I want a smartphone from Verizon. I would prefer a droid. My price range is $100 in a 2 year contract so my only droid options are the INCREDIBLE, INCREDIBLE2 and BIONIC... anyone know anything about any of these? What do you like or dislike about them and which would you recomend? I also really like the Rhyme. Is that better than a droid? What other smartphones do you all like?

I had the Incredible and I really liked it. It was a good phone and my battery lasted mostly all day. Its also super user-friendly and really colorful.

I really can't handle my mom. Like, I really can't. She use to be my BEST friend, but now she's like crazy. I stayed home while going to the university. It's been 2 years now, which means I have 2 years left. I've been thinking of transferring to another university, because I feel like my mom isn't letting me live. She doesn't respect my schoolwork or academics. She doesn't understand all the work I have to do. She doesn't congratulate me on my grades. She's extremely jealous. Every time I have a date or I'm out with a friend, she gets super jealous, texts me every five minutes, asks me when I'm coming home. If I'm with a guy, she'll call me constantly. She always wants to drop me off and pick me up, whether it's a date or whether I'm going to a nightclub. If I'm at the library, she's worried about the time she has to pick me up when I just got there. It's really too much already. I feel like I'm going to lose my patience and flush my phone down the toilet. Some things are out of love, and I understand that. But, it's become an unhealthy obsession. She goes out and buys me like $200 worth of clothes, when she knows I needed that money to buy books and she didn't let me use it. She thinks I'm like this barbie. Right now, I just want to get away from her. She's annoying me SO much! But... here's the issue. My university is my home. It's where my friends are. It's where everything is. I'm involved in 8 organizations at school. She's not even proud of that because they don't pay me any money for it. But... I just got awarded like this special thing to do for next semester. It's kind of hard to explain if you don't come here, but it's an honor. I don't know if I should just leave everything I've worked so hard here for. Then, transferring all those credits. I may have to repeat courses if they don't transfer and all of that. I'm already here. I could just work really hard and try to graduate fast so I can move out of the house. Even if I were working, I still wouldn't be able to move out because I live in an expensive city. My only way out is either finish fast and leave to another university. I love my school. I wouldn't want to leave just because she's annoying me, but it has crossed my mind because I just don't think I can handle it anymore.

Please help!

That sounds awful. Parents have attachment issues during colleges, because their children are leaving home for good finally (or about to).

But if you're really happy in your school setting and your social environment, I would take courses over the summer so you can speed up your graduation date. Or you could move in with a friend? It's expensive, but easier when splitting it among people. And if these aren't viable options for you, try talking to your mother about how youre an adult now, and she needs to realize this. You may live under her roof but you're not a child anymore. Thank her for supporting you financially, and emotionally. But in order for you two to have mutual respect, boundaries need to be set. She's probably worried she's going to lose you forever and is trying to involve herself in your life at the last minute.
You're both adults. Sit her down and talk to her, and if that doesn't work, I would say transferring is your last resort.

19/f so i have a friend and she has a brother named Kaitlyn. Now i've met kaitlyn like once or twice and hung out with her at my friend's house. and she is really rude. i mean she'll insult you and this girl is 22 and my friend is 18 and her brother is 16. they all go to church together. she insults my friend and her brother too. she as a boyfriend and he hangs out with us also. one day she commented on how skinny i was and said oh if you lived in California you would have to be in a car seat. and she says all this other crap i can't really remember. like i was going downstairs to say goodbye and she was like why are you following us blah blah blah. the last time we hung out she didn't say anything to me. i mean my friend will usually stand p to her for me. and she gets mad whenever i talk to her boyfriend and says stop talking to him and then once when she aid that to me i told her how about you stop talking to me. and she gets mad and keeps telling me to stop talking to him. and after a while even when he says hi i just say hey orr i won't say anything because then she starts getting all mad. i mean she's bigger than me and she's insecure obviously, and i ask her why she does it and she says because it's funny. i mean i've tried to ignore her but it doesn't work. so how should i stand up to her and just shut her up because she gets on my damn nerves? don't say ignore her because that doesn't really work. i want to stand up to her because when i was bullied in middle and high school i wasn't able to stand up to the bullies. i know it sounds silly at my age which is almost 20, to be fighting with someone, and to just ignore her, but i could never do it. when i did ignore her i was still mad i let her talk to me that way. so how should i stand up to her? thanks

If you're going to stand up to her, don't sink down to her level. Don't insult her.

Something like
"I'm tired of you treating me this way. I did nothing to deserve this treatment and I don't understand why you do it but I will not tolerate this anymore. I'm comfortable with myself, where you are obviously not, and you need to take a long look in the mirror and decide if this is the person you really want to be."

so im kida chubby , but not like huge just kinda maybe 10 pound over weigh or something and i not like grose over weight like people say im pretty n guys always ask me out .

