Q: what are some pretty good make up buys that i could get from dollar tree and 99 cents store? thanks

If you wanted to buy online, e.l.f. cosmetics (eyes, lips, face) has super cheap buys like $1 for most items. Check it out: http://www.eyeslipsface.com/
These are good sites:
http://www.wikihow.com/Buy-Quality-Makeup-at-the-Dollar-Store
http://www.ehow.com/how_2239609_buy-quality-makeup-dollar-store.html
I'll copy and paste it here for you:
How to Buy Quality Makeup at the Dollar Store
Don't worry about lip gloss. If it has the safety seal, it's almost always dependable. Make sure lipsticks and lip glosses are in sealed tubes with wrappers that are still intact.
Check pressed powder, powdered eye shadow and blush before buying, because these products can sometimes crack and crumble.
Skip the Dollar Store foundation unless it is a brand and shade that you already use. Be sure to check the expiration date, since most foundations aren't good after a year.
Avoid purchasing razors with the blades exposed since they can be dull and dirty. Loofahs and disposable razors are good if they are sealed.
Inspect body lotion ingredients. Lanolin, a common ingredient in generic brands, can irritate skin. Cleansers and scrubs can dry the skin too.
Avoid mascara. You don't know the expiration date, so you don't know how old it is.
Make sure that both the rubber pieces match up if you buy lash curlers.
Watch out; toners can contain harsh astringent.
Make sure all tubes are sealed. Eye/lip liner in plastic tubes can lose moisture quickly. Wooden pencils are fine as long they are sealed!
Shop for eyeliner pencils confidently. As long as they are sealed, eyeliners (which are mostly wax) won't fade or spoil and are safe to use, no matter their age. The same rule applies to eyebrow pencils and lip liner pencils.
Pick up extra makeup brushes and applicators at the Dollar Store and stash them in your purse, in the car and at the office, so you'll always look picture perfect.
Tips:
Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean that dollar store makeup is bad.
Another good brand is called Wet n' Wild, it is at many cheaper stores, [Walgreens, Target, etc.] and is good makeup, in some really fun colors. I wear it to parties and when I want to try something different. Some of their makeup is over a dollar, but is still very economical.
Believe it or not, you might even find some brand-name products for sale at the dollar store! But make sure to check these products over very carefully because they may have been surplus from a discontinued line and could be out of date. Covergirl and Maybelline are always reliable.
Don't be afraid to try new colors. If the color is the wrong choice, you've only lost a dollar.
Stretch your budget further by letting your Dollar Store makeup do double duty. Lipstick can act as blush in a pinch and eyebrow pencils work fine as eyeliners.
Avoid buying mascara at the Dollar Store. It ages fast (it expires in about three months) and gets thick and lumpy, which is not a good look on anyone. Plus, old mascara can irritate eyes.

The mid-west would be your best bet. On either coast, west and east or Florida you will encounter water-related incidents like hurricanes. California has earthquakes. You don't want to live in Virginia or Maryland because Washington D.C. is near there and New York no. Alaska and Hawaii are far-ish away which is not good either.

Q: So I'm in high school and we just got our new schedules. I'm pretty into music...I took concert choir and musical theatre but there's one class I got stuck in that I didn't ask for...music theory. Does anyone know what that is, or what to expect?

Too add on to the answer below, I took it and while it can be helpful in understanding music, if you don't have a good teacher it can be pretty tedious and hard and is not essential to a vocalist/singer who has to know solfege and how to hit the notes and all the notes and sharps and flats but not really a whole lot behind that. There are many sites only dedicated to learning music theory. If you already have a background in music or want to advance it this class could be good for you. It was hard for me bc of teacher and I don't have a whole lot of background in music. I would say it is not that important for choir and musical theater.

About the first post, the ring a parent gives a child to remain pure until marriage is called a purity ring. I suppose they can also be called promise rings.. but the second definition below is right.

