is it true that eating past 7pm can cause you to gain weight?

Not neccessarily 7 pm... but nutritionists say not to eat 2 hours before bedtime because if you eat right before you go to bed, your body is not moving enough to work off that food you just ate.

do you think that a best friend you've had through middle school can remain your best friend in high school if you are very close right now?

Me and my old best friend were best friends from 4th grade to half of 9th grade. We started to split apart during second semester because we no longer had any classes together and we both met a lot of new people.
In highschool, you meet a lot of new people, so as long as you keep in touch and keep having fun together, you should remain best friends for life.

what's the major differences between middle school and high school? i am going to be a freshman and i'd like to know some hints & the major differences. also, whats the first day like? thankyouu muchly.

I was a freshman last year, so I know what this is like.
A major difference between middle school & high school is that your not the oldest anymore! That was the biggest thing I had to get adjusted to. Your now the youngest.
The first day of school isn't bad. You meet a lot of people, and you meet up with old friends. It might be a little hectic if you cant find your classes the first couple of days, but don't worry, theres always teachers who are there to help.

Now, everyone says that freshman year is so horrible, but honestly, it's not that bad. The upperclassmen try to make you so scared but most of the time, they don't even pay attention to you. So don't worry.

Wearing a thong will make me feel sexy around guys i know im only 13 but just about everyone wears a thong in my school that my age. Should i just go off and buy one or should i tell my mom i want one. Im afraid shell think im a slut because she dosent want me to date yet but i do behind her back.

Unless you do your own laundry, I would suggest not to go behind your moms back because she'll see it in the laundry. And it's incredibly hard to handwash thongs, so I don't think you should do that either.

Okay, so I'm in love with this guy named ross, and im not sure if i should hook up with other people to see if it makes him jealous or just hook up with nobody because i only want him. it makes me feel bad when i hook up with other guys bc it makes me want ross more but i figured he might want me more if i did hook up with other guys, and ive tried to before adn it didnt seem to work but idk i think should keep trying.

Don't hook up with other guys. It will only make him think you're a slut. Trust me, it happened to me. I liked this guy and he kinda liked me back. So I flirted with other guys to see if he got jealous nut it totally turned him off because he thought that if i was all over other guys now, how would i be when we went out.
So, just stick with Ross.

I'm a 15 year old girl and I know everyone who answers me is going to tell me that love doesn't exist at 15, so I'm going to say, I " like " this guy named Jon. We went out and my friend gave me this birthday present and Jon was like " Where did you get it" and I said " Brad gave it to me for my birthday" and Jon told me to give it back. Jon is very controlling and wont let me get a word in when he's in his controlling moods. I told him I wasn't going to give the present back because it's rude and Brad might think I don't like it and I do. When I said I wouldn't give it back he got mad and of course left me. I asked him later why he even loved me and he just said " I don't, bye. " I was really hurt and I cried for 3 hours. My friends cheered me up for that moment but I'm still upset. What should I do? He was much too controlling. The best thing to do would be let it go, and move on. (Though I know that's hard to do when you "like" someone.)
There's plenty more guys out there that are less controlling, so go get `em.

Just a quick question ..I have a 14 years old niece and she wants to get a job(to buy some extra clothes,make up etc)...But is this right ??...she may loose focus on her studies...I saw another nieces of mine work at this age and some of them the parents loose control over them becuase they think they work and have everything they need so they think they do not need their parents anymore...On the other hand it stimulate them to work for what they want but...it may leed them to fatal distractions working at so young age..just for buying extra clothes etc etc....

First of all, there's very little jobs you can find that will hire 14 year olds anyway. Most stores start hiring at 16.
If you're worried about your neice loosing focus on her studies, have her work only in the summer so she doesnt have to worry about school.
I agree, working will let your neice learn the value of a dollar.
I do not think you're worrying too much. All you have to do is if you're neice starts working and looses focus or thinks she doesn't need her parents anymore, then pull her out of the job and when she runs out of money, she'll quickly learn how much she needs her parents.

my hair is light brown and it is about 3 inches below my shoulders. it's mostly straight but every time i come out of the shower i brush it and then go to sleep and the next morning its frizzy! i dont like blow-drying my hair that much cuz it takes a while and i dont like straightening it cuz that takes a while also. but i do have a blow-dryer and a straightener. please help my hair horror!

You could try some frizz controllers that you'll find at your local drug store.
But if that doesnt work, I suggest you straighten it. After you get used to straightening your hair, it won't seem to take as long.

If you're 13, then its normal because you're most likely going through puberty and boys are always running through your mind.
So don't worry, it'll probably fade once you get out of puberty.

To me, it sounds like you're testing your wife to see if she contacts this man.
However, I'm happy that you want to uplift your wife, but I don't think this is the way to go. I think you should, in your own words, write her a love letter explaining all the things you love and admire about her.

ok im 13/f and well almost a year ago from now i met this boy! oo ik its going to get interesting. Actually the same thing happened to me. I really like this guy in my church. And I was thinking, maybe we're like meant for each other. We obviously have a lot in common since we go to the same church. And God does work in mysterious ways.
I don't think you should get your preist involved, just keep talking to this boy and get to know him and take things from there. Maybe one day you'll end up marrying him!
