embarassment
My mom workshift has changed, so she is no longer able to take me to school. So now I have to ride a bike to school. And I just feel so embarrased. People in the car when they drive by sometimes laugh and point. So I just want to know how does everyone else get to school. You know do you take the bus, ride, walk, bike, etc.

well you should walk so it's not that bad or just convince your mom that you need a car or talk to your friends see if they can pick you up in the mornings that is what i do

When I was younger I used to cycle to school or walk with some friends and it was great! When I got a bit older and went to a different school I caught the bus most days but when we moved closer to the school, I took to walking or sometimes got a lift.
There is NOTHING wrong with cycling to school and I don't know why anyone would make fun of you for it. At the end of the day, you're getting a little exercise first thing every morning and every afternoon while they sit on their lazy butts in a car!!

pshhh on all the kiddies that are all.. "excersize = good..like duhhr" you can walk. trust me, it's much cooler than biking there and back. it might mean you'd have to leave a litte earlier, but you can eat breakfast while you walk vs. trying to eat on your bike and getting it all over you, so you should be able to make up the time if you walk at a good pace instead of strolling along.

Look on the bright side - the exercise is good for you, and at least you don't have to walk all the way to school. I can't cycle to school because my school is too far away. (I go to school by train. 35 minutes on the train and then 10 minutes walk between station and school)

dont feel bad about having to ride a bike i dont own a bike so before i moved i had to walk everyday now i get a ride and my mom drives a 87 chevelar all different rusty color's

reply to your question, yeah i did skateboard in the winter too. I am actually homeschooled right now, but i love to skate, and i did it year around. it isnt as bad as riding a bike too me, and i like skateboarding more anyways. I live in cali so over here, during winter, it isnt too cold.

i only drive to school if its -40. winnipeg gets that cold.
or if im at my dads which is just a 5min drive. but to walk takes me 30 minutes. i dodle. otherwise i walk

I walk, or take the bus, or sometimes I get a friend or friends parent to drive me. My dad usually drives me, althought that's not an option for you, so there's some other ones.

I walk but i live near my school, you could find a friend to take you if you live far or take the bus :]

i just take the bus.. so you should do that because its a lot faster! that is if you have a bus that comes to pick you up.