Q: I love seventeen magazine and cosmogirl so i take their magazines apart, grab all the good articles, put them in page protectors and into a binder. It's getting pretty costly having to buy all those page protecters! Is there any way I could protect my magazine clip outs have them so I can read them anytime in a binder.
Any ideas BESIDE:
1. gluing them to paper and three hole punching them (that wastes paper and is bad for the enviorment)
2. put them all over my wall (who wants that)
3. make a collage (no)
please help me!! I need to make sure I can get to them through a binder or some kind of book, but still have them not ripe.
& no i'm not just gonna keep them in the magazine!

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
I cut up my magazines too!
I have one suggestion.
Get a big three-ring notebook and glue them in, one per page. That also "wastes" paper though. If you have any unwanted leftover notebook from a class, you could tear the used pages out and use the rest of the notebook.
Hmm..
Would it work if you "made" a magazine out of the pages? Like just staple as many as can be stapled at one time together. Actually, you can even organize the articles by category and make "books" out of them. Then maybe it'd be best to use something other than staples. I think in Staples or Office Max or Office Depot there are those binder-type things which hold paper together. That way, if you have more articles to add to one "book" you don't have to take the staples out again and re-staple.

A C sharp is a D flat. They are enharmonic notes (same note by a different name).

Q: why does each website have a .com at the end of it? i know this sounds stupid but i am just curious.
|

No, it's a good question. Those are called domain extensions.
There's more than .com.
.com for like commercial, professional sites
.gov for government sites
.org for organizations
.net for network
You can google some more up if you so desire!

Q: Alright so i've been working out in my school gym for a couple days now for like 45 minutes do you think if i'm eating healthier and and working out in the gym for an hour everyday after school or maybe only like 3 days a week if i could lose like say 5 pounds or more within like two weeks i mean is it a realistic like diet or whatever
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
I know what you mean, but it's hard to tell from the scales because muscle weighs more than fat. Like the previous advicenator said below me, the fat loss pound will sooner or later be replaced by muscle pound gain. Judge your body by what you see in the mirror instead. Don't weigh yourself. Everything depends on your metabolism, how hard you are working when you are working out, maybe genetics, etc. I'm sorry to say that it's not realistic to loose that much pounds within two weeks. Maybe a month or two, healthily. You can lose water weight, though.

Q: ok so today my crush was like talking to me cause he sits near me in a mutual class and we were talking about the worksheet and all of a sudden he's like, "what's the temperature?" and i was thinkingg [uhh wtfff] so i said, "what?" and he was like, "youu knowww, the tempertaure.. oh nevermind" and turned around and started laughing and i was like thinking [uhhhh] so you'd think what he said had a double meaning cause obviously why the hell would he be asking me the weather outside??
so, like any other obsessive girl would, i went on urbandictionary.com and looked up "temperature" and like i didn't QUITE understanddd. cause ok
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=temperature
definition 1.) doesn't apply
definition 2.) doesn't apply
definition 3.) it's the only one that MIGHT make sense cause maybe he was asking if i like him or i think he's hot or something cause i always stare at him EXCEPT... it got 13 thumbs down and only 7 up? is that what he meant?
i KNOW i'm overanalyzing this.. but if that's what he meant & then he started laughing, then i'm not gonna be so obvious about me liking him cause if he doesn't like me back then it's pointless.
ALL IN ALL: can someone confirm the double meaning of the question, "what's the temperature?"

1. One possible reason, just to warn you, is if it were cold in the classroom and you were wearing a thin shirt.. hopefully you get my drift.. and he was wondering if it was cold in there? Near you.. so next to you or in front of you? If he was sitting behind you this doesn't apply.
2. Does the worksheet have anything to do with science or anything related to temperature? lol this is random but still.

Q: "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve."

Q: "the kite runner"
and "a raisin in the sun".
i've heard of them and never got them.. cause i thought it might be boring for a 14 year old girl like me. i mean i usually like to read.. but i don't know.. i tend to not go for books that are pretty old though i like a couple

Haha, opposite of younggrandma, I have read "The Kite Runner" but not "A Raisin in the Sun". I can vouch for "The Kite Runner". I loved it. I usually read chick-lit but the characters and plot are believable. And thus it was made into a movie. :)
