im having a bit of make up trouble. some people wear tons of makeup, and look really good, and some people just plain over do it. I know i dont over do it. sisnce i only put on:
lip gloss
foundation
concealer
& thats all. but i want to look pretty. without looking like some circus clown. and ideas on what to put on and how to do it? no web sites please :)
like the person below me said, eyeliner does the trick. mascara makes your eyelases look fuller, so you might wanna try that too. what you do works though, you don't have to have makup to make you pretty!

i asked a question a little while ago about if i should go in to work or not, when i have a paper due for school. i wound up calling my boss & saying that i can work friday if i don't have to work saturday, which she was okay with. however when i got off the phone my sister told me (she was being serious) that what i said sounded retarted. she said i was like "i um have an apointment with my mom um i mean i have an apointment and i can only work friday if she can change, i mean if my mom can change the apointment to saturday, so i wouldn't be able to work then." obviously saying i have an apointment with my mom souds reatarted & now i am embaressed. if by any chance they want to know what apointment it was, what do i say? i don't make apointments with my mom. i also feel embaressed that i almost sounded like i was stuttering (& lying, perhaps) when i told her this. what should i do?!?!
its none of their business, but they probably wont ask anyways. if they do just say something like for personal reasons, or anything like that. you dont have to explain yourself.

My mom workshift has changed, so she is no longer able to take me to school. So now I have to ride a bike to school. And I just feel so embarrased. People in the car when they drive by sometimes laugh and point. So I just want to know how does everyone else get to school. You know do you take the bus, ride, walk, bike, etc.

theres not really anything wrong with that..people deal with things in their own ways. i always run or somethin when im upset and i normally just sweat it off. try and go out more.. that might help get your mind off things.you dont have to tell anyone anything if you dont want to.

christians dont really confess, or go to confessionals. we just do it. masturbation is forgiven, its a part of life i guess you could say. god doesnt mind if you do it every now and then. afterall he does know when you're going to do.

I'm an 18/f. My boyfriend lives a couple hours away at college so I see him maybe once a month. I love him just as much now as I did before he left at the end of the summer. It used to be that because of distance, we never really fought. Now it seems to be that because of distance we DO fight. Petty, stupid arguments over who-can-even-remember. Yet it's slowly dragging us down. More and more of my nagging, bitching, and picking fights I'm afraid is sooner or later going to be the last straw for him.
Being a girl though, I can't help it. I can't help being afraid he'll find someone else in college. I can't help being afraid he's bored of me. God forbid there's no daily AIM conversation or something and I'll panic and wonder "what's wrong, what did I do, he's no longer interested in me and my day." All extreme insecurites, I realize. But again, I can't help it. I'm so used to guys always getting bored of me eventually that I figure the time has to be coming soon. Which in fact just makes it so much worse.
Our "arguments" (one-sided issues created usually by me) consist of me concluding that he must just be sick of this and asking if he's SURE he doesn't want to break up with me. It never goes anywhere, I applogize later, but the relationship takes another blow. AND there's never a complete, flat-out, 'no', which alarms me, and certainly doesn't convince me.
It's hard to go month to month on only a few typed words each day and seeing eachother for maybe a weekend.
Question being I guess, AM I beating the hell out of this?
ok wow, this same thing is going on with me and my boyfriend except hes about 1,000 miles away and i get to see him only in the summer. we're in love and we'd do anything for each other but its really hard sometimes. it sucks not knowing what theyre doing all the time. i feel like hes doing things behind my back or something then i feel really bad because he loves me. idk i think something like this is normal, and im sure they're feeling the same way, they just dont show it the same way girls do, or dont know how to. i think you just have to look at it like its something thats gonna be worth it down the road and if you want it to happen you have to make it happen. dont give up on him just because he isnt there, because when he can be and he isnt, its gonna hurt even more. i could go on forever but i wont. let me know if you need to talk about anything else!

try looking at dillards, nordstroms, or any store like the body shop, rampage, 579..they all have a variety of shoes around the store even if its just a clothing store, most of the heels are about that height if not slightly taller. good luck!

Uhh. I have really thin hair, and I am having troubles scruntching my hair. I bought this scrunching gel & mouse, but idk what to do? Anyone know?
when you scrunch it, lean over with all your hair forward n put the gel/mouse w.e you have in it that way, then blow dry it that way. idk why but that seems to work really well for me, but if you have somewhat wavy hair you probably wont want to cus it might make it frizzy, but anyways that works pretty good for me so id say give it a try! good luck

i like this guy in my english class and were working on this project together. its so much fun i love being around him and we have good conversation. im worried though becuase friday is the presentation for our project and when its over i dont want things to be like they used to when we didnt talk much. i think he may like me but im not bold enough to ask him out. i dont know what to do about it! please help!
