My boyfriend left his contacts in for 2 or 3 weeks straight. he got in a bad habit of doing this. well, he finally changes his contacts and either the same day or the day after he gets horrible pain in his eye and it gets all red! it is now to the point where he cannot tolerate light and it hurts. i am very worried for him. he is being stubborn and does not want to see a doctor. this happened before and it went away within a week. my mom is a nurse and thinks it is infected. he just thinks i is irritated. i dont want to see him permenantly damaged or suffering! what do i do? Try and talk him into seeing an eye doctor. I can't believe his parents aren't making him go.
Leaving in contacts that long can cause serious eye damage, as I'm sure your mom has told you. Loss of eyesight wouldn't be very good, especially if it could have been avoided. So talk to him about it. Maybe get mom to say something if she hasn't already. :)

It is called discharge. It is normal.

i really dont know what can i do with the father of. my children because he allways is lying me about he loves me but allways he is hurting me. all the time we are discussing although we are divorced because of an infidelity. i still loving him., but the relationship is very difficult. i am worry about my self and about my children. actually we dont live together. how can i make it works better without affecting to my children. woman 37 years old. i am from mexico. i need an advice (link)

Maybe you need to just forget him, hard as that can be, and find someone who will be good to you and your children.
There are good men out there who will treat you with the respect you deserve. You won't find him though with your ex in the picture.
If you truly just can't live without him maybe you could go to some counseling somewhere and get some help. If you belong to a church, sometimes that can be the place to start.
You can't stay with him if he is going to lie and cheat on you. Life is to short to be treated that way.
You also don't want your children learning that its okay for a man to treat a woman that way. Because if you have boys they will treat their wives badly and if you have girls they will think its okay to be treated badly by their husbands.

Ok so I have stretch marks all over my stomach because I lost a TON of weight. They're all icky and black because I have darker skin and it's summer and I need to wear my new bikini.
Is there anything I can do because I worked so hard to lose all this weight and fit into my bikini and now I have stretch marks everywhere and they're really visible.
Do you also know a way to get rid of all the flab on my stomach. I have like extra skin over there and I've been doing stretches but I still have all that skin from where my fat used to be... help? (link)

Congratulations on the weight loss!
Stretch marks unfortunately do not go away. They will fade out a little but they will not go away completely. Do try the cocoa butter lotion though because it will help some.
By all means exercise but if you've lost a TON of
weight the flabby skin may stick around a while too.
I know that isn't what you want to hear. You have
done something really great in losing the weight though. That is much more important than wearing a bikini! You will look just as super in one that hides the marks for now. :)

I have been married for almost 20 yrs and we have 2 teenagers. I was 21 when we married, at 22 I was a mom(this may sound crazy but I know he got me pregnant on purpose). He is very affectionate to me especial in front of people. My husband is an alcoholic and that has always been the source of our arguments and my anger towards him. Of course the next day he would always apologize and say he loves me more than anything. Around 13yrs ago I believe he had been unfaithful but he adamantly denies it. About 3 yrs. ago I was suspicious of his activity on the internet(always clicking off pages when I walked into the room). I got a program to track this activity and found that he was sending intimate pictures of me to porn sites and exchanging them with others. This for me was the ultimate betrayal,disgust and I was totally embarrassed. At the time I didn't confront him with what I knew, but I did tell him our kids were getting porn pop ups. I destroyed the photos and the program.After that, I promised myself that if he ever screwed up again that I would leave him. 1 1/2 yrs ago we sold our home and he moved out of state to start a new business, I followed with children when they finished school yr. The busin. was not going as expected, I think it was more work than he thought it would be. With me pressuring him to get a job, he went searching only to find mediocre jobs. A family member got him a great paying job back home and off he went. I went to visit him with children and dog for the holidays and had a great time, when I left to drive back (15 hr.drive) I would call every few hrs just to let him know we were ok. After 10pm I didn't call until I got home (4am) called his cell and it was turned off, called my mom told her were got back safely. I asked "how could you turn your phone off knowing your wife and children were driving thru the night" and he just said "sorry I always turn my phone off at night"....Well he screwed up again! So now I'm angry, I was now responsible for selling off everything from the busin.,which I ran some great sales and fortunately brought in a lot of money because even though he was making a lot of money he was also spending it(at bars). I started thinking about how unhappy I was in our marriage. I struggled with the idea of divorce because of the children and the rest of our families. I finally confronted him with everything and the fact that I wasn't happy and I didn't think I loved him anymore. With that, he flew down and begged for forgiveness, promised he would change and do anything I wanted him to do. Our families were shocked at what I said to him, everyone thought we had the perfect marriage. Of course they ran to his side feeling sorry for him, not knowing the whole story( cheating, porn site,mental abuse). During all this, my brother died suddenly from cancer...Because I have been so distraught over losing my brother, losing over $100,000. in a failed busin. and the strain of living apart from my husband for months a a time, I agreed to take him back and try to save our marriage. We took a vow almost 20 yrs. ago and morally feel that I should try. Its been over 4 mons. and I'm very depressed, still very angry with him, feeling like I again gave up on myself for everyone else's sake and out of fear of being on my own financially.
I am I disrespecting myself or being dramatic?

