Hi,I´m Jackie. I´m 39 years old woman, and Í´ve been training at the gym for several years, 4 or 5 times a week. I have very very strong and big cuadriceps. The rest of my body is really ok, low fat percentage and all. I shouldn´t loose weight because my face would become very angular and my legs would remain almost the same (I already tried this)
I tried aerobics classes, weight lifting with aerobic interval pauses: I got no results.
Shoud I run more, do aerobics all the time?
Several persons told me is in my genes and I can´t change it. I really hate it, I can´t buy a pair of jeans, cause if they fit my legs they are huge in my hips and waist
If I were you, I wouldn't work out cuad muscles with heavy weights anymore. You probably know this but, to get lean muscle, do little weight with alot of repititions. I would get a personal trainer to see what is best. You can always have your jeans tailored too.

I have these two friends and they both lie at times. To me at times...and well one day they were asking weight. And I said I'm 160 and she said 120. now she's pretty fat and she can't in no way be 120. I was really stunned at her effort to lie. I don't want to confront her but she makes me feel like i can't trust her again.
What do I do? help me please cause it relly hurts me she lied.
Maybe she feels bad that she weighs alot. You can't not trust her because she didn't tell you her real weight. Most people do lie about there weight. But, if it bothers you that much then just tell her. You need to be honest. Tell her that she doesn't look 120 pounds if she denies it tell her to weigh herself in front of you. I don't know what else to tell you, sorry. But good luck and hopefully she doesn't lie to you about REAL issues.

O.K. so here's the deal. My brother takes me to school each morning in his car. Usually we would just leave at the last second, and get there in time. Now, we're leaving 30 minutes earlier to pick up his friend. I was o.k. with it, but now they're starting to smoke in the car and I get to school with my clothes smelling like smoke. Normally, I would just ask him to stop, but during last summer him and his ex-girlfriend had a baby when he was sixteen, and now I just feel bad for him a lot and I would feel guilty for asking him, because it's probably his way of dealing with the baby (Not that it's the right way.) What should I do?

Take the bus, go with a different friend, ask him to roll the window down but keep yours up, or you can just tell him that you really don't want to smell like smoke. I think he could last 30 minutes without a cigarrette.

I'm 15 and my boyfriend is 19 too! Anyway, try to convince your family that he is done with his criminal life and life of drugs (if he is). If he is still getting into trouble, there is no way they'll let you be with him. If I were you, I would sit them down and have a serious talk and let them know how much you love this guy. Sneaking around isn't such a good idea. If you get caught, you will probably be in big trouble. But, you can always say you are going over a friends house and go with him or invite him over your friends house. Good luck!

I'm using that Dove Energy Glow lotion with the subtle self tanners and I'm afraid to shave or get in a pool because when I used to use the regular self-tanners, they would always wash off when I shaved my legs or got in a pool.
Does anyone know if the Dove Energy Glow behaves in the same way or does it stay tan no matter what if you keep using it?

Shave your legs and take a shower before you put on the self tanner, or you can put it on at night so you won't have to worry about it washing off in the pool. I use Jergens Healthy Glow, and I just put it on at night.

No, there is nothing wrong with you. Just say somethine like "ya know, whenever we are together we have sex and I just want to have a day without it." Make sure you tell him that you like it but you just want to spend some time together not having sex. I'm sure he won't get mad, and if he does then obviously he just wants you for sex.

It could be your hormones. You may have developed depression. Depression can go away within a few days to weeks or can stay permanent. Talk to a friend or family member about how you feel. If that doesn't help, you could even go to counseling.

Well if I heard the excuse "I had to pay my ex girlfriend money I borrowed from her" I would think he was lying. Why didn't he pay her back when they broke up? Why is he all of a sudden "paying her back" when she starts calling. I wouldn't believe it. But, you know your boyfriend more than I do. Just tell him that it bothers you that he's talking to her and she's trying to break you guys up. If he loves you, he would stop talking to her. Now for her, just ignore her.

They say drinking green tea and any other herbal tea can get rid of bad breath for good. When you brush your teeth, make sure you brush your tongue and the roof of your mouth. Chewing on parsely or mint herbs make bad breath disappear. Listerine strips work good, just don't put it all in at once. Take it piece by piece (they are VERY strong). Try not to eat alot of garlic, onions, or cheesy stuff. Drink alot of water and not soda. You can look on google for more home remedies and whatnot.

Okay. This might sound weird, but im freaked out.

1. If you shave, it could be because it's irritated.
2. Your underwear or pants could be too tight, causing chafing.
3. You are sweating in between your legs and its causing bacteria to go there.
If it doesn't go away within a week, really go to the doctors. In the mean time, take a shower a day and wear loose clothes.

Today i went to a meeting at school for anyone interested in being on the cross country team next year. a couple of my friends are on the team so i thought i'd go and be on the team next year. The coach said we need to be ready August 7th to run 7 miles. I came home and couldnt even run one! i'm determined to do it, but i need help thinking of a workout plan, any ideas?
Well of course you aren't going to be able to run for a long distance if you just started. It will take time. Just run for 20 minutes one day then 20 the next, then 30 the next and 30 the next, then 40 the next then 40 again. Make sure when you start out running 20 to take a break about 10 minutes then go again. Then when you run 30, take a break every 15 minutes. You are playing with fire here. Condoms (depending on the brand and how you use them) are only 90-99% effective. If I were you, I would definitely go on birth control. Condoms break so easily sometimes without you even knowing, believe me.

Well when I went to the gyno, they gave me a pap smear, breast exam, and a uterus exam. Then they checked my blood pressure, height and weight.
Then they explained all about the pill, side effects, what it does, how to take it. They give you the pills and you leave. I don't know if you have to go to the gyno or not, I did. So, if you don't have to go, just disregard everything I said before I started talking about the pill.

Whats the fascination girls have over 6-packs? I already have my ears pierced but now I want a second hole. My moms not really AGAINST the whole idea, but she kind of thinks it's dirty looking. every time i put on makeup, i put on loads of waterproof mascara. and you got it! it never comes off whenever i use makeup remover. and i have tried many kinds of removers and i have to use waterproof mascara because i curl my eyelashes and if i use normal mascara it will uncurl them. and im asain so i need to curl it. so what should i do to get all this mascara off? i have even tried lots of makeup remover but it doesnt work.. any tips or GOOD makeup removers taht will take off lots of waterproof mascara
I use waterproof mascara and I use Neutrogena eye make up remover. It works so good. It costs $4.95 and it comes in a blue bottle. Believe me, it works amazing.
