God on the radio
The song "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by Panic! at the Disco came on the radio today and I noticed that they beeped out the word "God." Why is that? Is God not supposed to be on the radio?

because in the song it says "close the goddamn door"
and "goddamn" is a cuss word.
if you had "god" or "damn" by itself they wouldnt be beeped out.

They've got it all right, what has been said so far. Because Jesus Walks - Kanye West, he says Jesus and God, and they don't bleep it out, be he is also not using it the way Panic is.

People get offended easily.. the word "god" isn't in itself offensive, but apparently the phrase "god-damn" is.. I don't get it.. The radio can be pretty freaking stupid..

The only reason they beep it out is because they say God's name in vain. Other wise, saying "God" on the radio is allowed.
