, and I think this may have impacted my impression of him. She was still calling even after we started dating. She's gone now, but I can't stop thinking about the things they did together and it disgusts me because I'm very morally opposed to that kind of thing. I really want to just put it behind me and move on but it seems I can't, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Talk to him about it. Obviously don't keep bringing it up because its in the past but communicate with him & get it out've the way. Since you've been dating over a year, he's most likely over her. You can't change the past or his feelings, so really just talk to him about it & explain your feelings. If they aren't talking, you shouldn't worry about it. He's dating you, not her. You should only get suspicious if they talk often.

It's a myth that birth control makes you gain weight. Girls have stated that being on birth control has made them gain weight, but it's all rumor. There was never any clear evidence. Girls have complained about retaining water while being on birth control, so the scale would go up & you would weigh more, but you didn't become fatter or anything. Also, some complained of increased appetites, which caused weight gain, but that was from changing their diet & eating more due to their appetite changing. Usually the low dosage birth controls have very few side effects & there's a less chance of weight gain. Talk to your doctor about which birth control is best for you. Everyone is different so everyone has different side effects. There have been cases where birth control has caused weight loss also. Ask your doctor & check out the low dosage birth controls.
