make up
im having a bit of make up trouble. some people wear tons of makeup, and look really good, and some people just plain over do it. I know i dont over do it. sisnce i only put on:
lip gloss
foundation
concealer
& thats all. but i want to look pretty. without looking like some circus clown. and ideas on what to put on and how to do it? no web sites please :)

k well if you have pretty eyes or you want your eyes to stand out, put on a little eyeliner, not necessarily black b/c that tends to be too heavy, mines a shimmery brown and its really pretty try something like that, also mascara is pretty good too and if your not too afraid and are worried about looking like a clown talk to your mom and she can help you OR you could go to a makeup store in the mall or a department store like dillards that has a makeup counter and they can help you. also if you have any put on SOME blush not too much again, ask your mom for help she should know what shes doing! good luck!

Do what you're already doing, but add some mascara, a thin line of eye liner of the bottom of your eye, some eyeshadow that's a couple shades darker than your stim tone. If you want you can add blush, but personally I don't wear that myself.

eye liner just eye liner brings out anyones eyes so much and eyes are a key feature on your face :) hope this helps

Wearing some eye make up would not be over doing it..

Don`t wear crazy colors with your eye color..
here are my suggestions for eyecolors since you didn`t mention you eye color..
*brown eyes are the greatest i think-wear any color that you`d like that will look good with your outfit..Personally i love light blues,Bronzes && grays..
*blue eyes i think light blues,whites or grays..
*hazel which is what i have..I wear light browns, whites, beige, && light blues..Light greens look great too..
*green eyes..whites,bronze && greens
Also black eyeliner && mascara looks good with all those eyes colors bring them out..

Well...
I don't suggest foundation all over.
What I do is I use foundation just to cover up any imperfections in my skin. Then, I add eyeliner, eyeshadow, and glitter and lip gloss (or sometimes chapstick) and I'm out the door. Any more, and it's clownlike.

Add some eye shadow and mascara to tha' mix and you'll be good to go. Eyes are very important. Some people believe you can see someone's heart, there character in them. So make them look gorgeous! Get a EyeShadow multi pack with 3 different colors in it. Maybelline and Loreal are good ones. The 3 colors they sell in the pack are ment to match together. So to apply the eyeshadow (the shades go from light, medium and dark in the compact) put the medium on first at the bottom of the lid, next right above that do a line of the darkest color in the compact then fade the lightest color up to the brow. Take your finger and rub it on your eye in a side to side motion to blend all the colors together for a more natural look. Hope this helps. check out kohl's makeup selection.. that has stuff that has a pretty shimmer to it but doesn't look over done... like they have a gold shimmer eye liner and my younger sister with light skin and light hair looks great with it on and yet doesnt look over done and it works well for me too and im well the opposite! if you send me a pic of you i would be more than happy to give suggestions!

I personally think that anyone who wears more than 3 items of makeup for day-to-day wear is overdoing it, but that's just me. I go for just mascara, lip gloss and sometimes blush for just hanging out with friends or going to class (I don't need foundation/concealer), but what you're doing sounds wonderful... definitely don't overdo it, cuz guys like more natural beauty :)

like the person below me said, eyeliner does the trick. mascara makes your eyelases look fuller, so you might wanna try that too. what you do works though, you don't have to have makup to make you pretty!

i ususal put on eye liner and eye shadow. but i use a lot of eye liner and idk if thats your thing or not but it really brings out your eyes. so you could try that and also a light eye shadow helps a lot :] hope you look stunning <3 haha
