I don't know how things work in the UK. Here you have to have a yearly pap done in order to have your pill RX renewed.

If that is the case there as well then you have had one within the year. No need to go again until your yearly exam.

No need to go unless you think something's gone wrong. Smear tests usually don't start until you're around 25 but if you have any worries about anything at all your doc will be more than happy to help/talk to you. Most wish more girls took care of themselves the way you clearly do.

yes

you are supose to start going to a gyno once you become sexually active or turn 18 to make sure everything is working fine inside of you and you arent getting any stds

either way i would go better safe than sorry

and i would go now or atleast by the end of the month

There's no need to go. Just yet anyway.
Normally, when you reach 25, you get your first invitation to get screened.

no you don't have to rush to see a doctor i didn't but um yeah there is this thing called smear tests and if you don't want anything to turn up positive then wait a while if you do want turn out positive then go. but you know you still have a 50/50 chance of getting pregnant so remember always use protection. Cover up and be safe> LOL

First of all I am very pleased to hear that you were extremely safe. I do wonder why you feel the need to go to the Doctor's office. The ER is already full and the urgent cares are closing little by little. If we all ran to the doctor's office after sex, there would be a gigantic line and you would never see your doctor anyway, he doesnt have the time to see you with all of the other gents.
So my advice is this...There is no need to see the doctor after having sex. Keep being careful if this is what you plan on doing in life and remember that the only safe route is to have no sex at all. (and that is possible)
Also, one quick reminder...Talk to your parents, they love you even though it may seem like they don't. They are the ones who would have to care for you if you contracted something or someone...

It's a good idea to have a smear test once you become sexually active, however a lot of girls wait for a couple of years until they do. As there is a very slim chance that you are pregnant or have caught an STD then it won't hurt to wait a while.
