Nope. If you want a good straightner, get the WetDry ones, or get a Chi. WetDry's are usually $25-30 bucks or a little more. I've never used a Chi, but I heard they work well, although they're expensive.

after school, i'm doing a sport and well around now is when i'm supposed to get my next period. So I already know that I can't wear tampons when you do not have your period. Well for now until my period starts I am wearing Maxi Pads and well they have the slips that you tuck under your underwear so they stay in place...

My question is when I change in the locker rooms (i can't in the bathroom) there's gonna be almost 50 other girls there... and well I really do not want them to see me with a pad, so my question is what if I wear some kind of workout tights/shorts underneath my jeans at school, and then after school when we change nobody can see my underwear, and so i would just change into shorts.

does that seem weird? would people laugh??

if this sounds like a bad idea- how do i make my pad seem less visible in front of people when I change?

I CAN'T wear a tampon yet because i havn't gotten my period yet, it's gonna be starting pretty soon, so i just wanna be prepared.

Having a pad on in the locker room is nothing to be embarassed about. These girls are probably going through the same thing. Every girl gets their period, and they won't say anything. So just wear a pad...no worries. =)

There's this girl I like. She's pretty and nice and everyone seems to like her. That's the problem. Almost every guy I know likes her and most of them are my friends. She flirts with a lot of guys and probably likes a couple of them. I need to know what do I do to make her like me best. Don't think because I am asking this question I probably can't stack up but I know I can. Just need some advice for how to use it. It's what I guess you would call raw talent. You can't "make" someone like you the best, or even at all. Just talk to her, hang out with her & become her friend. Once you guys are good friends & you think she likes you back, then go for it. But if she doesn't like -- it's her loss.

alright, this might be kind of a stupid question, but i just need advice.

i`m not comfortable wearing tampons, i don`t know why. i`ve tried, and i just don`t like it. eventually, it`ll be practical, sure, but for right now, i`m sticking with pads. i got my period in 6th grade, when i was 12, in december. i`m not in 7th grade and 13.

last summer, i didn`t go to the pool or anything when i was swimming, but i had my period when my whole family went to a waterpark, so i wore a tampon that day, but i didn`t like it, and it didn`t even do anything because my period stopped that day. so i don`t even know how well a tampon works for me, or if it would work well enough while swimming.

anyways, i hate having people ask me to go to the pool when i have my period and won`t go. so, if i wore a tampon, would i be able to go? or would it still be a good idea to just stay out of the water for that day? what if i`m going to a waterpark or something when i have it, should i wear a tampon then?

You can wear a tampon anywhere. They're made for swimming, and that's honestly the only time I ever use them. I don't like the thought of having something in my vag, so I don't use them.

Ok, so the Wheel of Love (as I call it), hasn't been spinning for me --- and I'm not sure if I want it too. My friend has started to get together with a guy and ... shes just odd now. :/ She a bit more obessed with her BF then I would really like her to be, (Telling what he did today, worrying aboiut calling him, ect.) They have the same interests (hard rock and stuff), but she wasn't always like this -- she changed about two years ago and she seems to hae "grow up." Scaring people is something can be changed. Just be yourself, but don't come onto them TOO strong because then you scare them, turn them of or make them think you're weird.

Dating isn't something you should worry about though. Concentrate on what's more important like school. Dating can be fun, but it's also like a poison.

Don't get caught up in all of it. It's better if you just stay away, BUT if someone likes you, and you like them back, go for it. Just don't make them your everything.

Keep your bangs, and get layers. And if it's a possibility, you could dye your hair too.

It's both. It can be possible, because most guys are dicks to girls they like, but then again it's a fairytale because some guys are just assholes in general to everyone.

Guys that go for girls mostly because of their looks are shallow. Looks aren't everything. While they are a plus, they're not always the most important.

As for personality, it depends on the guy. Some guys like funny girls, some like shy girls & some guys like loud girls. And some guys like smart girls. Yeah, it's nice to be pretty, but it's another thing to be smart.

I wouldn't wanna date someone who was pretty, but was a total airhead.

Usually when girls shave, they shave it all off. In order not to get razor burn, put lotion on & use lots of cream & a new razor. =)

Just tell him how you feel. If you've been told he likes you too, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Ok well me and my friend wants to watch a movie in the theater on friday the 13th but my dad wont' let me because it's a bad day and sometimes people die on that day (he told me).

I doubt anything bad will happen to you. Just reassure your dad that you'll be fine, and prove it to him when the time comes. Or have him come with you but sit behind you really far or something.

Bad things only happen if you bring them upon yourself or trick yourself into thinking something will. Like your dad. Since he thinks it so hardcore, it could actually happen. Just don't worry & things will be fine.