Wow. I've been married 31 years and I know if you
are feeling like this after being married so long it is serious.
The pictures would have done it for me. Staying after that had to be difficult. If you really want to try it again with this guy I think you will need some counselling. He needs to go to AA and clean up his act.
If you're just sick and tired of trying, I can understand that too. You have certainly put up with enough crap already. Don't stay for the wrong reasons because life is just to short.
You are not being over dramatic. Don't worry about that. Do whats going to make YOU happy for a change and the heck with what everyone else thinks. :)

Ever since my one friend told me to stop making squeaking noises and said that they get annoying sometimes, I've been really upset.
Well my one friend calls me almost everyday, but she hadn't called in a while so I decided to give her a call. Well she seemed to be in a odd mood. Like she was annoyed, or she was just mad. But then in other ways, she didn't. She seemed to be herself most of the conversation. Well untill I asked if she was aloud to go to an amusment park for school, and she said that she would never be able to go because of her parents. Well I started to make little crying noises because I was upset that she couldn't go, and thats when she snapped at me saying that my squeaking noises got annoying sometimes. I had no clue why in the world she would say something like that! She seemed to be fine for most of the time on the phone, then she said something that was totally uncalled for! After she snapped at me, it was quiet for a while, then she acted as if though nothing had ever happened. But when I said I had to go, she let me go right away! Usually she'll beg for me to stay on the phone longer, but she didn't.
It's been 4 days ago, and she hasn't called me since, except for one day just to tell me plans for a movie we were gonig to go see with a couple of friends. But she hasn't called me since, and it makes me kind of sad. Sometimes I got annoyed with her calling me so much, but now I realize I really enjoy our conversations on the phone. But I think she doesn't want to call me anymore because I make squeaking noises, but she does too, and it hasn't bothered her before. She has known me for so long and she is now telling me that my squeaking noises are getting annoying! All girl's make squeaking sounds! I thought maybe it was because it was a very hot day outside and she has no air conditioning, so maybe she was hot and miserable, but in ways, she didn't seem like it, or the fact she was just mad because I could go and she couldn't. I don't know! But I miss her! I feel like she left and is never going to come back! I would call her, but i'm too scared, and I would much rather have her call me because then that'll tell me that she still does like talknig to me. I really don't know what to do. I don't want my summer vacation being ruined because I'm worrying too much. Do you know why she was acting so mean, and will she ever call me back? Thank you! (link)

I know you want her to call you but if you call her first maybe she will call you tomorrow. Could also be she thinks you are mad at her.

Can having surgery affect your period? cause i just had my appendix out, and now my periods all weird. This never happens, so i'm kinda worried! (link)

Stress can certainly affect your period. Surgery is stressful so it probably is the cause.
Best thing for you to do would be to ask your doctor during your follow-up visit. If it is really bothering you, call your doctors office and ask to talk to his/her nurse. They will be happy to answer your questions for you. :)

I love kids and I want to have my own kids some day. But the thing is, my number one fear in the WORLD even over death is child labor. I read in a magazine, "On a scale of 1-5, labor is a 10." I know there are drugs you can take, but people still tell me you can feel the pain. My mom said when I was born it didnt hurt, but I dont trust her because I think she was trying to make me feel better. And what about the needle they put in your spine? Ugh, the whole thing sounds TERRIFYING. Help! (link)

