are these two books really good?

Question Posted Wednesday February 27 2008, 7:25 pm

"the kite runner"
and "a raisin in the sun".

i've heard of them and never got them.. cause i thought it might be boring for a 14 year old girl like me. i mean i usually like to read.. but i don't know.. i tend to not go for books that are pretty old though i like a couple

i had to read "a raisin in the sun" for a pre-ap english class. it's a play and i usually don't like to read because i get bored but, it was pretty good because i did have to read it all. and he movie is alright too.

I'm reading The Kite Runner and it's alright.
I don't plan on reading A Raison in The Sun, however, because it just doesn't interest me.

Also, have you read The Great Gatsby?
I just read it for school, and I thought it was outstanding =]

Haha, opposite of younggrandma, I have read "The Kite Runner" but not "A Raisin in the Sun". I can vouch for "The Kite Runner". I loved it. I usually read chick-lit but the characters and plot are believable. And thus it was made into a movie. :)