I cut down my calorie intake, and I've lost 16 pounds.
For breakfast I have a slim fast just to get my metabolism going, then for lunch I have a Lean Cuisine, and if I do eat dinner, I'll have another Lean Cuisine. And inter mingle some low calorie snacks.
If you want to exercise you could do floor exercises in front of the tv. Like sit ups, push ups, crunches, leg lifts etc.
Just don't crash diet because they come back to get you. You'll lose it then gain it back and usually more.

i have a beach party to go to in like a week and i have this REALLY BAD soccer tan like my thighs are white, i have a HORRIBLE farmers tan (only arms..not the neck)and i have a sock tan....i am SOO EMBARASSED by it...my friends tell me i have a GREAT body..so i wanna wear a bikini to impress the guys ;D...but i have to fix my tan... i would like to do it naturally and without a spray tan...so u guys have any ideas how?

If you're against the tanning bed idea, then just get a self tanner and apply it to the areas that are white.
I really like Jergens Natural Glow, or the express one that tans you in 2 days. It's looks natural and if you're outside normally it should match nicely.

for the past 2 years my life has been total mess im 14. when i was 13 i had a 43 year old boyfriend and he was myfirst love but i told the wrong person about him and tey told y parents lots of drama happend and i was dstroyed ive attempted suicide many times but before any of that even happend i started to cut myself because i felt lke none loved me anyways after this happend then i fell in love with my best friend but she didnt love me back and our relationship went through hell but she wasnt strong enough to hold on so i lost my best friend that i had for 4 1/2 years after i lost her i became extremly paranoid and i thought everyone was gonna leave me at that point is when my world started falling apart and i stoped cuting myself until today im so upset i just cant handle all of this anymore so im doing anything i can to avoid getting so upset that i attempt suicide again i just cant do this im ready to give up on life my poor heart cant take anymore pain what should i do???

If you're sitting there thinking about how you don't want to kill yourself, then you don't really want to.
It's not the answer to anything. All it would do it hurt the people around you, and you could never live your life again.
I know life's a bitch, then it has puppies. But I promise, it can get better. In order to be succesful, you need to start thinking positively. I know the walls you've built up are going to be hard to tear down, but you need to find someone to confide in, someone that you trust. Not everyone is going to leave you. I've been to this point, and I know how hard it can be. Don't focus on the past. Focus on what's ahead and tell yourself you're going to make it. You can't let the darkness and the negativity win. To win, you have to be strong, and I know you can be strong.
Find an outlet in which you can express yourself. For me it was music and writing. For you it could be art, clothes, crafts, guitar, anything. It's really important not to keep anything bottled up because it's only going to lead to more pain and regret. Be honest with yourself and the people around you, and if they can't handle it, you don't want them in your life.
Don't cut yourself. There is no good in harming yourself. It may make you feel better for a moment, but it leaves much deeper scars. As I used to harm myself as well, I know the relief doesn't last and you have to face the outcome eventually.
I want you to tell yourself that you're beautiful, you're a good person, you're important. Then you need to find something to express to yourself. Cry if you need to. It's good for your soul.
Noone really wants to die, they just want to cheat life. I can tell you don't want to. Please just take a breath and think of all the good things that have happened to you.

I know guys like that and they will never want commitment and they won't be nice. And your guilt insinuates that you don't actually like this guy, and that you care about your current boyfriend more. I'm an 18 year old girl...turning 19 in 3 days. I was at a party with one of my good guy friends and I met a wonderful guy...he is 30. We had a bit of an innocent makeout-fest and he gave me his number and told me to call/text him anytime. We texted off an on for the next week...then I went home for the weekend (i'm currently in college and am living 3 hours away.) he got ahold of me friday night and asked if i wanted to hang out. I ended up over at his place at about 1:30 am..because he asked if i could pick him up from the bar. We talked for quite a while-and in this time frame i ended up being really into this guy-we'll call him Shawn. There was no pressure to do anything more than simply talk-er hang out like normal friends do. I initiated a kiss...this simple kiss propelled things to be taken into his bedroom..and you all know what happened next. After we were done-he laid there with me..I was wrapped up super tight in his arms...it felt so right. I had to be home before day break-so I left not too long after. Before I left-we kissed...and I said "I really don't hope I have to regret this..." Shawn said- "you definitely don't." He also told me he was into me. And He stated the fact that he doesn't care what others think of hte age difference.

Ok...fast forward to saturday night.

Shawn sent me a text relatively early that asked what I was up to...we had a bit of a short conversation via text message (i know, its an effective form of communication...((note:sarcasm.))...) and he invited me over for movie night. During the first movie, he sat in a chair next to the couch that I sat on...he got up to change DVD's and nonchalantly came over and laid on my couch-his head on my lap. We watched the movie cuddled up on his couch... To me this seemed rather reassuring to me because it felt so right...so couple-esque.

Right?

I figured that rather than seeming like the needy-immature-never-really-hooked-up-one-night-stand kind of girl...that i would talk to him on monday.

I sent him a message monday evening...and he said he'd get ahold of me later that evening.
He called me monday night. He explained that he couldn't be on the phone for long because he left his charger at home (he works out of town) and that he needs his phone for work. He also said he would get ahold of me...