Unlike the person said before me...you get pregnant, you have to go through with it. No way around it!
Is it painful, sure it is. But it is worth it and your attitude will change someday. It is fast forgotten afterwards. People are different and each perceives pain differently. So one person will tell you its awful and another will say it was no problem at all.
There are drugs they can give you. However, they don't give them until it almost over. Why? You don't want to cause harm to the baby. You don't want to slow its arrival down either. So actually, no drugs is the best option.
They have Lamaze and natural childbirth classes you can go to when the time comes. The biggest thing I found helpful is this. The more you know about what is going on the better it is. I was 17
when I had my first and clueless. If you don't know what is happening it is scary and that makes everything worse. So when the time comes or even now for that matter just do some research.
Needle in your spine (epidural) is also not necessary. Just do some reading and you will do fine one of these days. :)

how do u get a hold of those home improvement shows on tv? i was thinking for my mom's birthday, i could have them come over or something, maybe like re-do her bathroom or something. and do they cost a lot of money? because i know that on other shows like that,they give people money to spend for the show. but, i think that is more on "fashion improvement" shows lol. please let me know. any information will be helpful for this

If it is a show on HGTV for example, go to HGTV.com and search for info on the show you want. Same with any other show you are interested in. You can just try putting the show
in your browser and searching, but if that doesn't work just use the network. HGTV.com , DIY network.com etc.

All I pretty much do on summer days is just stay on the computer. I really wish I could do other things besides that, but if I do, it will be either watching TV or playing video games. I would LOVE to go outside and get some exercise, but none of my paretns are home during the week, and my brother is 18, but he has to watch me. He will usually take me places in the summer, like shopping, or see a movie and go swimming, but not everyday. Sometimes he wont be home and I'm all by myself. I'm use to it and I kind of enjoy it, but I wish I could do other things besides anything elecrtonical. I can't read book during the summer at all. For me its a school thing, and I hate thinking of school during the summer. Any thoughts of what I could do? Thanks. (link)

Hmm. I do about the same as you for the most part. I'm either on here or playing a video game.
Of course there is always cleaning house but what fun is that?
I do love reading and there are tons of books that are anything but school like, so I will suggest that even though you don't like reading.
I can really get lost in a book.
Maybe you could babysit a couple days a week for someone. Make a little money and it keeps you occupied.
You could visit friends, I don't know where you live...was hard for me because I lived in the country and friends were to far away. But, your brother could possibly drop you off.
You could play catch in the yard, maybe start yourself a little garden of flowers or vegetables. Grow yourself a giant pumpkin!
If mom has a sewing machine you could collect scraps of material and start yourself a quilt.
Crochet is fun if someone could teach you.
You can also punch crafts into your browser and man they have tons of interesting stuff you can make. Could be fun to start making some Christmas gifts for your family and friends.

ok im 13/f and well almost a year ago from now i met this boy! oo ik its going to get interesting. Alright i am trying to download a new font to my computer. And when i do i save it and go to control panal and go to fonts and then click file and hit add new fonts but i look for it and i cannot find it!

Make yourself a font folder in my documents. If you aren't adding a whole lot of them (adding a bunch will slow your computer way down), then next go to....
My computer. Click on c drive. Go to the folder that says windows and open it.
Now go to fonts and open it. Go up to file on the open fonts page. Click on install new font.
Then in the box that pops up you need to go to....
documents and settings
then hp owner
then my documents
find your fonts file
click on your font and it will show up in box at top of page.
click select all
then click OK.
Your font will now be in all places you use them. :)

I don't know how things work in the UK. Here you have to have a yearly pap done in order to have your pill RX renewed.
If that is the case there as well then you have had one within the year. No need to go again until your yearly exam.

I know plenty of doctors and you have to have a pap smear and pelvic exam before they will prescribe the pill.
Then you will have to have a yearly pelvic exam to have the prescription renewed.

Boy I hope you haven't used it yet. Regular nair will burn yur skin big time. Only use it if the bottle says it is safe to use there. :)