And thats where my story ends.
I don't quite know what to think...because... A) I could be being over-analytical and stupid because maybe he really is into me or B) I could be analyzing correctly:the fact that it simply was a one night stand.

Well it looks to me like it's not a one night stand.
Because A, he called you after you slept together and ya'll hung out.
And B, he's 30 so he's probably not looking for that right now, probably more a serious thing.

I wouldn't over analyze it too much. As girls, we always tend to do that haha. He sounds like he's into you, so accept it. And if not, just be upfront about it.
"Look. I'm not really into this whole one-night stand thing, and I really wanna know if that's what this is or are we gonna move forward."
Trust me. It'll make your life so much easier and less crazy to know what he's thinking straight up.

-Babysitting
-Collect all your change you have laying around. [Everyone has it! :P] and take it to Coinstar, you'd be suprised at how much change you have haha.
-Yard sale
-Donate blood and/or plasma. Well. Maybe you're not old enough for that haha. But, look into it :]

Hmm. What's your other cats name haha. That usually helps me a lot.

Now, cat's are already very intelligent. You just have to make sure you watch her to see if she has to go to the bathroom. Generally after a few times of you showing her the liter box, she'll understand and use it. Oh and if you want her to go outside, you must wait a really long time, so that she can adapt to her new surroundings and she won't get lost. Also, it helps if you put the liter box outside so she gets the idea that she's supposed to go outside. Make sure you watch her while she goes if you do that though.

Now. Cat's will adapt to "No!" very quickly, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I personally, have never been able to train a cat for tricks haha. But kittens are extra playful, so make sure you play with her :D

When I got my cat, my other cat just got really jealous and grumpy. She won't run away or anything like that. She may hiss at the kitten, but soon the other cat will learn to tolerate and/or like the kitten. :]

Fall Ball is on the 15th and I have no clue what to do with my hair for it. It's a formal dance and I want the back up like maybe in a bun or something. my hair down is at my shoulders, side bangs and parted to the side and has layers if that helps. Thank youuu!

For my Homecoming Dance I had my hair half up - half down. :]

I got all the bottom (down) hair curled and the part on the top of my hair that was pulled back, I got "foofed" haha. Like where they tease it kind of.

The lady who did mine made a bunch of little braids on the side where she pulled it back, and I left my bangs down with a small curl.

My ex boyfriend moved to Sweden for two years, and we've talked on msn every day and stuff, and now he's moved back to our town.
I was so fucking happy when he called me and said ''I'm back in town, let's meet at Starbucks at 12''
So I go there to meet him, and I didn't see him anywhere.

If he's changed and isn't the same person that you fell in love with, and you can't even kiss him, then it's probably not going to work out.

And based on your feelings, you may have gotten over him while he was gone. Seeing as you had some boyfriends etc.

This relationship will probably be better as you two being friends and keeping a bond. But not a romantic one.

Just tell him that a lot has happened while he was gone, and you just don't feel like it's going to work out and you'd rather have him as a good friend.
If he cares about you, he'll understand and wont feel too hurt.

Oh and, how does he eat with that thing? Wouldn't food go everywhere? (Morbid curiosity.)

I know this sounds stupid, and I'm not like going to have sex or anything but could someone please tell me like, okay How does birth Control work? When are you supposed to take it? And what does it do for you? like someone said something like it clears your skin? And also do you take it everyday and you can have sex whenever? I'm just kind of confused here. Please help! (:

Birth control works by making your body think you're pregnant, when you're not. Thats how you have so few periods, and you have a reduced risk of pregnancy - eggs aren't producing as much as normal.

Depending on the pill you take, the time all varies. Some you take once a month, three times a month, every day etc. Just ask your doctor.

And since it helps control hormones it does clear skin usually.

Like the answer below me, if you are only using it for that then it probably wont protect you against pregnancy.

And typically there is a weight gain, and depending on the pill you might be irritable and hormone crazed at the beginning.

If you are taking the pill so you won't get pregnant, then you usually take it everyday, but again it all varies. Birth control reduces the chance of getting pregnant by 99% but, it doesn't protect against STDs. So use a condom, and although this may sound weird, may sure your partner doesn't have any STDs and if it was me, (because I'm a paranoid looney P:) I would both go get blood work done so you can be completely safe :)

She's probably feeling just as awkward about it as you are. That would explain her logging off. And did you happen to swap phone numbers so y'all could text/call? That helps with the whole "OMFG INTERNET PREDATORS" thing.

Next time you talk to her, just bring it up casually. Like "Hey we've been friends for awhile, and I know you said that you liked me, well I like you too."
It's gonna be awkward, but what isn't? It'll be okay.

But you're still young, and honestly not to burst your bubble, unless y'all can visit each other or you're very good at maintain a long-term relationship, it's probably not going to work out. I know this because, you never know what the other person is doing when you aren't talking to them. But everything is possible :]
